I stayed here last night. Woke up around 4am with a/c fan blowing but no out put. Further investigation showed it was low on freon as it had a good half inch or more of frost covering the inlet. Also- the temperature control was twisted off. So to change the temp one has to pull of the front (which is how I discovered the frost) and twist the stub. The on off switch appeared to also not function. To shut the unit off (I discovered) they have simply been pulling the power cord ou... Read more

This was a good stay, I was only there overnight, but it was okay. The rooms were clean, and the gentleman at the counter was very nice, and helpful. The only problem is that there is road construction, and traffic is crazy, and thr roads are blocked off. The location is good, and close to everything. Not bad for the price. Any discount, and you can get for less than $60. There are microwave and fridge in the rooms, the shower water was nice and hot. There are stairs, and the rooms open up to th... Read more

I like this place a lot! I stay here whenever I come to Houston cause it's cheap, quiet, has a great air conditioner and other things I actually use like cable, microwave and fridge. I only use it for over nighters (maybe 10 hours in the room total), so it's perfect. Honestly, I've stayed here atleast 10 times in 3 years and the only real problem I've ever had was the tv messed up once. That's it!! If breakfast is important to you, don't bother. I get my money's worth.

Location. Impossible to get to with a vehicle. You need 4-wheel drive. Entrance is a private street, not a public street. Potholes the size of watermelons. If you have to stay here use the back exit from the Wendy's. You still have potholes but not so many. Also leave through Wendy's. Beautiful landscaping? Don't think so. The middle 'wall' is a storage business which is not part of the motel. Dumpy you bet. The construction on the highway extends outward into the neighborhood so you will be dri... Read more

The old guy in the lobby, is the rudest receptionist i have ever met. I wanted to continue my room and I was asking him for the price. The price he gave me was different from what i have found from the internet, well thats not the main thing. I have made a mistake of putting my card on the desk. I told him to WAIT as i wanted to check the price on the internet again. But then he took my card on the desk and straight away swipe it. I was shocked and i have no idea what to do next. The room was fi... Read more
