I had no problems and the manager and workers did whatever they could to help us have a great stay . Would really recommend this hotel and definitely stay again. The food and drinks were complimentary.

I stayed recently at the Drury Inn for over a week as part of a Red Cross flood relief team. The room was spacious and the amenities of the Inn were more than one expects in the usual hotel. The location was desirable, and the parking was convenient. The breakfast and evening snacks were pretty much the same every day, but they were decent substitutes for the absence of restaurants in the immediate area. The staff were very friendly and willing to meet special requests. The physical plant w... Read more

The drury inn is a great hotel for weekend getaways, families, and people that dont want to spend alot of money on a hotel room. It has good amenities: free breakfast, happy hour with food, and popcorn and fountain drinks during the day. This hotel has clean and modern accommodations. It's convenient to the galeria and highway. Free parking. If you book you want be disapointed. Breakfast included: you make waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, pastries, juice, soda, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, biscuit... Read more

My first time at a drury...BUT IT WILL NOT BE MY LAST!!!! I was amazed at the incredible service from the first person JOE on the shuttle.. he might look like he could not pick up that heavy luggage but he is superman with his strength and welcome. The hotel was run by a person that acted like the hotel was her own with the pride and service she offered ....she might have been the general manager but there was no job she would not do ...bell boy... popcorn popper .. table clean up... she was eve... This is the third stay in 3 years at this facility. As I have said earlier, it is like staying with family. Our son lives about 3 blocks away and this is a very convenient location for us. We walked in and were spotted immediately by Jose, who greeted us and remembered us staying with them before. Raul was there, but we did note see Luz. A new manager, Hector, was very friendly and helped clean off tables. Attention was paid to every guest, happy hour and snack time was handled well. It l... Read more

Although it is near to a main highway it is very well soundproofed and the noise pollution was minimal. The rooms are clean, well appointed and surprisingly large with quiet air con and coffee-making facilities. The Perk is the famous Drury's kick-back where you can have a snack and up to 3 alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks on the house during happy-hour. It's only a short walk to the many restaurants and Galleria Mall which is definitely worth a visit. The Drury's included breakfast was excellent!

We stayed here for two nights whilst on a tour of Texas. It is miles from downtown Houston but there are plenty of eating places within a 200 yard radius of the hotel. The Galleria shopping mall is also only about 1.5 miles away and there was also a "Target" supermarket only 2 blocks away. The hotel has a pool, lifts to all floors and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We had room 426 which was big with 2 dbl beds, a desk & chair, an armchair, fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board, A/C but no safe. De... Read more

The hotel was booked for us by our friends who live in the Houston area, so didn't really know what to expect. We found every aspect of the hotel excellent. The accommodation (separate bedroom and sitting room area) was fine and the hotel staff were always pleased to assist. Hector was especially helpful and friendly. I would have no hesitation in staying here again should I be in the Houston area. The breakfast and evening snack food was first class. Be warned, Houston is a mega city by way of ... Read more

I booked a couple of nights through Hotwire. When we got there the main entrance was closed and had to wait for the front desk lady to come out...the next hour or so was without a question the worst service I've received at a hotel in my life. The lady at the front desk (Anna) just didn't want to check me in, she said that Hotwire's credit card was declined...and so she could not check me in. I called Hotwire, then Hotwire called her, she asked the guy from Hotwire to wait and moved on to help... Read more

We stayed for a weekend here and we are locals, we enjoyed the pool they have with the breakfast which was very complete, the staff was very attentive to our needs and we loved the fact that they have parking and no valet must be used so that saves some money, recommended.

We love Drury hotels. Have always chose to stay with Drury if given the option. We were slightly disappointed in this location. We just felt it didn't live up to the standards of the others we have been in. We got a double queen room. It was pretty small for 4 people. Tight to move around. Decor was fine. Not outdated. Just some wear and tear around the place that could use some painting or fixed. I do have to say, they did have plenty of luggage carts to use. HOWEVER, when housekeeping are usin... Read more

Stayed here with friends on a Thursday night so we wouldn't have to drive home after seeing WICKED at the Hobby Center. Easy check-in, and we were each given a coupon for 3 free adult beverages during the evening hospitality hour. I believe they also serve hot snack foods during that time- we had dinner plans so did not make use of our drink coupons. The rooms are clean and updated, with a small fridge and microwave. The sink area is separate from the bath/toilet which is nice. The tub has ... Read more

Drury inns are almost always a day bet. This one was good. A few blocks from galleria for $100 per night that includes everything is great. Other hotels in the area charge extra for parking, wifi, breakfast, toilet paper, etc. The one thing that impressed me most during our stay was the MANAGER was making and serving waffles at breakfast! Never have seen that kind of manager participation ANYWHERE before. I'd definitely stay here again.

Was told this hotel was 20 years old, I thought it was brand new. The General Manager is one of the best I have ever met. He was out in the morning cooking fresh waffles for all of his guest. He talked to everyone he came across and the next day remembered what you talked about. This man has a lot of pride in his hotel and staff. I give it 8 stars, and I will stay again when in Houston.

So glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Houston. Excellent location. Fabulous facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. The free breakfast is plentiful with great variety. Not so keen on the disposable plates but hey! it's a minor gripe when everything else is so fabulous. My grandson has so enjoyed the pool and helping himself to the complimentary popcorn and soda. Thank you Drury Inns for providing amazing value for money. We are moving on to San Antonio now and have booked to stay at one of... Read more

This is the first time we stayed in a Drury Inn.  I'm only giving it 4 stars not because of service or because something was wrong but because they don't have many locations across the states. Our stay was perfect.  Gotta love the 3 free alcoholic drinka they serve nightly. Free food at night with a different menu. Free sodas for the kids. Breakfast was hot. That doesnt mean toaster hot either. There waa scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles. Definitely a great way to start your... Read more

If you are just looking for an easy place to stay in a great location, this hotel is perfectly adequate. It is quite dated and the elevator has a strange smell. Everything is just a bit older and smaller than what I'm used to seeing at Hampton or Holiday Inn Express. The price is good for the location and the continental breakfast is what you'd expect from any chain hotel. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.

I booked a room so I could have some quality time to myself. Check-in was smooth and the young man at the front desk was so pleasant and nice. I believe his name was Jason and he made me feel at home. As I check in, he told me about the reception after 5:30 which consist of cocktails and food. The food and drinks were good and I plan to return for another stay. It felt so good to just relax with no interruptions.

Don't stay here if you want your vehicle to be secure. Staff is great , security is non existent. I stayed from July-October, I had my vehicles stolen or broken into 3 times. Local management was kind but I never received so much as an apology or compensation from corporate management. They didn't even have the courtesy to contact me when i asked on several occasions.

Good location, clean and comfortable room, decent food & drinks. Best part was the desk staff. Check in by Chris Woods went smooth. Appreciated his recommendations for places to eat, how to get to the Galleria, and where to get a morning run in. When plans changed and we had to leave early, Jose Miranda took care of this without penalty or fee! A vacation without anxiety due to helpful staff!

We stayed on this occasion for a medical visit. It was conveniently located for our drive to & from the medical district. We found the hotel & our room to be very clean and quiet so we slept well. We also appreciated having an ice machine located conveniently on our floor. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and snacks in the evening although coffee service in the morning was a little slow.
