I stayed here for four nights. The cost was outrageous because the rodeo was going on. Had quite a few complaints but no word from management even after I contacted Marriott corporate. I stayed the following week a the Marriott right around the corner during the following week for half the price and was treated extremely well. The rodeo was still in town so event prices were still in effect. As a platinum member of Marriott, I have stayed at quite a few different Marriott brand hotel but never h... Read more

The biggest problem I had was the room I was initially assigned to. It was Room 808, and it was located right behind the elevators. My first morning there, I was awakened at 5:15am by elevator noises as other guests started using the elevators. The noise continues all day long, slacks off at night after guests have returned to their rooms, then starts back up early the next morning I had to change rooms, but it was nearly noon before that was possible. A common problem in all rooms I have s... Read more

I stayed here and the hotel was great in spite of flooding. Most of all it was good to wake up to a warm breakfast. Previously, a overflowing of bayous accured alone with thunder storms yet, we were able to maintain a 100% with low staff. The hotel can use new refrigerators which were regulated by a faulty push button . Also, this room did not have a microwave and it would have been great to have a microwave especially, since the restaurants were closed and there were no way to get fo... Read more

We really liked the location of this hotel. It's just down the street from Texas Orthopedic Hospital and located near other hospitals as well. The rooms are clean and large. The bathroom is big and clean with a nice shower. The front staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

A couple of miles from the main hospital area, this is well located with a few chain restaurants close by. The shuttle drivers will take you anywhere within 3 miles which is handy as the so called Bistro food lets the whole place down. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and fairly clean. There is an outdoor pool but the weather prevented its use, not the hotels fault. The staff are friendly and professional. The transfer from George Bush Airport costs about 65 dollars and reception have a ver... Read more

I stayed here multiple times for work. This is a typical Courtyard in a good location for driving to the various medical centers. The rooms are truly Texas-sized and well equipped. Good business hotel and it also has an outdoor pool. I would avoid this during the rodeos or football games as it is close to that complex and gets very, very busy.

Here for business. Nice, quiet, clean room 5 minutes from the medical center. Had a free shuttle, though the morning I rode it, it filled up fast and people were left behind. Had to pay for breakfast. Overall, I would stay here again if I wanted someplace close the TMC.

The hotel is exactly as the advertised photos make it look. Room 314 was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 teen boys. It had 2 beds and a foldout chair. The walls were well insulated and I couldn't even hear the shower running! Amazing! We had a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool. We swam one evening and enjoyed the pool very much. The "Bistro" has many options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Our favorites were Starbuck's coffee, the spicy tropical margari... Read more

The staff was awesome!! I had no issues with check in. The room was huge and spacious, very clean, the bathroom was also a good size. I was in a double queen bed room. There is a bar and small restaurant inside. No free breakfast. We bought breakfast there before heading to MEPS to see our son swear in for the Marine Corps, breakfast for 2, was around 20 bucks, but, there are many restaurants around the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay! Nice location, parking is above ground and a sma... Read more

I have stayed here two years in a row for the OTC trade show. The hotel common areas are nice, and the staff is very kind and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms are starting to show some wear and tear. The carpet was ripped in a few places, and the furniture had normal use and abuse.

Convenient location, clean, comfortable and very well maintained; cordial and helpful desk staff, ample free parking (if you remember there's a below ground garage as well as surface level spaces). More than satisfactory in all respects.

We recently stayed at this hotel. One morning we went to our car and discovered the front window was smashed. Police had left a report slip in our car. We went to the hotel front desk and were told 4 cars had been broken into that night. They did not apologize or show any concern or interest to help. We had our window replaced and were told by the auto repair shop that this was the 4th or 5th incident in 2 weeks. We asked the manager about this and what security measures were taken or would be t... Read more

Car was burguralized broken window 1st night. Hotel staff failed to notify me despite having identifying paper on dash even though they called police 10 hrs earlier to make a report. I called hotel manager regarding their failure to notify me about incident as I did not find out about in until 3pm next day, never heard from him. 3 days later another car had its window smashed and found out by talking to people this is a high crime area and this happens frequently to people staying here. This is my second business trip to Houston. For the first, not knowing much about the city, I stayed in a Marriott near Hobby airport. This time, with a little research and some help from a colleague I stayed in Courtyard near the Medical Center. This is a great hotel, not because it was so convenient for my business meetings but because of the staff. These are some of the friendliest , helpful folks I've run into in awhile starting with the front desk all the way thru to the housekeeping staff... Read more

Courtyard hotels are pretty consistent, ranging from good to pretty good. This is one of the "pretty good" ones. I've stayed here twice and liked the comfortable bed, squeaky clean bathroom, and quiet room (didn't notice any street noise). I've never gotten used to Courtyard's new approach to breakfast. The individual franchisees have not control over this, but when Courtyard switched to order-at-the-counter method for breakfast, they went down a notch when compared to competitor Hilton Garden I... I stayed for one night with my husband because this hotel is close to the NRG stadium and we were attending a concert there. The hotel is modern, well kept and adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a complimentary shuttle service that services a 3 mile radius from the hotel. The van took us to the concert and picked us up after at 1am! The shuttle is punctual and the driver is very agreeable. This is a great hotel for its close proximity to the NRG stadium and the medical c... Read more
