Overall room was nice, staff was nice and breakfast Buffett was typical. We had 3 days with luke warm water in the am, warmed up later in the day so we just switched out showers to the evening. No real restaurants in walking distance and the one that is located in the parking lot was probably one of the worst dining experiences we've ever encountered. Horrible food, horrible service and so loud you could feel the music in your chest lol! So I'm hoping someday a nice restaurant might open near th... Read more

The room looked clean, the couch looked like 2 cushions were taken from a completely different couch . Walls looked freshly painted. The bathroom left much to be desired. Tub was so clogged, water was above my ankles.

We stayed at this hotel after a late arriving flight. One of the reasons I wanted to stay at the hotel was because of the free shuttle from the airport. However, we waited for over a half hour at 11:30 PM at the airport for the shuttle because it was too small to transport everyone that was waiting to go to the the Marriott brand hotels that night which was frustrating. Once we did get on the shuttle I heard another customer speaking about the price that he pays to stay in the hotel and it was h... Read more

We booked this room using Marriott points. Check in was chaos- there was one person at the front desk and she was doing several things at once. The carpet in the hallway is dirty and thin. The laminent in the elevator is peeling. The bathtub was dirty and the bathtowels are thin and scratchy. When we checked out the next morning they told us they had charged our room to our debit card. Wait! What!? No, we booked our room with points. They had already deducted the points from our account an... Read more

We stayed here the night before flying out of hobby. Hotel clean. The room was spacious for the 5 of us. Work out area was nice. They also have a pool and jacuzzi. The off site airport parking is just down the road from the hotel about 2 minutes away. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel as well. Would stay here again when flying out of hobby.

Me and my family have stayed here for the last two weeks and the staff here is AMAZING. The staff was extremely kind and was great with my children. Carlton, Raheem and Brittney were the main reason why ive decided to stay here so long while im here on business. The hotel was pretty medicore but the service made up for it, especially from Carlton. He has a wonderful smile that just brightens up your day. I plan on visiting again and im extremely excited.

There is an odd fencing arrangement in the front parking lot with gates. The gates didn't work nor did the fencing encompass the whole front lot. When asked if I could park in the back, closer to the back door and my room, I was told it was not recommended. Bed was very hard. Air didn't cool - if you are in Southeast Texas you want the air to cool! Oddly configured room also. Couch had a cigarette burn. Some noise. I would never stay there again. Stayed there bc of Hobby Airport and earl... Read more

We stayed at the Courtyard both ways through Houston. It's a nice clean hotel with a really nice pool area. I left my necklace in the room the first time. They saved it for me when we came back the second time. It's so nice to have honest people in this sometimes shady world that we live in.

Arrived via shuttle bus from airport. Driver was proficient and courteous. Hotel lobby looks like it has been rejuvenated on occasion. Arrived at first floor room to another condition. Sliding aluminum door was old and did not give the feeling of secure. Carpet was stained. Room was musty and felt like it was part of the flood. Fixtures were old and tired. Bed was really not a quality bed and had sag holes in the mattress. Phone did not work. Left the next morning without trying breakfast. ... Read more

I'll start with the positives - the people who work at the hotel are very nice and tried to help as much as they could under such horrific conditions...We stayed at this hotel twice within a 10 day period - once on our way to Costa Rica and once on our way back. The first time we booked a two room suite, when we arrived at 2:30 a.m. we were informed it wasn't available because the people who stayed the night before stole all the TVs (!!). Wow, ok. They put us in two separate rooms and all was we... Read more

We reserved our room on line after reviewing the hotel website. But when we get there nothing like what has been described by the website. We were very disappointed. And very bad experience with the Marriott chain of hotels. Ice machine located on the second and third floor, No towels in the pool area.

We like Marriott courtyards. The rooms are ample size, with comfortable beds. I used points for 2 rooms. One certificate and 1 on points. We were hungry, and they had their shuttle take us and pick us up from a restaurant. Their manager Yolanda, was very accommodating , and offered a special promotion of 2 free breakfasts if we paid for two. The breakfast's were cooked to order, and the coffee was good. They also took care of ordering a cab to take the 4 of us to the Galveston cruise terminal.

Let me start by saying I have stayed at this Courtyard on several occasions over the years , and I loved it! However, this go around was very concerning to me and I am not pleased with my entire stay. Upon arrival I met with a very polite and respectful young man that checked me in immediately with no problems, thank you For that. The room was clean when we walked in and seemed exceptionally comfy! We slept like angels and felt well rested the next morning. First things first, Coffee please. I ... Read more

Located behind a lot of iron gates you can feel secure about parking a rent car here with s somewhat cumbersome combination lock for walk in/walk out access. The hotel is about 2 miles from Hobby Airport and located next to the I-45 freeway. Room windows are well insulated from exterior noise but I had no trouble hearing someone in the next room through the wall. The room had a nice king bed with working alarm and the standard amenities you would expect including s fridge. I had a good night'... Read more

I recently stayed at the Courtyard this past weekend and I had a fantastic stay. To say that I am high maintenance is an understatement, but I always make my many requests with a smile and pleasant demeanor. The initial reservation was at another Marriott property that was 40 something miles away from where I needed it to be. I called around to find another location and Raheem was so helpful in telling me about the various Marriott hotels in the area. His willingness to assist helped me to make ... Read more

Hotel has the basics. The gates and steel fences gives you an idea. For the price if you have to stay there for work or a short stop it is ok . You have to pay for breakfast. Nothing is free. No cookies or Apples. Better stay next door at the Marriott if the price is similar

I stay at a lot of Courtyards for business and this one falls a little short for me. The staff is super friendly and the facility is clean, but the parking is weird. There is no fridge or microwave in room and the fitness center only has 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical and is very small. All in all, clean and functional but a little short.

Booked a room at the CY because they are a known value. This property should not be in the Marriott system. Stay away even though it is "Marriott" it is not a place you want to stay. The staff has a big chip on their should. You get total attitude from almost all the staff. The parking lot is like a prison. You can't get to the lobby unless you know the security lock code. To get into the hotel you have to walk past large open trash bins. This hotel needs management the actually wants guests... Read more
