When making reservation with hotel I was assured there was a crosswalk from Hotel to Methodist Hospital in Houston. Upon arrival I find NO crosswalk whatsoever. We had to be at hospital by 5am next morning and didn't want to walk on street for safety purpose thus needing crosswalk. No shuttle service available till 7am thus we had to take our car and park in hospital parking. Don't appreciate being lied to. Probably will not stay here again.

This place is great location for almost everything in Houston. Very close to Houston Zoo. But the quality of room cleanliness need improvement. The price per room stay is way too high compare to other hotel in this location.

This is a hotel undergoing renovation, what they have finished so far is very nice. Room was kind of sparsely furnished though, with only one straight back chair to sit in. The hotel had no hot water due to a natural gas leak somewhere in Houston that caused the gas to be shut off. But the hotel gave a large credit back to the room as a result. Breakfast was top-notch with a larger than normal selection of hot and cold items to choose from Staff was great. The front desk folks explained the lack... Read more

The hotel is a reasonably priced place to stay in the Houston medical district. Complementary parking is available in the garage below the hotel. However, There is only a staircase (no elevator) to get to the hotel lobby. The door to the stairs is key card controlled and persnickety in that you need to insert your card 10 or more times before the door will open - several times I opted for walking up the dangerous entry ramp to get back to the lobby after going to my car. My advise is to offlo... Read more

although convenient as in close to MD anderson--would never stay again! The elevator at our end of hallway and ice machine was not working and when I told the front desk, the gentlemen argued that the ice machine did work and that the elevator was under construction and we would have to walk to other end of hallway --There was construction inside hotel beginning at 6am and outside hotel all thru the night.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Location was good. The only problem was the internet connection. When we traveled there, they had a problem with the internet connection and the wifi kept disconnecting. Overall we had a very nice experience and will definitely go back.

The room was adequate for a 3-star hotel. The staff had a 4-star attitude. The hotel was under construction and parking was slim. But it was clean enough, quiet enough and the beds were comfortable. It is, after all, a relatively inexpensive hotel; but I cannot rate it above average.

It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and very convenient to MD Anderson. They offer shuttle service on the hour, and drivers were very kind and friendly. We will be returning later this winter, and we likely will stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, price is reasonable. Convenient location to the Medical complex in Houston and the shuttle is a nice touch for people who need it. This will never be confused with a five-star hotel, but it definitely filled my needs on three of our trips to Houston. All in all, a good value.
