When I drove up to the BW, Houston. I thought that I chose a dud of a hotel and I was going to be disappointed. The hotel was surrounded by construction from side to side however, I was so happy to be wrong. The hotel lobby was gracefully decorated and I was greeted by a friendly and courteous front desk personnel. I checked in within 5 minutes and on my way to my room. That was such a relief after a long and hectic trip from the airport and suffering from jet lag. My room was just what I ord... Read more

melissa potts was a complete sweetheart, i walked in the door with swollen red eyes and a tissue and she immediately asked if i was ok, my mother is in the hospital across the street and helped my with the check in process quickly and was so sweet and caring. i can't say enough about her caring demeanor, she made my day bearable. melissa gave me a hug upon my departure and i will forever appreciate her kindness

Tub needed to be resurfaced, there was thick dust accumulated inside the vents, the microwave had cooked on gunk on it, the hotel is very outdated. The parking is horrible to day the least. But Claudia was very nice and courteous!

Hotel is only a short walk, approximately 15 minutes to Methodist Hospital, across the street from Children's and other Baylor clinics. Shuttle available on the hour to other Texas Medical Center hospitals. Rooms are a bit noisy now due to construction of new hotel next door. Rooms do need a bit of updating in the future.

I stay at this hotel for many years, each times when we go to Houston at MD Anderson Medical Center. No frills. But good value for the money you pay per day. Breakfast quality has improved since the early days. My recent visit was Jan-29 to Jan-31 2017. Pamela and Melissa from the front desk helped me to recover my iPhone that I forgot it in the lobby. They waited for me and my husband to return at hotel and return the iPhone. A warm "Thank You" for to Pamela and Melissa.

I would give this place a zero if I could. The price was ok, but we found a WAY nicer hotel nearby for the same price!! It is close to hospital where our daughter was being treated, but other hotels have free shuttles!! The front desk staff was extremely unprofessional. Our room was dirty and the hotel smelled terrible. What pushed us over the edge though was the fact that we saw TWO baby cockroaches in our room!!! We went to the front desk to tell them we were leaving and wanted to be reimbur... Read more

Walked in and there was no one at front desk. Finally a women came from a back room and didn't even greet us. All she said was " are y'all here to check in?". Other girls from different shifts were much better. There was NO parking. The parking when available was for compact cars. The elevator was broken. It smelled musty. The shower and tub look like it had been painted with layers of paint to save money and it was chipping everywhere. Bathroom counter could barely fit a toiletry bad. Breakfast... Read more

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Tv did not work they said it was a direct tv problem and they could not do anything. Ants all over the room. Front desk is very rude when you call. There are many other places you can stay in the medical center I would not give them my business again.
