Nice hotel, with friendly personal. Check in was an efficient process. Parking garage in the neighborhood for reasonable price. Quality of food in the restaurants are excellent only the ambiance of the restaurants can be better.

The staff at the Hyatt was awesome! We stayed there for 4 days because we had our sons wedding reception across the street at the Petroleum Club. We held a cocktail hour at the bar area in the lobby for our wedding guests and the service and management was great! We really appreciate all they did for us!

Ask for Karl Erickson because he will not only get your bags to your room, he will check on you throughout your stay to make sure all is going good. A very nice kind man and the rest of the staff that I met were good too

Loved this hotel overnight for Houston marathon weekend. We're making in an annual family tradition to spend the night in downtown to get additional rest the night before I do the marathon or half each year. Last year we had stayed at the DoubleTree two blocks from here. The Hyatt was much better. Nice hotel with good views from room. Einstein Bros bagel shop is open 24 hrs so it was awesome to get a good bite to eat before the race. Their normal shuttle time is noon but they started running it ... Read more

The Hyatt has always been accommodating, attentive, comfortable and clean. The Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston is no exception. The Lobby Bar staff are very hospitable and the front desk staff are very attentive. I have been frequently staying at this property for almost a decade, and have had very few issues. Hyatt could add USB charging ports to the rooms for more convenience.

Staff are quite impressive here - from the registration/reception to the restaurant wait staff and housekeeping. At first, I was a bit concerned there would be limited dining options. But no - Shula and Spindletop food and wait service were seriously amazing - crab cakes and desserts - yum! Einstein's - has everything from food, beverage, supplies to gifts - and is open 24/7. Shuttle transportation was also a wonderful service for nearby venues. Thank you for a great stay!

Stayed four nights and never heard the person in the rooms next to me. Awesome sleeping environment! Have a Shulas downstairs as well as an Einsteins Bagel. Shulas is reasonably priced for breakfast, but you'll need a second mortgage to pay the dinner bill.

Very nice hotel with good location. Our room had refrigerator and coffee bar. Spindletop had excellent food. Only negative was the bar served Pepsi products....I drink Jack & Coke not Jack & Pepsi. Had to change what I was drinking. LOL.
