Had a few nights at this Hyatt in Houston's business district recently. I had an upgraded room though I wouldn't exactly call it a suite. The rooms were large and clean. Bedding was good and clean - classic Hyatt bed. Housekeeping was pretty good and requests handled well. It was hard to get them to leave extra coffee and creamers. (i finally asked the breakfast place to give me a little cream to go.) The price was pretty good. I think I paid about $200/night w/ taxes. I'd recommend it, but if ... Read more

I wish I could leave zero stars... I checked in to a room with two double beds. I placed my luggage on one bed and sat down on the other. I noticed the bed seemed very old as it was soft and squeaky. I sat on the other bed to find that it was even worse and offered little support. I went to the bar/restaurant in the lobby for dinner and had a fair experience. The food was overpriced and just ‚??okay‚?? and my server was kind. The next morning I woke up freezing. I immediately looked at the t... Read more

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a business meeting and was very comfortable through out my stay. The food served in the Window Box for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were wonderful and very accommodating for anyone with specific food preferences/requirements. My only complaint is that the shower in the bathroom was very cold. Even with the water to the hottest setting, I was practically shivering the entire time. The shower was a walk-in/door-less type but I felt that the stall either needed to ... Read more

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean room. Check-in was quick and easy. Good hotel amenities, including an Einstein Bagel shop in the lobby to grab a quick bite. I also appreciated the large number of charging stations in the room for multiple devices.

The hotel was clean and very nice. The staff was friendly and efficient. We attended a gala which was very nice as well. I appreciate the good rate for attendees - it's so much nicer to stay downtown!

Very nice hotel, great location, food service and choice of food was great. I had a very enjoyable time. The pool area was also a relaxing time and swim in. I liked the gardens the employees planted in the area.

Right downtown, very convenient for business trip. But the noise overnight was a problem. Just use earplugs. Otherwise great staff and restaurant. I don't think I would pay that price for a personal trip, but for a business trip it was fine.

Hotel was good - enjoyed the lobby and lobby bar. The room was only average. The staff was wonderful - very courteous and helpful. The Hyatt was a bit far from convention center but I managed just fine. Nice walk but encountered a few unsavory characters early morning and wouldn't walk alone at night.

Great location if you are in downtown Houston for business. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean room. Stayed at 26th floor so it was relatively quiet. Complimentary Wi-fi was slow and unreliable most of the time. The Lobby Bar staff were amazing but the menu (food and drinks) needs improvement. Breakfast and meals are overpriced in the restaurant (Shulas). If you don't want to pay 35+ dollars for your car park, there many options in the neighborhood price ranging between 8 to 13 dolla... Great location, good room, service was ok. I stayed two days - overall service at front desk was good. Room cleaning was ok - maybe it was one-off. Anyone visiting downtown for work or pleasure can look at this as an option. .
