In a torrential thunderstorm, called ahead to reserve a room. Had to get off of the highway due to unsafe conditions. Was told that my room was reserved. Upon arrival 5 minutes later, was told at front desk that they were now sold out...full capacity. No apology. I had to get back in 5 mile per hour traffic w near zero visibility and travel to the next town. Horrific experience.

The location was great. Just off freeway and next to a great restaurant and the Hillsboro Outlet Mall. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast each morning. The food at breakfast is what you expect from the level of hotel. The breakfast had hot items and was consistently being restocked.

9 senior adults visiting Waco for the weekend. Timing conflicted with Baylor graduation, so we reserved 5 rooms in Hillsboro. Worked out perfectly for us. Rooms were clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was spacious and water pressure in shower excellent. Versatile breakfast included. Very nice hotel and a reasonable price.

The cleanest hotel you'll find in Hillsboro. I was only there for about 9 hours. THe front desk did what ever they could to get me what I asked for....a room away from the elevator and with a fridge and Microwave. I ended up changing rooms two or three times...I can't remember. The room I finally stayed in...had everything I needed but smelled slightly like smoke. I think its a non smoking hotel but I'm very allergic to smoke and well...I sneezed a lot that night. I'm sure I could've changed roo... Read more

Our stay was delightful. We had two adjoining rooms and loads of space. The breakfast area was very busy, so at times it was difficult to get meal items. Overall great stay thou. Finding the correct entrance to actually get to the hotel was tricky at night.

This Hampton inn is decent. The town of Hillsboro still allows smoking indoors so does this hotel. The 4th floor is a mixture of smoking and nonsmoking rooms, so it stinks up there. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff is friendly. Can't ask for much more from a traveling hotel.

We stayed at Hampton Inn in Hillsboro, TX for two nights/two rooms with another couple. The air conditioner in our room worked more as a swamp cooler than an air conditioner. The room was so humid, the carpet and bed felt damp. The toilet seat in the bathroom was loose and had a tendency to slide. Breakfast both days was good with a wide selection of items. Desk staff were not very professional during check in/out. Complimentary internet was exceptionally slow. Hotel location was great as... Read more

MAN THE FRONT DESK! Other than that a very nice stay. Room was great, hotel was quiet. Very nice breakfast. Weird driveway to get to hotel but no big problems. Would have given 5 stars if not having to wait for someone to come to desk to register me and answer a follow up question later on. I waited for quite awhile both times, called out-no answer, and finally had to ask a cleaning woman to get someone from the back office. Will stay here again.

Arrived a little late around 7pm. The associate at check in was not rude but certainly not friendly? I tried to make small talk as we were using this as a points stay. Once again I was not recognized as a HHonors member or thanked for the stay. The older lady was short with me and my daughter during check in? It costs companies nothing for there staff to be friendly. The room was fairly spacious, with a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was good as was the shower. The halls smelled of smok... This is a great property with very friendly staff! Our room was very large and clean. The free morning breakfast has a whole lot of options for guests of all ages and was very good! On top of everything else the price was GREAT!! We stayed in a king room with free breakfast for less than $100. This was honestly one of the best hotel stays I've ever had and at the best price!

We stayed here on our way to Waco and for a Hampton Inn I was disappointed. The hotel has a weird location and if your not paying attention may miss the road way leading to it. The AC was loud and it was working very hard to keep the room at 75 degrees. There was a huge gap at both the bottom and top of the room entry door. I noticed this on many of the doors walking to our room. It was like the door was cut croaked or something. We had no problem finding parking. Breakfast was good and they had... Read more

Then the next day, I called back to change from a king bed to two queens with a refrigerator. The desk clerk said if I change it, it will raise the rate so she said I will just go ahead and assign you a room! After we planned the dates for our Girl Trip to Waco we found that the Waco Hampton Inn double their rates for Parents Weekend at Baylor so decided to stay in Hillsboro instead. We drove back and forth for shopping. We were all glad we decided to do this. Very nice, clean hotel with super staff. Great shout out to Melissa for excellent service !!!

I have been to some nice Hampton Inns, but this is not one of them. I requested a handicap room that didn't require a lot of walking. They did not have a handicap room available. The hotel was sold out for parents' weekend at Baylor. If you have special requirements you need to check in early via your phone. The hotel room door had a space between the frame, so light & sound came in from the hallway. The breakfast was rather sad. The hotel is merely average. I would not recommend this hotel.

I stayed here twice recently when traveling into Dallas late at night. This Hampton Inn. Helped me break up my travels by stopping and getting a good night's rest before traveling in to Dallas for work. Even though I arrived late. I was warmly greeted. And offered snacks, coffee, tea and bottled water. The hotel is well maintained. And very clean. The bed and linens crisp, clean and comfortable. And. What a bargain! This hotel is my new fav stop heading into Dallas.

Was visiting Baylor during Family Weekend and even 3 months out the Waco area hotels were filling up and expensive based on the demand. I found staying at the Hampton in Hillsboro a good alternative - 30 minute drive to Baylor and a friendly, less crowded, quality hotel (I like Hilton properties generally) at a good price. Staff was friendly and breakfast offerings were good (standard fare). The room was clean and comfortable and I would say in newer shape.

Hotel was what I expected it to be. Staff was a little disappointing at check in. The room was very clean and a note of the housekeeping staff that had cleaned the room was a very nice added touch.
