Very spacious room and comfortable bed. Clean. The room also had a safe. Breakfast (included) was very good, varied and abundant. Good wifi and kind staff. Right on front of the beach. Would visit again.

we came down for the ncaa torney in houston. decided to stay on island for a week as well. this lil affordable room was super clean. the staff are friendly. the breakfast isn't golden corral but it is a good start to the day. you walk a block and you are on the beach chilling and sunbathing. the fishing pier is within walking distance too

We heard about this motel from a colleague who had stayed there in December and mentioned that they offer free cruise parking if you stay there. This is true. I believe only one night is required, but we stayed two, Thursday and Friday night before our Saturday to Saturday cruise. Their room rates Sunday-Thursday are very reasonable (under $50 per night) but this jumps by about $100/nt on weekends. To be fair, I think all of the hotels on the island are priced similarly. Very nice front desk personnel. Rooms are nice. Appear to be updated. I was impressed for the price. Very comfy mattress. And fluffy pillows. Flat screen tv. Lots of hot water. Great water pressure. And they have pet rooms. You can bring your furry friends. For $35. You get $20 back if no damage to room. We brought out crate for the doggies while we were out without then. Only 4 stars because of people up all hours. Talking loud. Slamming doors. Oh... Continental breakfast from 7am... Read more

The map shows the Inn located on a horseshoe drive, it's not. It's off a busy 4 lane road with no sidewalks to get down to the beach area. The room was nice enough for the price, the bed was ok if you like them hard as a rock. There is also a policy of charging your card the same day before you even check in. Make sure you don't want to reserve with one and pay with another.

They took money off my card after they was only told to use it to hold the room & I would pay cash when we got there , when my mom called & told them what I said the dummy at the deck put it as a whole new room which mean we would have 2 room instead of the one room , they told me Priceline messed up but no they didn't it was them & the pool was so small it was already one family in it we wouldn't fit and we didn't want to it was so nasty I will never stay here again only good thing is Priceline... Like something out of a Steinbeck novel. Previous occupants leftovers were still in the fridge. Toilet works periodically. Place smells like an armpit. This joint is a bulldoze and rebuild job. The soap was nice.

Excellent breakfast compared to Gaidos INN. The room is not smelly unlike Gaidos never been shampooed, nasty smelly carpet. Good front desk people unlike Gaidos seaside InN, too old school & rude. The people here will welcome you warmly.???stayed here for a night July 12.

Bathroom was big. Beds were small (queens). Worked for a last minute stay. Dogs barking in another room. You can hear the people getting up early for fishing and beach going. I would recommend this as a last minute stay, but not if you are looking for a great hotel experience. Less than 1 mile from beach.

I had specifically asked for a non smoking room! It was the first thing I noticed when I walked in and then there was a "non smoking" sign at the table... Ironic. The stink of the place woke me out of my sleep! That's how bad it was!

Hotel is a few blocks from beach.... We were staying overnight on the way home from south padre..... Clean, outdated, good customer service... Small pool... Crappy towels.... Would have happily paid $75 ... $165 because it is July was highway robbery.

Went down for the day and decided to stay. Booked using a free reward from another company. It is not luxury or on the beach. Family of 4 (2 kids under 6) traveling on a whim. Front desk attendant was nice, check in easy. Room was average size, had a refrigerator that was clean. The light in the bathroom was dim and the towels were on the sad side but we weren't looking for fancy. Just a place to crash. They have a breakfast that will get you up and running. The area was clean and staff attentiv... Read more

We were looking for budget accommodation for part of our road trip, but unfortunately there??s nothing budget about Galveston in July. This place seemed the most reasonably priced accommodation with a decent location, although it??s a bit care worn and could do with some TLC. It??s a short walk to the beach, but you need to cross a four lane road (there are traffic lights though). The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was fine. Quick check in, friendly s... Read more

My husband and I checked into the Beachcomber Inn yesterday after spending two nights in another hotel on the seawall that was, let's say, not worth the money we paid! We brought our two dogs. At the other hotel they were constantly barking at every little noise they heard. We were up all night with the dogs barking constantly. We had the best nights sleep at the Beachcomber Inn. As a matter of fact, we had to wake the dogs this morning as they were still sleeping. The hotel room is beautiful... Read more
