I stay at Super 8 motels around the country and usually have good experiences. This place strikes me as a very old motel that has become part of the Super 8 chain. But it hardly measures up to the many nice Super 8 motels I've stayed at. As others have noted, my room was disgustingly dirty. I was careful what I was touching and would not take my shoes off in the room. The carpet was filthy. The room had two chairs...one an easy type chair and the other a chair for the desk. The cushions on ... Read more

When checking in, the associate was very friendly. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Patty, the associate when we checked out was extremely friendly. A very good stay and the price was great! We would stay here again--that is always our final assessment.

I've stayed at Super 8's many times and have never had a problem, until this time. When we walked into our room and the carpet was wet and the room smelt really bad, which we could have easily dealt with. But then, we found a bloody bandaid! After telling the front desk, they were apologetic and moved us to another room. In this new room, we found a pair of earrings in the carpet, and when getting ready to leave I saw what appears to be dried blood on the sheets. Housekeeping isn't paying enough... Read more

Smell of room after arrival was just too much. It was horrible. We had to leave door open for over an hour just to breathe. Not sure if it was the cleansers or something else. Also the room had patched up walls Long with the tub. The price I paid was not worthy of me ever staying at this establishment again.

We opened the door to the first room to discover the sheets on the beds had not been changed, trash in bins and dirty towels on floor. We returned to front desk to share our displeasure so he assigned a different room. Once again we found the 2nd room untouched by housekeeping. Appalled!

Door would not unlock 2 out of 3 times every day. TV did not work half of the time. Had to wait hours for someone to come work on it. The last day the door would not unlock and the worker had to kick in the door, breaking the door jam. Thank goodness I was checking out!!

The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a none smoking room. The bathtub was stained which gave the appearance that it was dirty. It looked like they did some patch work to the sheetrock, however, they failed to finish the job by painting the patch. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.

TV remote was not fully functional. Turns out there were supposed to be 2 remotes, not that this was ever noted anywhere. One was missing. Made TV watching difficult. There was one curtain panel in window and it barely covered the window. The curtain rod was definitely for 2 panels. There were primer patches on the walls. One long one (24 inches or so) and 2 smaller ones (6 inches or so). Old looking room. Not new-looking. Dated. For the price, not that impressive.

We stayed here one night and I'm so grateful it was only one. The room was old and dirty. It is in desperate need of updating and deep cleaning. As others have said, the carpet felt slimy under our feet. It was the type of room that you wished you had brought your own pillow and blankets.. We even checked the bed for bed bugs before sitting on it. Would never stay here again.

The rooms where clean and all had 2 Queen beds which impressed me. My wife and I saw just how well they clean there rooms and where pretty amazed to see a hotel go that far for cleanliness. The pool is off to the side in an enclosure the kids had fun I just wish it was covered but they had umbrellas at the tables so I can't complain too much. The staff was lovely and helpful but the facilities need updating. Our bathroom looked clean but had a faint urine odor. There were 2 large white patches on a colored wall over the bed where sconces had been removed. Not just in our room but in our friend's room next door and probably others. There were a total of 3 small round tables for breakfast, crowded into the small lobby.
