Convenient and on main drag through town. Courteous employees and pleasant breakfast. Was perfect for a weekend get away. Main lobby/entry was useful for family card games and watching ball games together. Parking convenient to rooms .

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of the shopping on main street. I was very happy and comfortable staying in this hotel.

This hotel is clean, modern, well managed and guest friendly. Located on the main thoroughfare in town and just a few blocks from everywhere, guests are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Rooms and baths are spic and span and maid service is tops. We had a room at the end of the hallway and heard no sounds. It was like being at home.

I reviewed this exceptional Hampton last year and just wanted to say it is still a great place to stay, good location, grounds, staff, etc. Ask for one of the larger suite rooms on first floor. Great outdoor seating area.

Right on Main Street. Close to restaurants and shops. We got a larger room. The room was nice but our room was on the back side and overlooks the parking lot. The rooms on the front of the building have porches that overlook the street. Breakfast was also pretty decent.

This place is well kept, has great amenities and a good location for walking to resteraunts and shops. The covered pavilion area is spacious in the open air, nice place to relax for a drink and casual conversation. Very nice pool and hot tub area.

Spending a lot of time traveling for business and pleasure, I stay in a lot of Hampton Inn's This is not a location I would come back to. While the outside of the hotel was nice, the experience went downhill when we checked in. It took over 20 minutes of waiting at the front desk for the agent to check us in. She was busy working with someone taking a reservation on the phone and the person had 101 questions. The clerk should have asked them to hold for a moment and given us our keys. We had... Read more

Cute small town with quaint shops and galleries abounding around the hotel. Hotel is very nice with friendly staff and a standard breakfast. Internet service was a bit slow but otherwise a nice property.

Not up to Hilton Hampton Inn Standards. The pool was dirty. Room was large and comfortable, but poorly updated showing holes in the wall where some sort of brackets were removed. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Noise from halls and adjoining rooms was annoying. Desk service seemed indifferent. Will try other hotels next time.

Nice hotel and very well located. Walk to almost everything. A little pricey for a Hampton Inn. Rooms, lobby and pool area all well maintained. Staff friendly. The hotel is quiet at night, no traffic or outside noise. If you are arriving on a Sunday remember only beer and wine is sold in the stores in Texas. In other words bring your own bottle if you drink hard liquor. A few nice restaurants close by. The Mexican restaurant across the street was very good. Some of the bars have live music which... We stayed here 6/6-6/10 and the first two nights were fine. On night 3 I was awoken at 1 AM by the people the floor above. Yall. These people sounded like a herd of elephants having a marching band practice. It was LOUD. It awoke everyone in both of our rooms (226 & 228). This continued until 2 AM, and I decided to call the front desk. Yea, no help. He said he would, "check out the situation." No remedy. I called 2 more times throughout the night and the front desk never picked up my call. A... Read more

The grounds are beautiful. The pool lights up in multiple beautiful colors and has a grotto pass-through with waterfall and a rainfall effect. It has a small slide. Most of the pool, you can expect to merely wade in; it is only 4 ft deep at the base of the slide. The rest of the pool feels like it is designed for toddlers to play in. There are strange, large pieces at random places of the pool bottom...maybe something to cover drains? I don't know but they are several inches thick, so you can be... Read more

We always try to stay at Hampton Inns. We have always had great experiences, until this last time. I wanted to stay here for fathers day because my kids love the pool. Well that was the first disappointment, the pool was nasty. Our room looked like they had just slapped it together before we got there. Did I mention that we were booked into the wrong room? So I had to sleep on a couch for fathers day. I did decide to pull out the couch, The blood stains on the mattress made it very unappealing.

Rooms were large and clean. Very loud, though. I could hear every step the people upstairs took. The hot breakfast was good. They had melon, which is unusual for a hotel "free" breakfast, but for the high price of the room, you ought to get something extra. Summary - extremely pricey, especially for a crappy night's sleep.

The lobby and outside area are amazing. We had a room with a wet bar, two queen beds and a fold out couch. The room size was plenty big enough for 3 people. The room was very clean. We had little issues. For instance, the shower head was off center and the floor was completely wet after showering, even with the curtain closed. The hair dryer blew up after a few minutes of use. The switch plates were missing on two of the outlets. One of the lights was out over the wet bar. Maintenance a... Read more

Loved our Texas Road Trip stayed at several Hamptons during our stay and were happy we did. The downtown area was within walking distance. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. No parking charge and free breakfast that is always a plus that the Hamptons always seem to offer. I like having a customer laundry on the property.

I originally booked the wrong Hampton Inn. Problem was rectified by the generosity and helpfulness of the staff. Room was great but there could have been a little better attention to detail, i.e., sloppy paint. Water pressure and temperature was horrible, but it finally kicked in and all was well. Large bathroom with large shower, but not enough shelves for shampoo, etc. All in all -- good stay, comfortable bed, pleasant staff.

This hotel is at the edge of Fredericksburg on the Main Street, one and a half blocks from the Historic District. It is across the street from 2 good restaurants (Mamacita's and K-Bob's Steakhouse). There is much to see and do within the Historic District and it is walking distance to the Visitors Information Center and 290 Wine Shuttle as well as the National Museum for the Pacific War. The hotel room has very little storage space (3 small metal half drawers behind a table height cupboard d... Read more

Great location to all the attractions in Fredericksburg...on main street close to shopping and convenient to Hill country wineries. Friendly staff and complimentary breakfast. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked awesome! Staff also provided a "travel kit" on my way out which included bottled water and snacks :) I would definitely stay here again!

The pool area was super nice and it is what attracted us to the hotel. Fountains, bridges, a couple of tunnels, and a slide made it most relaxing and fun. It is only 4 ft at it's deepest point, which is great for kids. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and updated with a soothing, spa like feel. The beds were comfortable, the pillows plentiful and plush! Breakfast was great! It is a very clean hotel; the staff does a great job keeping everything neat, tidy, and clea... Read more

I had the pleasure of staying here for one night while in town for a meeting. I was promptly greeted upon check in and was up to my room in no time. The room was very spacious, clean and the A/C was keeping it cool. The bathroom was well appointed with all amenities needed. This property has a very nice pool and the staff is very nice. I will stay here again the next time I'm in town, thank you. Hilton Diamond member.

Nice breakfast. Free coffee good as well. Room 323 looks like some bad remodeling adding tile to the bathroom. see gap ageist the wall and unleveled tiles in front entryway. The pool was real nice but is no deeper than 3 feet.

The pool was really nice, the kids loved the slide. The weather was too warm to enjoy the hot tub. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was nice sized and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could of been a little bigger, but worked well enough for us.

First off I like the Hilton app for checking in and selecting a room. It is a very well maintained Hampton. Very busy as this is a tourist stop. If you want quiet be sure to get a room away from the courtyard where the pool is...noisy. Can't comment on breakfast as we never eat the hotel breakfast unless its the only place to eat and Fredericksburg has plenty of places to eat.

We have stayed that this Inn many times over the years and always enjoy it. We have been able to book a balcony most every visit especially the past 4 or 5 years. It over looks the pool. The colored lights in the pool were not working this visit and the pool area was very dark at night but when they are working it makes for a relaxing setting in the evening after the sun goes down.
