Stayed here after a TCU basketball game so we could be responsible and check out Fort Worth's nightlife. Room was clean and well kept, very similar to Residence Inn's I've stayed at in the past. I slept on the pullout couch and didint even feel like I was ran over by the bus in the am! Not too shabby for a pull out!! Even though there was a cheerleader convention it was still quite and not overrun with people. Check in was slow and paying for parking was kind of a bummer (it's only five bucks ... Read more

You can't go wrong with this choice. Great area, lots of place nearby to eat, in the museum district with some great events. The hotel is warm and comfortable. The rooms, spacious and clean. Pros: good breakfast, good wifi, staff was great, ample parking Cons: near the railroad tracks, so if you are a light sleeper, you may hear the train. Also, the hot water never got really hot. It was warm enough... just not hot.

I spent a lot of time here 3 years ago and couldn't fault it so returned for 3 nights in December 16. The place has had a face lift to bring it up to modern Marriott standards which is nice. The buffet breakfast is decent and the free evening food and drinks Monday to Wednesday is a welcoming touch if you can't be bothered going out in the evening. The rooms are large and include a kitchen. They have also been upgraded and they feel fresh and modern. The location for Fort Worth is perfect. This ... Read more

Stayed at this hotel while visiting family for the holiday. Really clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Especially like the common areas, feels like a much larger hotel. The outdoor area has a fireplace and trees aside from the standard pool and sport court. The area has restaurants and shops within walking distance. Will definitely stay again!

Location was a major factor in opting to stay here. We were not disappointed. It is wonderfully close to lots of good things. Room was clean, nicely furnished, and included a most respectable breakfast. The exercise room is very limited. So don't be surprised if your plans for a run don't materialize as there is one treadmill. Our only 'gripe' was that our reservation confirmation did not indicate the additional fee charged for parking on the premises. Not a big deal. But deserves mention as one... Read more

Great location and reasonably updated rooms are the reason for two stars. But... Upon checking in, I asked about a room upgrade since we are Marriott Gold. I was told NO, the hotel is completely sold out. After pulling up the online availability which showed upgrades WERE available, I was told that the online content is wrong. "Really?" I asked, "but why can I pay for this room online right now but you say it is not available?" He's not sure. "Okay," I say, "may I speak to the manager?" All of... Read more

This is a beautiful property that has wonderful staff. The room was spacious and well appointed. A small kitchen with all of the basics and a full size refrigerator would be very useful, if you were staying for an extended period of time. Can't wait to return and stay longer and do more exploring.

Know that you are paying so much for the location & the Marriott name. I stayed here for one night, $200. The rooms are so small as is the fitness room. It's in serious need of cleaning & updating. My shower wasn't even clean, had soap scum in the soap tray & I was disgusted by an actual shower curtain. People have their dogs with the & while I was waiting for the elevator, a woman came with her huge dog on a leash & I kid you not, the dog started smelling my butt & she just laughed! You pay $5 ... Great location of this Residence Inn. We came here to visit my niece at TCU and were very close to the campus. Lots of good restaurants and definitely in the cultural district; museums and theatres all around. Beautiful Trinity Park is nearby if you want to explore the trails. Room was very nice with a kitchen and bedroom. Bathroom was good size. Free breakfast in the morning is a big plus. They had a great selection to choose from. Train tracks nearby but never heard them at night. Lobby is coz... Read more
