This hotel really is in a great location. Less than 2 miles form Kimbell Museum, minutes from downtown. What I appreciated was the Trinity Park running and biking trail just steps away for a morning jog. I found out it is very close the the botanical garden on my morning run. The free breakfast is the normal although I did like the yogurt and granola cups. It is walking distance to a very pleasant restaurant area around 7th street in the cultural district. Made it nice to be able to walk to a ev... Read more

The Residence Inn - Cultural District in Fort Worth was a great place to stay with a quiet neighborhood, beautiful facilities, and friendly staff. The room is relatively new, attractively decorated, and has a kitchen and other amenities.

This place is a gem. Close to everything you can dream off. Restaurants within walking distance, park is right in front of the hotel, and lots of shopping area. Even though the hotel is next to a railroad track, I didn't hear any train in most of my stay. Check in and out was a breeze, the room was big and clean. Oh, I forgot to mention the fruit drinks they provide in the afternoon when we get back after a long work day is so refreshing. A plate of cookies just another icing on the cake. Brea... Read more

This Residence Inn right in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural district is very nice, modern, clean, friendly staff, great rooms but built right next to train tracks that are used multiple times a day creating some unwanted noise. That being said the trains go by quickly and the noise isn't too bothersome. Perhaps getting a room that digest face the tracks would help...my room did. All in All comfortable rooms and a good location for getting into the city.

The staff were fabulous. They were mist accommodating with early check, transportation to grocery store and shuttle to / work. During 2 major storms they reacted like professionals. The location is within walking distance to park, restaurants and bistros. I would definitely stay here again and again.

When you walk in the hotel smells nice and is clean. I had a suite and it was ok. The bed was very firm and the TV in the bedroom looked like it sat in an old fireplace on a short stand. It wouldn't hurt them to put that on a wall mount so that its easier to see when relaxing in the bed. The air conditioner was also a bit noisy. They offer different things in the evenings from 6-7:30 . One night was grilled chicken, and another they had smores. We didn't go down each evening to see what else they... Read more

booked the room for months ago told them we would be arriving at 10 o'clock at night when we call the day of arrival. We called the day we were to arrive and explained we would be here at 10 o'clock at night when we got to the hotel we were told they were booked completely sold out. But if we were an elite member that wouldn't of happened.

we stayed at this property 5 years ago, going on to state parks in the pan handle of Tx. We used our "free" night to stay here, just hoped it might be as nice as we remembered. This is a glorious property, up scale in every way, we were not disappointed. The associate that really helped us, leaving for Houston,, was Jeff, the front end associate. Gave us some directions and then came over to give us more, as the exit was closed that he first told us to use.. We took advantage of the social ho... Read more

We stayed here in April for a dance convention that was held at Will Rogers. This hotel was clean and spacious. It was quiet and just perfect for our stay. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was delish. It was close to the Will Rogers Center, so our drive was minimal. It was also close to several restaurants.

Enjoyed the new look. It's clean and modern while still comfortable. On a business trip with my husband. There were no studios available two days out so we got a one bedroom, same price. My only, but big complaint is that with renovations the bed is now higher and the flat screen TV remains on a lower cabinet. You have to sit completely up in the bed to see the TV. Management, please put something to raise up the TV, don't overthink it, just put a 6 inch platform between the cabinet and the TV.... Read more

I've never quite had a review like this one. This property was very good except for one thing so let me explain. This is a new hotel located in a great spot near the cultural district just off 7th street in a new and very popular area. It is almost like a boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet spot. My queen bed suite was very comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for families and multiple guests. I saw many families around the property and the pool and outdo... We were looking for a decent place that was close to downtown but not too pricey. We decided on this Residence Inn and we were not disappointed. I is a great location within a quiet high rise apartment neighbor hood only 5 minutes from downtown and the cultural district. Great places to eat are within walking distance. The parking is tight so I would advise getting there early to acquire a place to park. The hallways are so wide and spacious. It is a large property but clean as a whistle. Staff ... Read more

We've stayed at this hotel two other times and found the service and cleanliness of the hotel to be above average. We have noticed that prices have creeped up with our most recent star averaging $300 night over the July 4th weekend. On this stay, we had an issue with getting our room cleaned despite the fact we were out of it by 6:30am. A quick call to the front desk remediated the problem, but it was still annoying to find upon our return at 5pm. We were informed that a card requesting ho... Read more

We recently stayed in the downtown Fort Worth area and we chose the Residence Inn Fort Worth Cultural District due to it's location to several areas of nearby sight-seeing. The hotel was conveniently located to several walking distance restaurants as well as a Target to stock your kitchen if need be. For our down time, we chose to visit the Stockyards and the Sundance Square areas. The room itself was great. Kitchen area well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. Air condition w... We booked this hotel just for a quick night away in cowtown! Walking distance to tons of great restaurants, (mostly local faire, with a few corporate chain places, too) and shopping at Montgomery Plaza. Great quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. Beautiful pool, fabulous breakfast, and the room was like a small apartment, with a full kitchen and completely separate bedroom. Short drive to Stockyards or Sundance Square. This is a newer hotel in a great part of town and is a great place to stay..if you are a heavy sleeper. The hotel is located right next to a rail line that you wouldn't think would be very busy. I've had two stays for a total of 6 nights and I have to say that I've been awoken multiple times each night by passing trains. On this last trip I asked for a room as far away from the tracks as possible and it still woke me up. If you're a heavy sleeper this is a great hotel. If you're a light sleeper ... Read more

So this was our first time for a staycation in FW. We wanted to check out the local scene and decided upon this Residence inn based on the reviews. We didn't realize how close it was to Montgomery Plaza and Chuys. The hotel is build almost like an apt complex - large and spacious and it is situated between two fancy apt buildings. That make it nice and quiet. It was across from a park. We loved being able to walk to Target and the other places close by. The rain made it a little harder for us ... Read more

Will never stay at this Marriott again! Take your business somewhere safer! Used Marriott points to stay one night while seeing friends play at the Magnolia Motor Lounge! So, Marriott front desk employee asked for our credit card for incidentals. We have our credit card set up for text notification on all credit card charges. 10 minutes after getting to our room, my husband exclaims "Marriott just charged us $1380!" The front desk had no idea, no suggestions, didn't offer to do anything--the... Read more

I have been staying at the Residence in on business for a number of months and over all its a great place friendly staff and very nice property, My only real complaint is Management as I believe the small issues I have would not exist with proper guidance from management. These are long term rooms so when someone stays they leave a foot print of sorts, Bathroom drawers are not cleaned between guests , kinda gross when there is toothpaste and hair in drawers from prior guests! and windows are fil... We arrived in the rain and had to dash in. But the lobby was open, bright, beautiful and inviting. The staff were helpful and welcoming, too. The hotel is modern and has a modern boutique hotel feel. Our room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and the full kitchen was so convenient - traveling with food allergies requires that you bring some of your own things to make. Everything we needed was in the kitchen - fully equipped for reheating and prepping full meals. The small sofa area ... Read more

I arrived late last night. There was no parking available. The manager told me to just park on the curb. Park on the curb??? I saw people parking in handicap spaces ( without the handicap stickers) and along clearly marked fire lanes. The manager on duty told me they don't have enough parking when they are sold out!! So safety goes out the window. There is a parking structure next door with parking but they advised me my car could be towed. Seem like if they cared about guests they could arrang... Read more

The renovated rooms are very clean and comfortable, with mild audible hallway noises from other residents that did not create any inconvenience. The rooms have new kitchenettes and sleeper sofas. In my opinion: Dirty and not the quality I would expect from Marriott. Very disappointing experience. We arrived on a Friday night after a long drive and the hotel was out of bottled drinking water and said they would not be getting anymore until Monday. Since we were checking out on Sunday that didn't help us and that meant there would be no bottled drinking water during our stay. Know that you are paying so much for the location & the Marriott name. I stayed here for one night, $200. The rooms are so small as is the fitness room. It's in serious need of cleaning & updating. My shower wasn't even clean, had soap scum in the soap tray & I was disgusted by an actual shower curtain. This is a beautiful property that has wonderful staff. The room was spacious and well appointed. A small kitchen with all of the basics and a full size refrigerator would be very useful, if you were staying for an extended period of time. Can't wait to return and stay longer and do more exploring.
