The Hilton Fort Worth is the complete package when staying in down town Fort Worth. While showcasing the Historic nature of this hotel, you also experience the swanky/upscale with a touch of Fort Worth "flare" when you stay here. The rooms are newly updated. They keep the historic feel while adding that modern/swanky feel. The staff is top of the line. Overall, I thought this was a fantastic property, and located in a fantastic area. Although I didn't prefer some of the property's layout (fitness center), I will attribute that to it being a historical landmark, and unable to change. I loved that JFK stayed here, and that this property pushes it.

The Hilton Fort Worth is an amazing hotel that feels more like coming home than traveling to a new place. The staff is warm and genuine and the hotel is steeped in history. As far as location, you cannot do better as the hotel is walkable to many restaurants, lounges and other "to-do's" and you can also hop on the city trolley right outside the front door. My wife and I stayed at the Fort Worth HILTON after attending a friend's wedding. This is a very nice hotel and the staff is excellent. Our corner room on th 8th floor was very clean, tidy and spacious. Valet parking is not cheap, but well worth using. Don't miss out on the buffet breakfast with individually made omelettes reasonably priced. The staff stood out being friendly and helpful. Larry & Kelly, Georgetown, TX

During the last week of April, I stayed at the hotel for a 2-day conference: it was the recommended conference hotel. The hotel room and staff were nice (a 4 rating); the in-house Starbucks was fast but ran out of food options probably due to the conference attendee numbers (a 3 rating); the hotel and lobby were clean (a 4 rating); the valet service was untrustworthy (a negative 5); and the handling of my complaint disappointing (a 0 rating). Really great location in the centre of the city. Papa Mike at front desk is really great for tips to eat. This was the hotel where JFK spend his last night - room 805 but it no longer exists. Across the road there is a small memorial to JFK. You can get to Dallas via train $10)& the Texas Book Depository Museum entry $15 where you can see where JFK was alledgely shot by Lee Harvey Oswald (fascinating tour)

This Hilton is in a perfect location in Fort Worth. A block from the convention center & and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel is tastefully done and pays a great tribute to JFK. The only thing good about this hotel was the staff... The rooms are old the lobby is run down and it just needs a makeover... I had an interior room that looked over the lobby. I have to say that the rooms are a nice size but they just feel cheap and dirty.. When I was showering this morning the water kept loosing pressure and then would come back. All in all I would say if there is another hotel close by I would choose that hotel.

This was one of the best stays I have had on a business trip. The hotel is perfectly located in the down town business area. Walking distance to everything you could possible need. The staff was very helpful with any questions or recommendations for a nice dinner. One of the shortest wait times I have experienced for the valet to get my car. Outstanding hotel and services.

Nice hotel but little charges add up. $26 for parking per day, executive club charges for alcoholic drinks which is not normally standard for most hiltons I've stayed in. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff very friendly too.

Surprised to realize upon arrival that this former Hotel Texas was the last place President Kennedy with his wife Jackie, slept before the motorcade departed to Dallas on November 22, 1963 taking with it the remnants of a more innocent period of our national history. A sad memory realized on another momentous day September 11; it was a beautiful sunny comfortable fall day as history marches on. Our room was on the 12th floor and had a city view....the windows needed cleaning but otherwise Ok.

Perfect Hotel in a perfect location with a touch of history, as JFK spent his last night here. We had a spacious corner room for two nights. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, especially our waiter at breakfast. Parking is valet only and everything went as smooth as we are used to with Hilton! If we ever come back to that wonderful city, we will definitely stay here again!

Located just across from the convention center, hotel is perfect for a downtown visit. Nice restaurants are within walking distance with Ruth's Chris in the hotel and Del Frisco's across the street. Hotel is nice and has been updated. As my wife and I are sensitive to smoke, we could tell that this was a former smoking hotel although it is a non-smoking property now. Hotel also carries a bit of history as it was where John F Kennedy spent the night before his fateful visit to Dallas.

The downtown Hilton in Fort Worth is a beautiful, historic hotel with top notch staff. My room was very large, and I did not upgrade to a suite or a special room. It was just a king room. Having the music playing when I arrived was a nice touch. The location is perfect because I was attending an event at the convention center, and there are many restaurants and things to see within easy walking distance. If you didn't know that (and I did), you will be reminded of the fact everywhere you turn. I don't know--maybe there are assassination history buffs that feel that spending a night here is a must for that reason, but I think they could stand to pare back the history connection just a tad. This is a very nice Hilton Hotel, and extremely convenient if you are attending an event at the Convention Center across the street. Great location and we were able to walk everywhere we were going in downtown Forth Worth including Sundance Square, dinner and Bass Performance Hall. Only somewhat negative with the location was no self parking and valet charge of $26 per night. Room rate was reasonable, but when parking is added, makes it average.

Hilton Ft Worth is like home away from home. We are "home" once a year for a conference at the Ft Worth Convention center, so the location is walking distance away. Always excellent food at the restaurant - of course we took the time to meet the restaurant staff. We valet our car for the week not being baked in the sun. Internet is good - important as we are senior aged students. And, perhaps a bit more touch of class than the newer hotels in the area.

Was looking forward to staying here as the name is so well known ... the vallet lads were lovely ... efficient ... polite ... the reception team also to me were faultless but in general the room was basic ... housekeeping was at best ok .. i was only staying 2 nights ... and i hate a fuss ... if my stay was longer i would have brought the lack of a proper cleaning in the room to the attention of management .... it wasnt what i was expecting from a hotel of this name ....
