I had several events to attend and just needed a nice place to relax at the end of the day. The staff was pleasant, The in house dining was excellent, and the bar was left nothing to desire. My stay was very good. I had no issues and all was as you would expect from a top tier hotel chain.

Staying downtown El Paso TX was so FUN and very convenient to all the activities we had planned for this long weekend celebration (Fri - Sun). We were able to safely walk to all our destinations. The DoubleTree was perfect except for the denial of late check out so we could eat brunch there after sleeping in. Must get late check out request in at time of reservation whether you need it or not!

Great hotel, great staff, with the exception of the lack of hot water and parking on Saturday night we enjoyed our stay. The water in the shower was lukewarm I asked the staff to check on it but it never got hot. There was an event downtown on Saturday night so they used the hotel parking lot doubled as the event parking lot we couldn't find parking. I think that they should have ensured that there was parking for hotel guests.

Always good to get back to the Double-Tree Hotel in El Paso, and it's not just the cookies that the lovely front desk personnel offer very liberally throughout my stay. Whether it's getting my food considerations and requests handled with a smile, or the extra towels delivered quickly, or a listing of movie offerings at local theatres, I'm delighted by the responsiveness of the Doubletree staff. Also the beds are comfy and I appreciate that when I turn in after a long day of business.

The staff is great, the hotel is clean, the waiters are inattentive and slothful, there are no refrigerators. The waiters in the dining room are inattentive to you once you sit down. Check-in went without a hitch although the parking situation is a bit odd. You can literally get stuck in lobby if you do not have your key card. (2 elevators go from 7th floor up and one does first floor and up but if you are in lobby and the other two elevators are on a floor, the only door that opens is the 7th up).
