Mickey has always been very kind and genuine in trying to make me feel at home. Even though I'm there on business frequently, her outgoing bubbly personality makes you feel like your at home. Would recommend this hotel to all who want to feel at home in a very isolated place.

The staff was attentive and friendly, they had a free beer/wine evening when I was there, room and bath areas very clean, beds very comfortable, parking is good, it is off main highway but no noise in hotel, one problem is the A/C, you can't just put the fan on thus it goes on and off all night, may be eco friendly but not sleep friendly

The room was outstanding, as it always is at Hampton Inn. However, what really made the difference was, after a very long day of driving, we were offerred complimentary beer and wine from 7PM-9PM. What a great way to relax. Thank you, Hampton Inn!!

Great hotel, all the above positives. The only negative would be the refrigerator that hums. No problem, just unplug it. We have stayed here the last two years and will again next year. It meets our needs, clean, new and nice.

We chose this hotel for it's location. It's the halfway point on our trip between Texas and Colorado. We also enjoy their breakfast. It's a lot better than most continental breakfasts in the same area.

Just on the edge of town by the new Walmart. Very nice hotel, newer rooms, sliding glass door shower no tub which is always nice, very clean location. Staff was very nice. Only complaint is you couldn't turn the fan on constant so you hear everything going on in the hotel. Walls are thin so if your a light sleeper this is a big downside to the hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. I would stay again without question.

We've had 2 great stays here after being accosted by individuals wanting money in the parking lot in 2 separate hotels in Amarillo! Calm...Secure...Clean...Friendly!

Will not stay at this hotel ever again! We asked about the hot tub and all they said was it was broke!! Didn't tell us if they had contacted someone to come out and fix it or not just that it was broke.

I was surprised the hotel was seven years old. It was clean, updated and well taken care of. The room had a fridge and microwave. The breakfast was extensive: eggs, meat and potatoes. There were several types of cut fruit and several muffins and pastries. There was also yogurt and waffles you could make. I would definitely return on a future trip through the area.

We were passing through Dumas and selected the Hampton based on reviews and the recommendation of a relative who had stayed there before. Their experience had been positive and so was ours. The property was well kept, but having the coffee maker in the BATHROOM within about 6 feet of the toilet is just plain gross... is this even allowed by local health codes? I normally travel with my small dog but went solo allowing me to stay at the Hampton Inn. By far it is the best place in Dumas, it was clean, Checkin was friendly. They could use more luggage carts, but I did get a room on the first floor. Doors slamming and people walking in the room above were noisy, but overall it was a pleasant stay. While the person on the front desk suggest the K-Bob's next door to the hotel it's reviews didn't match his recommendation so we skipped it and went somewhere else for dinner. This is one of the best hotel options for small towns in the Texas Panhandle. It is relatively new, nice, and clean. The hotel is also consistently only 10K Hilton honors points per night, making it a great reward value.
