Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The concierge and valet guys were excellent, breakfast was adequate but limited. The business centre was below average however and the hotel staff struggled to help me with basic IT connectivity and printing. The hotel is well located for Dealey Plaza and downtown. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the hotel was generally clean

I was actually in Dallas for Wrestlemania and I wish we had stayed here the entire week ... we did a package deal - and that meant we had to stay in a place of are own choosing for any days not covered by the package. So it is a bummer that this hotel does not have a restaurant or bar (which is odd for Garden Inns)? The location is surrounded by restaurants and the downtown location puts you in easy access of everything. Sadly this also means downtown after hours everything closes up early s... Read more

This was my second trip to this hotel and it met all of my expectations once again! Very clean and roomy. We stayed for 2 nights, the second day we asked for extra towels then proceeded to go out and grab some lunch. When we arrived our room had been cleaned with beds made and lots of extra towels had been placed in the bathroom. I will and have recommended staying at this hotel.

This is a new hotel in downtown Dallas and is in a convenient location. Since it was new my cab driver from Love had a hard time locating it so we drove around the block several times. I arrived late in the evening and check-in was smooth and quick. Once I got to my room it was very spacious and modern. The bathroom was large as well with a large walk-in shower. There were some downfalls though... The bed was not very comfortable and the linens were very stiff/rough so I did not get a good ... Read more

I pre-checked into my room with the time of arrival for 3pm. However, upon arrival I was told my room wasn't clean and given a different. This was a complete let down as I had booked a room on the the heightest floor available because that's my wife's preference and I surprised her and drove 4 hours from San Antonio to attend a concert for an artist she loves. We were given a room 3 floors lower then expected (which isn't bad) and I was told it was an upgraded room but It was the same room I'd bo... Was in Dallas visiting friends for weekend & booked in here at last minute. There was a game in town so lots of places were booked out. While in a really handy location, being in middle of city, the hotel is in need of a renovation. The lobby was nice enough, but the room was pretty tired. I didn't use any of the facilities, so can't comment about these. Seems like there is a lot more life outside the city, so be sure to check out different places while in town

The hotel was just ok The breakfast buffet was a shambles with very little seating The staff at the counter where inconsistent and we where given the wrong directions a couple of time when going site seeing this wouldn't have been so bad for the fact it was around 36o out. I have stayed at a few of this chains and they have only been open for a while. It would have been nice if they had a bar or resteraunt

This is a very nice hotel. It was built in 2013. The rooms looked very nice and clean. It was a nice view of the river. We liked the under garage parking. The crave restaurant served a great supper and breakfast. Our only negative was the neighborhood around the hotel didn't seem very safe to venture out to.

Nice hotel. I attended a family reunion there. We had 250 people and the hotel was able to accomodate us. We were unable to have our banquet at the original location in downtown Dallas due to the tragedy on July7. The hotel allowed use to use their banquet rooms and bring in our own meal.

The hotel here is what you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. It has nice rooms, cookies out front, a small pool, and it's reasonably priced. The downtown location isn't bad, either. It's a short walk to the Arts District where there are museums and outdoor displays. If you're looking for nightlife, shopping, or restaurants, however, forget staying downtown. Great hotel, but no coffee or continental breakfast. Perfect location for restaurants and bars. We stayed here to go to the UT/OU football game. We each paid $5 for an all day pass to ride the tram which was half a block down the road. Strongly suggest the Mexican Chop house a block away.

This Hilton Garden is in the heart of downtown Dallas, very close to everything. It has nice new rooms and once you find it, the Hilton Gardens is a great place to stay. With some improved signage, this will be a great hotel-very modern facilities and the staff was very friendly. It is in walking distance to many things so staying here is great for meetings and conventions in Dallas. It was actually very quiet the night I stayed.

The hotel staff are good, the location near downtown Dallas. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the airconditioning is super. The hotel is well located quite close to the Convention Center and the lobby are very tasteful for a modern design.

New hotel and it shows! The room was HUGE. I was very surprised how large it was, especially since I think the building itself is older. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it had a great view of downtown. The only downside is parking is valet only.

Hotel is adequate for a downtown hotel however the layout is difficult. Location was understaffed untrained and very unhelpful. Worst staff experience I've ever had in a Hilton and I have been a diamond member for years. I would avoid this hotel

I would like to thank front desk staff of Hilton Garden Inn Dallas downtown for their assistance. Especially, Miss Potter who went extra mile to help us solve the problem with payment for our room through Expedia. She was friendly, eager to help, and patience in dealing both with us and with Expedia. Keep up good work, girls!

I am a Hilton honor member so I tend to stick with Hilton. We came to dallas for a 4 day weekend. We choose downtown dallas because we have never been before and thought downtown location would be nice. It was convenient in the sense that it was central to all the neighborhoods however it wasn't conveniently walking distance and we had to Lyft everywhere. The area around hotel wasn't great. A lot of homeless hanging out. The hotel itself was very nice. Very clean. Very spacious.

This is a fairly new downtown Dallas hotel and it definitely hits the mark. It's convenient to everything, nicely appointed amenities and very spacious rooms. The gym is nice, too big but not to small and the pool are is beautiful. The restaurant is a bit pricey.

It would be nice if they emailed me in advance that they were oversold. Instead I came in from airport at 11:30 pm and stood there while the night auditor called around. I booked this hotel so that would be in walking distance to a conference. They sent me to a distant, inferior hotel. I find it hard to believe with today's technology that they oversold to begin with, after all they took my credit card at the time of the reservation and no doubt would have billed me if I failed to show up. The room was very spacious and clean. The windows are very large and bring light into the room. The two double beds filled the room. The negative was that the bedroom was open into the bathroom. However other rooms have different configurations. The doormen and desk clerk were very professional. The desk clerk remembered me from prior visits and made me feel at home.

My stay in this place was very nice overall. Rooms were clean, comfortable, had everything one would need to feel at home. I got a chance to use the Fitness center, good equipment, fresh towels, even headphones! Lobby is magnificent, elevators are just neat, allow to choose your level even before cab arrives. I liked the Restaurant, although the breakfast menu is somewhat lacking the regular breakfast items, more simple ones, and is very very pricey. I had to opt for pharmacy bought cereals and ... The hotel was convenient to downtown and staff gave me instructions for setting my GPS to more easily find it. Very clean and quiet and staff friendly which made the stay pleasant. The only negative marks is we were told breakfast chits would be supplied for everyone in the room but when we got there we were told only one per room. They did honor what they told us on the phone. Breakfast was very good but no one liked the grits.

I booked the hotel as I had to be 3 days in the Convention Center. The hotel is just to far, but with Uber, it is easy to manage. The hotel is a bit hidden if you come from Elm Street and sometimes difficult to find if entering on Pacific Street. People are nice, but the hotel lobby is without life and not a real hotel, more the entrance of an office. The rooms are great and large, but the airco makes to much noise and blows too hard. Irritating. The Swimming pool is nice and ok. Wifi is good a... Read more

This hotel was conveniently located downtown and right next to the transit train. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We disliked having to pay $30 per day for parking and having to use valet service every time we wanted to use our car.

no concierge or anyone to help with bags to and from room, no room service and restaurant and bar only open at night. Very limited menu and no menus in rooms so you have to go to restaurant to look at menu. Downtown location is great but I dont recommend staying here unless you are only looking for a place to sleep in which case you can find hotel for less. Beds are not very comfortable

Don't recommend staying here. Valet parking only, short staffed at front desk and valet, rude management, and downtown is dead at night and difficult to get in/out of. Unless you have meetings next door, go elsewhere. Plus, my stay was filled with unfortunate and avoidable frustrations: 1. Valet - the hotel does not have its own parking garage and is valet only. There is only one valet person working at night so when you call to retreive your car, he/she usually doesn't pick up. It took me 15 mi... Read more

Staying for a few nights. Have stayed at multiple Hilton Garden Inns and always enjoyed them. However, the hotel informed guests a day ago that there would be no water from 2 am to 8 am. It is now after 9 am and there is still no water and hotel desk is very unhelpful saying they are sorry for inconvenience but they are inconvenienced too. Really? The difference is that I am paying for a room and don't think it is unreasonable to want to brush my teeth, take a shower or flush a toilet. I am now... Read more

I stayed at this hotel on 11/12/2016. I drove up with my 1 year old granddaughter having thrown up all over herself and her carseat 5 minutes before I pulled in valet. The quickly got towels and helped me tremendously. I had to leave for an appointment so I rushed up to the room, gave her a quick bath and came back down. The valet, once again, assisted me by finding out 2 companies that deliver carseats to hotels. The valet manager, Raul, and all of the staff in the valet, were simply amazin... Read more

The front desk gave outstanding service, my room was beautiful with a great view, and I had an excellent dinner in the new restaurant. I walked to upscale shopping across the street - so this business trip was a really nice overall experience!! I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Not very organized and not cleanily in the rooms and they never restock your room with coffee or shampoo. Breakfast for 2 people is at least $40 to $60 bucks and coffee is $4 and a bottle of water is $3. As a honors member we do not receive anything special here like we do in Houston. Ill stay someplace else the next time i return to Dallas.

I was so happy when I arrived... they were able to give me an early check in. They also had a very clean pack and play available for my baby. The reason I gave four instead of 5 stars for the review was the lack of jacuzzi and unheated pool(although it was beautiful)...as well as the extra fee for parking. The hotel was very walkable to city places. We walked to the science museum(but it was a little far and sidewalks in the city were under construction. The restaurant in the hotel was great we ... Pretty spacious rooms, great price for the location, rooftop pool!! Very clean... the only thing is that since it is downtown a lot of stores were closed on Saturdays and Sundays...I went to get Starbucks on a Sunday and it was closed because it was in the business district...which isn't the hotels fault... just the area... Great Hotel and will definitely be staying again when I return to Dallas!!
