Air conditioning seemed to be working but not adjustable so we could never get the temperature to go below 76. Came back to he room late that night and the room was super hot with no recourse other than spending 45 minutes contacting someone, packing up, and changing rooms to go to another room that would have need to cool off. Very unfortunate for the price we pao for sleeping there for 6 hours.

The Highland was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service was over the top excellent from valet, concierge, check-in, bar/restaurant service and check-out. The room was incredible - bed was extremely comfortable and bedding amazing. Will definitely stay again.

A great place to stay with a great interior design. We didn't get to use many of the amenities but everything was nice. The room was clean and the bed was easily one of the more comfortable I've slept in at a hotel. The staff were very helpful when it came to finding somewhere to eat. Parking was a bit of an issue and valet for one night was about $30.

This was my 1st visit, celebrating our anniversary, so impressed the best service from the time we arrived, we didn't have to touch a door, Nolan at front desk was a sweet heart, they took our bags to the room. They had fresh berry infused water in lobby. This is def a 5 star hotel, very cute boutique hotel and the room was so modern and chic! Loved it!!!

We found The Highland-Dallas to be a private, posh environment for those who want privacy and the convenience of a property location near The Park Cities in Dallas. The higher level suite we occupied was an excellent corner location with a view of the Dallas City skyline and a view of the southwest. The bed was excellent with a comfortable and supportive mattress with high quality bedding. The bathroom was pristine, oversized and functional. The shower was exceptional. The furnishings in the... This hotel is an outstandingly beautiful place, with lots of extra touches: super soft bathrobes, cold raspberry/citrus water in the lobby and a huge screen TV in the room. The valet parking fee is steep, but I understand that parking is dear in that part of town. Staff was very friendly and the beds were great with oh-so-wonderful white sheets.

Loved the Highland. Fresh and clean from lobby to hotel rooms! Excellent staff and facilities. Food was incredible and will plan on staying at the Highland again. The Bellmen were so helpful and upbeat even after making several trips to move luggage and car. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This hotel was extremely beautiful and the staff was great! Valet was quick and efficient and very friendly. The only downside was that the bathrooms had barn doors that had no locks. Other than that one small thing, 5/5!

I decided to try something different while staying in Dallas on business. This Curio collection hotel by Hilton was a great find. Lovely sophisticated lobby. Attentive details. The rooms were comfortable. The hotel keeps up the ambiance with turn down service that creates a lovely mood with the incredible wide screen TV mounted on a fabric covered wall at the end of the bed. The Highland is in a wonderful location for anyone accessing Downtown, Park Cities, Lower Greenville, or shopping at Northpark Mall. The amenities were quite nice. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The pool was clean and well tended. The overall "vibe" definitely skewed adult, and there were guests whose behavior around our teenage daughters was ill-mannered, but that was no fault of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a great value for a luxury hotel. The staff is very professional, the room is modern and clean. The bed is very comfortable. It is close to many great restaurants but has a great restaurant writhing its premise: Knife. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I dave my 5 stars for places like the Four Seasons in Denver and Viceroy in Snowmass.

Expecting a lot from one of Hilton's Curio hotels, we were terribly disappointed with the stay. The room was nice, well-maintained and clean. I've stayed at The Highland a few times, when it was the old Palomar and since it was bought by Hilton and became The Highland. It really didn't change during the transition much and still offers good service, convenient location and a lively bar scene. It's mostly a business crowd mingled with the affluent residents who own condos on the other half of the property. They have a high profile restaurant on site with Chef John Tesar at the helm. This hotel is all about serving their customers. They greet you at the door. They have the most helpful and pleasant staff that I have ever been served by. This is a very lovely property. Everything is on trend and very well maintained. Very comfy beds. Very beautiful pool area. There were pitchers of water with raspberries in it. I don't know what this was before Hilton took it over, but it's a nicely decorated hotel, staff seems nice, but the location is very odd. Just off the min road next to strip mall city and at night it can be a little hard to find. The gym was very nice and they have a spa as well, the breakfast was attached with the steakhouse they have, it was ok. This is not a new building by any means but Hilton through their Curio collection renovated the interior, and they did a great job. Rooms are well appointed and location is convenient to Bush Museum and Northpark Center. Downtown was only 6 miles on quick moving freeways so it fit our needs well. Wonderful atmosphere and the food was excellent. Be prepared to spend a lot though. Location and cleanliness can't be beat, but please don't judge Texas based on the decor. As a Yankee convert to Dallas I know there is much to love about Texas, but these rooms are decorated with the intent to promote negative stereotypes - including a life sized image of a heavily armed cowgirl on the window shade in the room. Freaked out my daughter, and even creepy to me
