The Adolphus Hotel is absolutely the finest hotel I have stayed in in a long time. It is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. I even loved the elevator. It was all beautiful wood and mirrors. Wow! We called for someone to come up and open our bottle of wine and they were there in minutes! What great service. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a top notch experience.

I am disappointed ) stars is not an option. To make a very, very, very long story short, despite more than 3.5 hours of effort, problems with the Adolphus mobile site, trying to make the reservation through Marriott {which has a reservations page for the Adolphus that does not work} multiple conferences with the reservation staff both at the hotel and their multi hotel reservation staff, conference with an assistant manager at the hotel, the reservation office being closed during posted hours... Arrived and was greeted by the valet who was extra helpful and walked into the lobby where the front desk was very welcoming. Got an extra large room with great amenities and this hotel is now my number one choice when I visit downtown Dallas. And fairly priced.

This is a comfortable room for two people. I would suggest to get a high floor. We stayed on 22 (23 is the top or the penthouse) facing North which overlooked a few rooftops with pools. Very quiet - we stayed at far end of the hallway away from the elevators. Mattress, pillows, and comforter were all great. The living room portion has a comfortable couch but no window and it is separated from the bed by a wall. The room has two TVs which was a nice a touch. Bathrooms have Kohler fixtures and... This is an exceptional hotel. I have stayed at the Alolphus Hotel over the past 4 decades. The great service is from exceptional staff. The valet parking is a must and of the highest quality. We stayed during a political meeting held at the Convention Center. The Adolphus is a great quiet location located near the Convention Center.

What a lovely elegant hotel in the heart of Dallas. Perfectly situated for sightseeing and everything within walking distance. Lovely staff who even helped with delivering my lost luggage the minute it arrived.

The hotel is wonderful for romantic occasions. The lobby, facade and elevators are original. For example, the wood paneling in the lobby and the elevators seemed original and they had a display of all the original room keys at the front desk. We had a great suite with King Bedroom, Sitting Room and Bath. Everything was updated and modern, and there was a mini-fridge for our drinks. Very well designed shower and large fluffy towels, great furniture, lamps, etc. Easy walk to nearby Dallas sites (D... Read more

For a hotel with so much history it had a great combination of that history with all of it's elegance, along with a newly updated modern feel. The lobby and lounging areas were very welcoming and showcasing some of the hotel's history and previous guest who have stayed. My room was very spacious and recently updated. It is a clean hotel with helpful staff, and located well in the downtown area with so many places to see in do all within walking distance. Overall, a great hotel blending the old a... Read more

My daughter & I stayed at the Adolphus for two nights to attend a fan expo. The staff was extremely helpful & friendly at every interaction. There is shopping & dining within walking distance of the hotel & we were able to walk to the convention center as well. The room itself was very spacious, clean, & comfortable. Very charming overall & I would recommend to others as well as book again in the future.

The Adolphus Hotel was a pleasure. Our room was completely updated and very comfortable. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. The valet parking folks were really jumping total care of our car. The Rodeo Bar & Grill has a great breakfast. We visited Dealey Plaza and The Historic West End which are a short walk away. It is also a very quite hotel.

Renovation is ongoing. While this doesn't mean you won't love staying here, it does mean that some things are missing!! The lobby furniture is for sale, the bar stools have already been sold and the restaurant is now closed. I'm sure that the changes will be fabulous when completed though. There will be a pool too. We stayed on the 20th floor and our room was really spacious and the beds were wonderful. Great staff also - especially Hannah from reception and Cosme (who makes the best Cosmo). I... Read more

We stayed for two nights in a newly renovated king suite. The suite was unusually large. Beautiful plush bed, cutting edge sliding shower, makeup chair & desk, lounge area, magnify mirror and closet. It was a modern feel which was a little disappointing because I love the old world beauty of the lobby - but the room was comfortable. The French room restaurant was closed for renovations - so no tea time in the lobby like stated. Starbucks is across the street. Their is a casual Cowboy bar in the ... Read more

My wife and I stayed here on our 37th wedding anniversary. we were treated like royalty. When we arrived we were handed an envelope, there was a letter inside from the hotel wishing us a wonderful anniversary. When we arrived in our room we found complimentary Champaign and snacks. The room was excellent with a sitting area and two windows with a very nice view. There was some upgrades going on, but it was easily overlooked by the grandness of this hotel. I strongly recommend staying here.... Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was beautiful and extremely spacious, bigger than I was expecting. The location was perfect and the staff were all very polite and friendly. The hotel is currently under going renovations but it wasn't an inconvenience to us at all. I would stay here again.
