During our stay in Dallas we mostly dined at the hotel restaurant. Whilel the food was exceptionally tasty the main ingredient was our waiter Cedric. When working with the public is very important to be a people pleaser ~ especially in the hospitality industry. Cedric is exactly that - a people pleaser. Each time he waited on us he went beyond the call of duty. For that reason I will continue to stay at this hotel each time I stay in Dallas. Cedric ROCKS!

We ordered 2 nights at the Sheraton via Hotwire at good value. Then, a few months later, we added a night via the hotels own website - a Junior St. at the club level floors, which means incl. lounge and internet. When we arrived they upgraded us to the Junior St. for all three nights. Obviously we are fully satisfied. 5 stars all the way through.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas. Wonderful room. They accommodated my need for quiet by giving me a room on the 19th floor away from the elevators. I saw no one else on the floor during my stay. Absolute quiet & wonderful. There was an issue with breakfast - overcharged for toast. But they took care of the entire problem and remedied it.

First thing to note is there is not much directly around the hotel as far as other food choices. You get locked into their restaurants and bar where the service is slow on a good day. The room decor is nice but beds have low spots and TV's are old with no direct HDMI input. They do have converter boxes that didn't work. The club lounge rooms don't have refrigerators. I found it interesting looking at the white linens seeing different shades of white. The rooms where clean just some linens wher... Read more

Was here for a conference and was really impressed with this hotel. Luxurious, big lobby. Check-in process was friendly & fast. My room was large with a great bed. Everything looked good and worked perfectly. Located right on the trolley line so getting around to museums & places to eat was no problem. I note some other reviews saying there's not much around, but I used to work in downtown Dallas so am familiar with the area and it was no problem for me. I suggest you ask the concierge for sugge... This is the largest hotel in Texas, at just over 1800 rooms located within 3 towers (30+ stories each) and attached to the convention center. The beds are quite comfy, as Sheraton's are known for. The gym in this hotel was MASSIVE!!! It was VERY impressive!!! The largest gym I've ever seen at a hotel and it even rivals your local gym and it's included in the stay - Whatta Bargain!! It has everything for strength and cardio training; LifeFitness, Hammer Strength, Dumbells up to 100lbs, free w... Read more

I stayed here for my training with Southwest airlines. It was a lovely hotel. Close walking distance to a lot of interesting places. The kitchen was superb! I had SEVERAL favorites with Cedric being at the top of my list. Thank you so much. Erika & Carlos a close second. Enrique at the concierge desk was more than helpful. All in all it was a nice stay in Dallas

We arrived at the hotel before our check-in time and they swiftly checked us in without hesitation. All the staff in lobby were fun and made us feel welcomed. As a member of the rewards program we were given club level and that is where our trip went from great to amazing. As soon as we walked in the door Shantell Webster made us feel at home and left my friends and I not wanting to even leave. She was attentive to everyone in the club, while still making us feel like M.V.P.'s. I will be returni... Read more

Beautiful hotel in a great location right downtown. I don't know the area, since we were in town just for a family graduation, but it is right off a freeway. The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. I don't know if the price was reasonable or not, since my Granddaughter works for the parent company and we had an employee rate. We were on the 32nd floor and the views were great. We used the very comfortable club lounge and the complimentary continental breakfast, Starbucks coffee machine and... Read more

I stayed at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for three nights while in the area on business, and very much enjoyed my stay. I stayed in an Executive Suite (room 1580, North Tower) which was perfectly appointed. Elevators are fast and efficient for such a large property. I ordered room service one night following a late meeting, and service was extremely quick. The food itself is highly recommended! Room amenities were standard for Sheraton, including their great Sweet Sleeper beds. I also appreci... Read more

It's not because there was anything so extraordinary about the hotel that I give it four stars, but it's very decent all around, no flaw, clean, great location, friendly staff, and the price is right. I really enjoy when the big hotel chains aren't gouging, gives me an ounce of faith in America (probably unwarranted), but regardless of the reason, praise for this place, comfortable, convenient, civil, and a good value.

We got the club level access during our stay, and the staff is AMAZING! Ron & Teika & the other girl (terribly sorry I do not remember her name!) were all so kind, down to earth, and helpful! They were all happy to offer a conversation and went above & beyond to serve us our drinks and food! Ron is awesome, very helpful in telling me all the information about things to do around Dallas, an Teika was into Comics like us, as we were there for the comic convention, she even was nice enough to share... The hotel is very centrally located and the service during check in is very good. Rooms are very big, but old. The breakfast at the Executive lounge really sucks!!! just 2-3 options of fruits, some yogurts and thats it! seriously bad!!! The restaurants downstairs seem to have good menus but they close the kitchen really early, at 11pm, every day of the week and room service is over at 11pm as well. That just does not work in a hotel! it just doesn't.

I stayed here multiple times during my business trips to Dallas. We had an awesome corporate rate, but the rooms are getting really long in the tooth. The gym is superb, and one of the best equipped that I've seen. The executive lounge is a nice size, and has snacks most of the time. I did not try any of the restaurant options there.

Stayed here for work for 3 weeks. The restaurant was decent. The hotel was super crowded. The elevators worked sometimes. Very slow elevators. Noise in the hallway was above average. Beds were average, nothing special. It has a central location. My company was paying the bill otherwise I would have selected a higher quality hotel.

It's a regular room with a windowless living room in a second room. We never sat in it once. C'mon #Sheraton, as a SPG Gold member, we expect better.

This hotel was a disappointment. The hotel itself is dated. Service in the bar was very slow and impersonal. Service at the concierge desk was not very helpful. The wifi in the hotel was spotty at best. Restaurant was just okay. Not at all what I was expecting from this hotel. Had to be here for business but, next time would choose to stay off site if business meeting are here.

I stayed at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for 4 nights in November for business. The hotel is huge. I was told by the receptionist that this Sheraton is the 2nd largest in the world, only 2nd to a hotel in Beijing. Though there were a significant number of individuals checking in, the line moved swiftly and efficiently. The hotel had multiple towers and elevators, but the hotel staff did a nice of job of explain exactly how to get around. The hotel room was extremely spacious. Though I was tra... Read more

Our Suite was on the Club Floor. Although a little dated and dusty the large room more than made up for the lack of glitz. We used the pool which was smallish for a hotel this size but adequate. Attended a trade show at the adjacent space for several days and found location to be a suitable choice. The proximity to the site made it ideal but I don't think I would seek out this site for any other reason. Staff was pleasant, professional and accommodating. Rooms were sadly tired. Makeup mirrors were like a circus fun house and nothing else was offered by housekeeping. Rooms were dark. So stay if you must for business.

Chose this place for the location ! Stayed in their suite since all rooms were sold out for the convention. The suite was big and had a lovely view. The toilet was clean and well stocked. The bed was pretty comfy. We also had a access to their club lounge located in the same floor. The lounge had a generous stock of fresh fruits for the breakfast and other short eats as well.

We stayed here because of the discount we received and being close to the State Fair. It was just ok. After the advertised for free parking, we paid $24 a night to garage park: which was full by 8pm. ($31 for valet which was also full) The room was okay. It took setting the A/C to 65 just to get it to cool down. The carpet was dirty, probably need to be steam cleaned. Every time a neighbor flushed, we heard it. Conversations by neighbors, we heard it. The staff was friendly and helpful. House... Read more

The facility is large and offers many amenities, however I would not say it is managed particularly well. For instance, you're penalized for standing in the SPG line, as the young and inexperienced desk staff spend no time or effort allocating stations to one line or the other. If someone gets stuck in SPG, you'll be waiting there much longer than in the normal line. The lounge is more or less chaos, but I was there during "game day" so perhaps the circumstances had something to do with it. ... Read more

The prospect of bed bugs in a very DARK room that shows only signs of aging and wear is not just unappealing, it is horrifying. Stayed for four nights and noticed indications of bed bugs the final two mornings of our stay. Blood spots on pillows. Towels were replaced with towels that did not even look clean, and linens looked soiled the entire time despite being a very clean individual. Stayed in the South Tower. Location was fine, and fitness center was nice, but bed bugs negate all of the... Read more

This hotel is one of the oldest and largest in Dallas and it is conveniently located in the downtown. This time my business was in the downtown Dallas and hence my client booked me into this hotel. The rooms were clean and neat and the sleep quality was also as desired, but the washrooms left a lot to be desired. The water flow in the shower was very less and it was impossible to even fully get wet standing below the shower. it would take a minimum of 5-7 minutes to get wet and by that time you ... Read more

I needed to stay in downtown Dallas one Friday night for a one day conference the next day, and with a tight budget I found the Sheraton In Dallas to be very comfortable, luxury accommodations at a reasonable price. I didn't have a vehicle with me, but the hotel location has easy access to the DART train to travel further north to a station convenient for family there to pick me up and with whom I could enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Able to choose if we wanted a king or queen bed; they gave us drink vouchers, breakfast vouchers, and free parking. I thought this hotel was tremendous. Was there for a conference. This hotel has very good staff! That in itself does not justify a $244 regular rate per night. The two restaurants on premises are extremely high prices (15 for a order of hot wings). There is very little outside this hotel for food options so you are stuck. Also not safe out after dark. The staff experience was great, the look and feel of the hotel starting to show wear but still good and clean. However, despite requesting a quiet room (my only request/criteria), I was not able to sleep. The sound, I think I finally figured out it was of the mechanism (not just the arrival chime) of the elevators can be heard throughout the hallways and very easily inside my room, despite not being elevator adjacent. You have to remember they charge you $23.00 per night for self park and $31.00 per night for valet parking on top of your room cost. We stayed in tower 5 on the 23rd floor with a beautiful view, in a nice room. Quick check in with very comfortable King bed, large flat screen TV. I was disappointed there was no refrigerator or microwave. The room was beautiful. All the amenities in the bathroom, even spare shaving lotion and spare razor. Good deal for downtown Dallas.
