Our stay at the Rosewood Mansion was what I expected: impeccable service, attention to detail, and a welcoming environment. The room was a standard suite, with a very nice sitting area . The linens were lovely! Our wedding was in close proximity, so we chose this location. We did not eat at the Restaurant, but heard very good things from diners. We had treats in the room, as a welcome package from the Bridal party, so we lacked for nothing. The staff made sure we received what was ready for us ... Read more

The staff, particularly concierge and reception are excellent. Helpful, cheerful and offering support and assistance. The hotel bedrooms are a little old fashioned, poolside a little dank smelling. Might Beneat from a refurbishment in bathrooms too which are a bit outdated. However nice little pool (although under flight path at times a bit noisy), decent gym, good breakfast, dinner too fussy (would benefit from simpler menu choices) and nice location in pretty area.

When I used to stay at this hotel on business trips during the 1990's, it was easily considered one of the best hotels in the city of not the top hotel. I had not returned to the hotel for many years but did recently. I was greatly disappointed. My biggest objection was the smell of mold in my room. I asked for a different room and was given one. While the second room was better, it still had a lingering smell of mold. In many other ways, the hotel failed to live up to my expectations. For examp... Read more

Had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this glorious property in May for business purposes. From the moment I was greeted at my car, to the moment I checked out, it was five star all the way. Can't say enough good things about the staff and their attention to detail. Quiet, secluded and comfortable. Bed was awesome, as were the linens and pillows. Great bathroom amenities, great housekeeping service, room service and all service. This is truly a "guest centered" hotel that rivals any Fou... Read more

Exemplary service of a European standard rarely found in the US whilst retaining the best aspects of genteel Southern Texas. A delightful property with very high standard facilities and service. Bar is outstanding with world class cocktails and slick service. As is the outdoor terrace for a sensational luncheon in delightful surroundings. An oasis of calm a stone's throw from Highland Park and a pleasant creekside walk to West Village. The oh-so cultural Dallas surprises again.

An amazing hotel that continues to stand the test of time. Staff are well trained, articulate and genuinely caring. Made use of the car service to take my wife and I to dinner on Saturday night, the driver was punctual and attentive. Cocktails on the terrace Saturday night were well crafted and our server was excellent. Service staff in the restaurant Sunday morning were spot on and the food was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

We arrived at the Mansion for our weekend stay and had trouble as our booking using their direct on-line website was ignored, truncated, redundant, whatever at the Mansion - all on their end. While we never got the room that we booked, the hotel team since has made appropriate billing and service amends. But this type of thing reminds us all to have a good records trail. We have stayed with Rosewood previously at the Mansion and elsewhere without any concerns at all. On to the good news. The Man... Read more

This hotel boasts lovely rooms, lovely service, a delicious restaurant, etc. That said, there were a number of major events, elevator outages and other issues inconveniencing regular guests during my last stay. I was a bit disappointed in the way that hotel handled the issues - they made no effort to inform the regular guests of the events nor offer apologies. Unusual for a hotel of this caliber.

I have written several reviews of The Mansion, so as usual, it is an excellent review. I will stay no where else when in Dallas, whether on business or leisure. This hotel has the best of everything, from arrival, valet, front desk, rooms and the bar. The location is superb, tucked away from the chaos of the city, but close to everything good Dallas has to offer. I highly encourage anyone going to Dallas, to stay here.

Flight from Love Field to Denver canceled and not rebooked until the next day. Need to make the most of it. So booked one night Mansion at Turtle Creek and could feel my frustration and angst about a full day lost by a cancelled flight melt off. Great gym, super service, very nice room, bar and dinner terrific, and short ride back to Love Field. Felt like a one day vacation versus a day from hell due to missed flight. Good stuff.

They upgraded me to a huge Master Suite which was terriific ( I had booked this room two years ago). Our visit to Rosewood ranks amongst the best hotel experiences in the world. It's a beautiful hotel, with wonderful rooms and public areas but it is the service which is the standout here. The staff make you feel welcome in a way I have not experienced in the US and only rarely in Europe. The restaurant is an experience not to be missed, not only for the amazing cuisine but also for the attentive and incredibly discreet service. Avoid the chain hotels - this is an experience not to be missed.

I use to live in Dallas. The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek was hands down my favorite restaurant & hotel. It was once a private residence owned by a cotton barron. This well located fine old hotel, now under new ownership, still has a helpful, friendly staff and a comfortable, homey atmosphere, good food, and a great bar.
