Beautiful lobby , lounge and bar area. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant/bar. Room was just OK definitely showing age but still very clean. Check-in process was OK although they attempt to charge a $50 early check in fee even if rooms are ready and available. I found this policy pretty annoying. Overall a decent choice for Addison / Galleria area.

The lobby is nice. The rooms/bathrooms are a bit outdated. Chipped furniture, holes in sheets, you can read the details in other reviews. Overall, it's not what I expect from an InterContinental. But here's the little thing that's out in the open that makes me wonder what else am I getting screwed on. The gift shop downstairs sells bags of Kirkland Signature nuts, straight from Costco, for ... $4!!! That in and of itself is not a big deal. I know I'm paying a premium buying such things at... Stayed here during a busy time evidently. I booked a room and their website shows free parking and internet. Got to the hotel and checked in, no parking available, everything that was open had a white cone in front of it for valet. I moved to valet area and asked where I was supposed to park since all spots were full. Was told to go around back and use the garage. No clear signage at night until you get in the garage and the gate closes. Even then, you had to walk to the doors where it sta... Read more

Working with the team from the Intercontinental Hotel in Dallas to Host our 10th Annual Texas STEM Conference was amazing! I have never worked with a more pleasant, professional, and responsive team! All elements were excellent and our 1100 attendees shared the great reviews! If you are looking for a great place to host your next event - just talk to Irene and she will take care of everything!

Checked in at 11pm and our room was available, a two storey room! Downstairs was a lounge room with a powder room and upstairs the bedroom with full bath. WOW... what a great room! We had lunch in the bar, and it was great with a lovely barman. This hotel is out of down town Dallas, but we were here for a but of luxury after our 4 week road trip and this was just the hotel to do it in. We had two nights with a late check out, and we could have stayed! Staff at check in, the bar, house keep... Read more

The Lone Star Santas Charities, Inc had their annual Round-Up of all of its members at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dallas this past weekend ( 1/13-1/15/17). We had over 150 members attending. We had two sessions, one on Friday night and then Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. The hotel had two buffet meals for us, an Italian lunch and a Mexican Dinner. We ran a little short of food on Saturday night as Santas have a huge appetite, but not to worry they were able to fill the pans again soon... Read more

I have spent one weekend a year for the past 6 or 7 years at the IC, and let me tell you that NOTHING has changed, and that's not really a good thing. The rooms haven't changed, but this time our room's carpet was noticeably dirtier and stained, and I kept wanting to run my Bissel Green Machine over it to get the black fluid out of it. The drapes, wallpaper (yes) and art haven't changed. The slow elevators haven't changed. The little coffee machines haven't changed. There is still no fridge or m... Read more

The room was very nice and clean. There wasn't a mini fridge or microwave which kinda surprised us. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was amazing and didn't cost hardly anything. We thought we read they had a hot tub and they didn't which would have been really nice. Overall we had a lovely time.

The service here can't be beat! All of the staff are very personable and accommodating. The concierge Norman helped me get a reservation for 30 at a nearby hotel that could accommodate food allergies and had a private room. The wait staff in the hotel restaurant was the weak link in the hotel. I was in one of their two story suites. The layout was great but th decor is somewhat dated. Housekeeping, especially for an executive level floor, left something to be desired. The staff in the executive ... Read more
