Very pleasantly surprised by the Hyatt House! Rooms are geared for extended stay, but was so reasonably priced. Design is fresh and modern, with nice colors and upscale finishes (granite countertops). Loved the gated parking garage, as I was travelling alone this time. Close to shopping and restaurants, and location provides easy access to getting around Dallas. Will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to others!

The location is great, but the rooms, while large, are very sterile and cheap-feeling. The furniture is utilitarian and the room seems to be depressing. The staff was nice. We will not stay there again.

Our visit was pleasant. Will be helpful to have grab bars in bathroom for handicap person. Extend dropping and picking up from restaurants beyond 8.00 P.M. Stock Pantry or central market with more frozen food or sandwiches for vegetarian.

We have stayed at the Hyatt House for over 4 years while our daughter attended SMU. We found it difficult to beat the rate, quality of the hotel, and location anywhere else in Dallas. We even earned enough points to have two free nights during Graduation!

Lovely rooms, close to shopping, a pool to cool down and share with friends and family, what more could you want! A definite must stay if you are in the Dallas area. You can actually walk to shopping and restaurants!

Overall, a very nice property. Furnishings throughout are a little dated, and the lighting in the rooms isn't great, but we found the property to be very clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was very good and the omelet station was a real plus. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. They often asked us if they could help us with something rather than our having to ask them. We had been made aware of the parking charge prior to our arrival, but I thin... Read more

This was a very nice hotel - very spacious and clean! The room was large and featured a small kitchen, living area and bedroom space. The bathroom was a little small compared to the rest of the room, but was perfectly fine. I really liked that the tv could flip to face the bed or turn completely around to face the living area. I definitely enjoyed my stay here!!

I am staying here for a couple of weeks on business trip. My company made a booking for me in this hotel. I didn't know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Its located in close proximity with park and supermarket. Reasonable simple but clean gym facility and cute swimming pool. Only thing is almost same breakfast menu everyday without many choices. Could been nice to have either salad or vegetable selection. Its been 5days already with same breakfast and i am getting bit sick of it. I got ... Read more

We came to Dallas to celebrate a family wedding. Our side of the family all stayed in the same hotel. Every room was a suite that not only had a kitchen, sitting area, but it contained the cleanest, most comfortable beds. The outside pool, which it surrounded by the hotel, was a great asset since it gave us a fun, relaxed gathering spot. There is limited parking outside , so I do recommend paying the $14 daily frr for the attached parking ramp. It is easily accessed from every floor

My organization choose this Hyatt location. This location. Is close to a lot of things - mall, dining, etc. My first impression - the front desk is being renovated so the front desk is location was moved to a single room very crowed during checkin and out times. When I was walking to my room on the first floor I could smell a musky smell. My room (129) had the same oder. I purchased some Lysol and it helped. The whirl pool was not operating for the week I was here which was a huge disapp... Read more

We were staying for a family wedding, and the hotel was undergoing renovations, so our expectations were not very high. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff bent over backwards to make up for the inconvenience. The breakfast was wonderful and the evening social had a good variety of very nice choices. The front desk staff (Claudette, Olivia, Brittany, and Twishun) all bent over backwards to be helpful. They treated us as human beings, not merely hotel guests.

This was a clean hotel, convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Its quiet and the sleeping experience was excellent. The staff is very kind and friendly. I had trouble with 3 hairdryers, so maybe bring your own if its something you definitely will need.

The hotel is in the midst of a renovation on the first floor guest area. The temp front desk and breakfast bar locations are a bit dreary, but I'm guessing the new ones will be an upgrade to what they had before. We like the breakfast omlet station, but they could expand the other offerings to give a bit more selection. Staying one or two night wouldn't be an issue, but a week would get old. The room was good, clean and large, however the bathroom could use a bit of attention to spiff up..ge... Read more

Do not stay here until after construction is completed in August, room did not come close to comparing with other hotel chains. While breakfast and lobby being remodeled might wnat to extend that to rooms

One star for the parking charge. Not even comped for Platinum or Diamond members. This Hyatt in no way justifies $14 a night for parking. The DoubleTree up the street is around the same price, better amenities, and FREE PARKING. Everything else the same Hyatt Place decor/food. Cmon, change this policy already or comp it for plats/diamonds.

While the hotel was undergoing a renovation it did not represent that much of an inconvenience. A hallway was closed off so we had to walk through the pool area to get from our room to the other side of the hotel and the parking garage, but really not a big deal and prepared us for the nice hot muggy weather we'd be facing the rest of the day! Room was very comfortable. Other than difficulty with the refrigerator we found everything else just fine. Pool and patio area nice. Covered parking ... Read more

The Hyatt House near my home is a great place - great service, modern rooms, outstanding location, good food, bright and sunny. Over the years, I've found the rest of the Hyatt House locations I've stayed at to be ... less so. This hotel was no exception. Granted we caught it in an off time due to all the construction on the lobby (which by the way was not indicated on the hotel website. I'm not a fan of a lack of full disclosure, especially when pulling up near midnight after a long day of t... Read more

My first time to use a rental car in traveling in Dallas, and I found the orel realatively easy to find and was only 30 minutes from the airport. At the time of my stay they were remodeling the main office area so it was a little difficult getting to the temperory office. But I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant, and the rooms are extrememly nice and roomy, The social time was very relaxing and well done with the breakfast in very good tast and enjoyable.

Those of you who read my reviews know we are the top tier hyatt folks...i.e, lotsa experience w/ Hyatt's and renditions. Clean and neat property. Friendly staff. Responsive! I grew up in Dallas and was there to see my aging father. Great locale BUT they need to beef up security. Someone followed my rent car into the garage and "camped out" in the parking garage and "tricked me" into letting them in, twice--dumb me. Homeless couple also found their way into third floor. Not bad or dangerous ... Read more

We chose this Hyatt House in the Dallas / Lincoln Park area due to its close proximity to SMU's campus. This is our second stay in two years, and though the location is great, the hotel falls short of Hyatt's usual quality. The lobby area is undergoing renovations as of July 2016, so hopefully that work will continue on to the rest of the facility. Our rooms, both this year and last, were setup for extended stays with a small kitchen area, a desk, a couch / living area, and beds. Small, but pot... Read more

In terms of cleanliness and style not up to the usual Hyatt House standards. Rooms are dated. Lobby was under construction. This made it a little noisy in the morning. We could hear hammering and drilling. I am sure it will make the lobby much nicer but won;t do anything about the rooms. Check in through a side door. A little noisy at times.
