With some of Dallas' most prestigious and expensive hotels just across the road, Za Za has to shine particularly brightly to stand out. This it manages with apparent effortless ease through a blend of Texan style and friendly, but never intrusive, service. Definitely my hotel of choice in Dallas. Well done y'all!

Back before boutique, "design" hotels were en vogue, ZaZa set the standard for Dallas cool. Now they're commonplace, and this one seems to have lost its mojo. On this visit (I haven't been here in about five years), was markedly disappointed with the experience: Rooms are still nice and large and bed is great, but we were awoken to construction each morning in the room above us. Also the hot and cold water were reversed in the shower and the sink was clogged. Signs of deferred maintenance and ... Read more

The suites are indelible but extremely expensive - The hotel itself will serve as one of the most memorable experiences. The spa is small but has awesome technicians. The Pool scene and bar scene are two of the most hopping in all of Dallas. The full time residents must invite every beautiful person they know to hang out with them at the pool and within 15 minutes of my hanging around with the bouncer on a sat night- I must have experienced at least 40 people come and go !

We have stayed at the ZaZa for several years and it is one of our favorites. The hotel has a lot of charm and the service has always been good. Located just a few blocks north of downtown, the hotel is in a great location for food and fun. We enjoy going to the Mavs games and the ZaZa is more than happy to make their high end shuttle available. The rooms are all different, so be sure to check them out on the website. We prefer to stay in the bungalows located adjacent to the main hotel. Bungal... Read more

Poor house cleaning. When reported this to the manager nothing improved. We paid top dollars for the suite and very poor service was received. We have stayed at Zazza many times but in HOUSTON...what a difference!

This was a quick business trip for me. In late and out early. The room was fabulous and comfortable. They were kind enough to upgrade me because the hotel was quiet. Room service was delicious and delivered speedily. All staff members were efficient and lovely. Checkout was a breeze. ZaZa is now my Dallas home!

Everyone was beyond nice and helpful. They provided good recommendations for things to do plus provided rides in the local area. The location was great. The beds were very comfortable. Room service was quick. Tip: take the free trolley on McKinney to see around town.

Imagine staying at the Ritz Carlton in terms of hotel amenities and service, but it has a little more pizazz. They have a great bar and restaurant fit for foodies, A personal driver service to get you around town, and a pool that somehow always looks like there is a party happening. Plus, this hotel is right in the heart of where you'll find lots of great restaurants and bars, not far from some high end shopping either. I have stayed there several times over the years, never disappointed, and I... Read more

The location is great, But the service was unacceptable. I had asked the front desk for a set of towels, that were never replaced by housekeeping, and then never brought to my room. I stayed for three nights, and NEVER received fresh towels. Also... When I communicated that i never received the towels, the front desk agent, younger with long brownish black hair, was very rude and short. Stating that she new about the towels and they would be up. NEVER CAME. The rooms are nice, but the staffs unw... Read more

We stay at this hotel whenever we go to Dallas. The hotel is cool and trendy, sure, but it is also in a great location, has great service, and is very nicely equipped. You won't be disappointed! (Hint: join their loyalty club for cool deals/upgrades/perks).

From the moment we stepped out of the vehicle, we received a warm welcome from the valet/bell staff. These guys provided fast, efficient service and loads of helpful information about the surrounding area. Service and food at Dragonfly was exceptional, beds divine and certainly the most amazing pillows ever. Great, albeit, short stay!

Hotel is definitely comfortable. But overall the place is so-so. No gift shop for convenience items like water, a 6 pack of beer, snacks, or regular items you might have forgot to bring. All top hotels we've been at, have a gift shop, some really good. Service is lacking a little too. Worst of all,for a supposed top hotel, the mattress absolutely was SUB-PAR. ... Not as important, but also worth mentioning:you MUST valet... there is no self-park or garage. Again, hotel is comfortable but most ... Read more

This is such a nice and fun hotel to stay at! We had a bachelorette party here over the weekend and this hotel is one big party! The shuttle service is awesome so we didn't have to worry about going out and not having a safe way back. The Dragonfly also serves great food! The spa is exceptional! The only problems were overcrowded pool area because the pool is extremely small, and some of the staff comes off inconvenienced if you ask for extra towels or blankets. I wouldn't recommend this place f... Read more

I don't understand how this place gets such good reviews. You have to be quite wealthy if you want to stay there. Our room was $350/night. It was very small and plain jane. Definitely not worth the price. The outside is beautiful as well as the lobby but the remainder of the hotel was just ok. The 'amenities', (and I use the word loosely), they offer, pool, (under construction while we were there even though it was 100 degrees out), cookies and water and that's it. No continental breakfast, noth... Read more

There is no question the Zaza Hotel is a beautiful place to stay for business and vacations. The luxury traveler would find it appealing. It has a georgeous spa and pool area. The rooms are elegantly and interestingly decorated and the concierge service is very good. The front desk staff could improve a bit, perhaps look at the guest in the eye when talking instead of constantly glaring at their computers. There is no gift shop and the cost is a bit excessice. Overall a great hotel, but I would ... Read more

People are crazy about this place. It is very nice, small and tucked away from the crowds. It is extremely popular on weekends. The bar and pool are hectic. On a week night it was very quiet. I don't feel that the hotel is better than other hotels of this caliber. Don't get me wrong, the room was lovely and the shower had the best water pressure! We did have room service which was as expected, good. Our front dest experience was professional, offering any help we needed and also a tad coo... Read more

Great stay! In town for a wedding here and everything was wonderful. Small boutique hotel in downtown Dallas. The rooms are nice and well maintained. Everyone we encountered on the staff was nice and very responsive to our requests. Room service was quick and the food was good. Would definitely consider for a couple's trip next time.

Every time we had a business trip to Dallas in the past. I would look for a good rate in a nice area. After staying at hotel ZaZa Dallas, my husband don't look around anymore. We look for excuses to come back to Dallas so we can stay at this property. Our experience starts from the minute we pull up. From the valet, to the front desk, to the restaurant, all of the staff is so friendly and ready to help. Instead of sitting at a desk in the room, we will often sit in the Dragonfly restaurant. Th... I dropped in at Hotel Zaza for a cocktail and appetizer. The place is beautiful. The service is excellent. I ordered the crab meat and avocado appetizer; unfortunately, I had to send it back. The crab meat smelled and tasted too crabby. I then ordered the BLT sandwich and this was good. The choices for appetizers weren't that attractive to me. I did return later for the party at the pool with a DJ at 10pm. The DJ started on time and the music he played was very good. I was so happy when ... Read more

Overall, this is a beautiful hotel. Rooms were nice. Beds and pillows comfortable. They have drivers that will run you where you need to go. Plenty of good dining and bars nearby. A few cons in my book are....the pool closes early to allow for more bar room. That sucks. Also, this is apparently a popular place for the party crowd. While we didn't run into to many issues, we did have to deal with a few "rowdy" folks. We stayed on a Sunday night, so it wasn't bad. But had heard stories of Friday a... Read more

Visited the spa on our last visit and it was one of the best massages we have ever had. We can't say enough about this place and try to stay there as often as we can usually once a month for a short get away from Louisiana. The Za Lemonade by the pool is THE BEST!!

The ZaZa Hotel is just amazing. From the moment you walk in the front door, you know you're somewhere special. The hotel has a modern, cool vibe, and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. If you're a business traveler, and worried about accruing points at a Marriott or Hilton - check out the ZIP program at ZaZa. If you haven't ever stayed here, do it now.
