My wife and I stayed here for Valentine's Day weekend. We really liked the location because it was a nice walk to the arts district and other points of interest. The staff were welcoming and jovial. The accommodations are not luxurious and the rooms are small but when traveling an a budget and looking for downtown accommodations, this hotel was just right for us.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it had everything we needed. There was an issue with the drainage in our room, so we were promptly moved to a new room which was lovely as it faced the park. The hotel staff were lovely, and were more than helpful when recommending places to eat. Their recommendations were spot on too!

Let's start with the good....all employees were very friendly. Jay was the front desk agent and he was great, smiling whenever we saw him. He made us feel welcome. Lobby is brightly colored and roomy. They have a seating area with a bar in the lobby. I knew that they had valet parking only or you could park at a parking garage. Valet is $25 a night/ you can take your car in/out without additional fees. If you use the garage it is $15 no in/out privileges. There wasn't a bellman so be prepared to... Read more

For an anniversary night in Dallas, my husband and I were looking for a quaint, nice, clean, but somewhat inexpensive place to stay. We knew we didn't want a budget chain, but we couldn't justify spending a fortune on a luxury hotel knowing we wouldn't be there but just a few hours to sleep between other plans. I kept coming back to the Hotel Indigo, but the reviews kept scaring me away. However, after my husband remembered he had IHG points expiring, we decided to give it a try. I was hesitan... Read more

After long travel day and an error in reservation, Lloyd, the evening manager, saw my stress level and responded with compassion and professionalism. He made sure a room was available and I could attend dinner meeting. Franklin, the valet, the next day picked me up from Exxon Annual Meeting and enabled me to make my flight to Nashville. Great staff!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I stayed one night at the Hotel Indigo and enjoyed my time there. I was in town for a show at the Majestic Theatre, which is half-a-block away. Very convenient! The staff at the front desk was very nice, as were the folks working at the bar. The room was comfortable, if spartan. It's an old building, so don't go in with the expectation that it is going to be the Ritz-Carlton. The location and staff more than made up for the little quirks that come with a historic site.

The hotel is located in a charming old building over the road from the building where Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald (for the history buffs). The interior could do with some improvement and to be fair, renovations are planned, so these could make it quite charming if they are true to the character of the building. The hotel was near to what I was in town for (a conference) and allowed me to walk to things I needed. The check-in was easy, though the lobby had a horrible smell of a sewer back up. The hotel is under construction which is not a big issue. The staff was not very professional. Greated me with "Whats up man". Several requests to get a porter to help with luggage went unanswered. Had to load unload our luggage. There is no place to park for valet parking. You have to park in the middle of the street and load, unload your stuff. For the money I spent I could have stayed at much nicer hotel down the road. The elevators had problems and were so slow/intermittently working that we wound up using the stairs. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, rooms nice and big, extra pillows. We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and it was delicious and reasonably priced. They had a happy hour daily at the hotel bar the drinks were good and strong. They have a shuttle that took us to and from within a 3 mile radius (we went to the state fair) if need be. I will definitely be back.

This place is right in downtown. All the staff from room service (who helped us with a recalcitrant key), the front desk, and the concierges were so nice. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and just funky enough to be hip without being Urban Outfittery. The rooms are nucely decorated, the beds are super comfy, and the amenities nice. You can hear some traffic but it's downtown. Never used tv or wifi so that remains a mystery. You can valet park overnight for $25 or park in the garage (E... Read more

The Hotel Indigo in Dallas is a renovated older property well located in downtown. I'd understand better if the hotel opened recently but it just seems like the renovation was rushed and not finished. There is certainly nothing wrong with the property and a guest could get a good night's rest. But some additional finishing, and more attention to detail, I would rank it one or two stars higher. Details such as - an iron, but no ironing board; no hook or towel rack on which to hang a wet towel... Read more

We were in Dallas for the Cowboys game and we stayed here because of the location which is excellent, in Downtown, where everything is close. Jorge from front desk and the complete crew were super helpful during our stay. We will be back for sure

The service at Hotel Indigo Dallas was superb. Raul went above and beyond with his service and was extremely helpful. When I got lost trying to get to the hotel and going to my destination, he stayed on the phone with me until I was almost there each time. The front desk staff was very cordial. Room service staff was prompt and respectful. The valet service was exceptional and personable, they knew me by name and always welcomed me back. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference. Double room was great for two people - corner rooms where beds where end to end instead of side by side. Update décor was sophisticated without being fussy. Strange that were no towel racks in bathroom to hand damp towels if we wanted - hum? For a 1925 property, it is really well maintained. Nice breakfast spot (not free) and two wine tickets on Wednesday :) Great location to walk to Arts District and/or downtown Dallas. Many great restaurants within 1... Read more

We recently stayed at your Hotel Indigo in downtown Dallas and it was wonderful. Even with certain construction everything was clean and pretty. The best part about our stay was the kind staff member, Jorge in guest services, that helped arrange champagne and berries in our room. that extra surprise made the whole trip worth it and i wanted to thank all of y'all with an excellent review. thank you for a great time in Dallas!!

Came to Dallas to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and the staff was very friendly & helpful. We were mistakenly placed in a handicap room with only one bed but they quickly fixed this & relocated us to another room which suited our needs & our reservation. I appreciated how helpful the staff was here.

Hotel is about 99% completed with their renovations project. I noticed some minor issues with the wallpaper in my room but overall we had a great stay. We went to the Cowboys game for our anniversary and the hotel just complimented the experience. Franklin set us up with cab ride to and from the game and made it convenient for us rather than having to find a cab there. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed but the food was good. Front desk was friendly and accommodating to our request. Raul a... Read more

I visited the hotel this passed week and we had a great stay. Everyone seemed very busy but still courteous to the guests needs. The shuttle service to the bomb factory was great. Loved the deep Ellum area. Ken and Jorge at the desk managed to get us into a room with a nice view of the park across the street which is where we went to take many pictures of the holiday decorations.

Everyone at the hotel seemed to be very genuine in attending our needs. We asked for a couples package and that's exactly what we received. Champagne and strawberries in our room at check in shuttle service to Ruth's steakhouse and everyone's attention to detail really helped me impress my girlfriend for our anniversary. Jorge was very attentive to make sure that our stay was excellent

I stayed at this hotel because it was chosen for me by the event organizers. My initial impression was positive: the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate and clean. But the room was dark: only two low-wattage lights were on either side of the bed, which didn't illuminate the desk area where I had to do some work. So, I called for a desk lamp, and a day later I had to ask again, and they brought me a wobbly floor lamp instead, which did provide light. On my las... Read more

We stayed here the weekend after Thanksgiving, even though the staff was very friendly I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the hotel. Before traveling there we reviewed the pictures of the hotel and when getting there noticing that the hotel had did a complete renovation. Even though I was a fan of how old the building, I was disappointed in the big paint chips in the walls of our room as well as the outlets looking like they would probably start a fire if I plugged anything in. The ch... Read more
