My 4 day stay was made to be very comfortable by this hotel. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which helped me to sleep really well, keeping me refreshed for my meetings. The free wifi was consistent and easy to access. We did not eat at the hotel, as we wanted to experience the local cuisine. Parking was safe and secure. The staff were very helpful when we arrived, or requested assistance with finding places.

I had to stay here for a Toastmasters conference so I did not expect to have a great hotel experience. I was shocked to find that the room was worth every cent and more. Excellent room, wonderful in room dining (best cobb salad EVER) and great customer service! Oh, did I forget to mention the cookies? I really enjoyed this hotel and will be back again!

Our company has used this hotel for conference for years. The conference planning staff is AMAZING! They work so hard to make sure your event goes well without any mistakes. The hotel could use some updating to the rooms and overall appearance, but that doesn't keep me from coming back. The food is so good!

I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas during a recent business trip. The room rates are reasonable and the hotel is near great restaurants & shopping. I love, love the location! The staff was very professional & accomodating, and of course the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. There's a restaurant on-site, however I didn't dine there. The hotel is well kept & clean for the most part, but is in dire need of some updates. The carpet is old & the furnishings are so 90's! I do recommend t... Read more

Actually, the two best things about this hotel were: 1) the patient lady at the front desk (who treated us nicely even though we were complaining); and 2) seeing it in our rear-view mirror. This hotel is unpleasant all the way from the parking lot (messy, in bad repair), to the front door (dirt, cigarette butts, gum on the entrance mats), to the tired entry with the water-damaged ceiling tiles, to the sad '70's era atrium . The a/c--in the Texas summer!!--was non-existent in the halls. (WHY???... Read more

The staff was extremely nice, everything was really clean, great location, but our air conditioner struggled to cool off the room. We didn't report any problems with the air conditioning because it was late when we arrived and thought the room would eventually cool off. The room never cooled off even after turning the air conditioning to the coldest level and most powerful setting. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The location of this Doubletree was perfect for the activities that took me to Dallas and the lobby was nicely maintained. My room was not so accommodating due to no air conditioning, dirty sink, and commode. I'm sure the staff would have given me another room if the hotel were not completely filled. When checking out I was told that there are some upcoming renovations that will take place in the Fall that will make the hotel much more pleasant.

Shocked by this Hilton property. Obviously no one from corporate has visited in years. Here are the negatives: 1. Variable responses to customer support by front desk support. 2. I was on Floor 7- no telling when the floor was last updated. The bed was the worst bed I have slept in at a property in over 20 years (or not slept in). 3. Most of my business associates complained the air con was not adequate in their room. 4. The front desk and shuttle driver both give you different schedules. ... Read more

The front desk check in and hospitality from the front desk clerk, Edgar Pena, was perfect. I stay in hotels a collective 150+ days per year. This hotel I would not recommend. First what I believed to be a rash turned out to be bed bugs. Bites got progressively worse throughout my stay. Secondly This hotel is in need of a refresh. What was supposed to be an exit sign above the stairwell was two bare wires, the carpet was stained in multiple places in my room as were the walls. The hotel staff were great. However the shower had dark red mud/rust in the lines and the AC did not cool well. It is an older facility, but for all intents and purposes well maintained. Our overall experience at this Doubletree property was positive. The staff were wonderful, but the hotel desperately needs to be renovated. We stayed in a hotel room on the 7th floor. The hallway carpet was old, the wallpaper was peeling and there was no A/C in the hallway or on the elevators - not a good in Dallas in July. First time staying in the Galleria area and I found that the hotel staff was very friendly in welcoming me and answering any questions that I had. The restaurant food was great. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to come to Dallas. Great Value for Great Price!!

DoubleTree Dallas Valley View was a fabulous experience. The water features in the lobby and open area were beautiful to see and hear. The Breakfast buffet and Omelet Station served the best veggie egg white omelet around. The staff is courteous and welcoming. It was a great hotel experience.

I picked this up on Hotwire for $68/ night , no resort fee or charge for parking. The hotel is nice, rooms comfortable and clean, and friendly staff. It's also not far at all from downtown and easy freeway access. What more could you ask for ??

This Double Tree was an overall good experience. Staff was very friendly but wait time at check in counter can be lengthy. Room pillows are not the best so I would recommend that you bring your own. Bar is nice.

Stayed at DoubleTree for 2 nights and i have to say exceeded my expectations. The personal on front desk is very polite and prompt. i had a reservation and upon my arrival to check in she gave me the corner unit up on the executive lounge for my surprise.. The lobby is huge and very sophisticated, elevators are fast also. The club room on my floor had a specific time for entertainment which was a drawback, but the lady was very sharp in offering me snacks and drinks. The room i stayed was except... Read more

This property is very close and accessible by walking to lots of shopping opportunities. It is close to DFW Airport. THe staff is courteous and very professional. They helped me to address a problem that I had while using their computer and printer. The problem was solved in no time at all! I found great value for the cost of staying there. I plan to stay here again on future visits to the area, especially for business.

We arrived at 2:15 to check in, room was not ready. We waited in the lobby & at 3:15 we were able to get both our rooms. Our toilette and shower were plugged up. Our smoke free room started to stink up with cigarette smoke around 5pm. I called to ask for a different room. I was told I would not be able to change to a different room, but they would come & freshen up the room. It is a smoke free hotel, but they could not tell who was smoking. I was dreading a long business meeting in Dallas, anticipating an antiseptic environment, superficially interested hotel staff, and (my pet peeve) paying for a bunch of services (internet, parking) that less expensive hotels would offer for free. OOPS! This DoubleTree is quite inviting, and the staff was amazing...actually going out of their way to make sure every guest is treated better than they expected. As for my pet peeve, of course the internet is free, and I was able to park my vehicle... Read more

I've stayed the Doubletree Dallas Near the Galleria a few times and I am always impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is a treat, and the beds are spacious and very comfortable. The decor is a little dated and a few of the fixtures need some TLC but I wouldn't choose anywhere else to stay when I'm in town. The hotel also has a shuttle service to and from the Galleria where shopping enthusiasts can indulge in some retail therapy.

I had the opportunity to stay overnight for a business trip. The facility was near the office. I was greeted warmly, ate at the Lobby bar and visited the Executive lounge for happy hour and breakfast. I was very satisfied with all accomodations and will stay in the facility again when I have business in the area.

Horrible stay. They put us in a room that was not cleaned, had half eaten food and drink, trash everywhere. Moved us to another room where the air didn't work and the clock was off and the iPod dock was so outdated we couldn't use it. It was AWFUL!

Stay here if you want to wake up to some bugs waiting for you when you get out of the shower. Co-workers found crickets in their rooms on night one, and although unfortunate I didn't think their findings on the 5th floor would have much consequence on me on the 10th. Last day of my stay, two little friends were waiting on the walls as I got out of my shower. Makes you wonder about the food being served in the lobby.

Perfectly average older hotel. Don't expect much but a decent place to sleep in a convenient location. Tried to get room service but nobody answers the phone. Tried 4 times over 20 minutes. Went down to eat and one bartender is the waiter as well. He couldn't handle more than 1 table at a time. Just went across the street to Saltgrass. Had tv issues where it wasn't working at all and then most of the channels didn't work and were restricted. By the 2nd day their engineer did get it working.

This was by far the most disappointing stay in a hotel that I have experienced. The entire hotel was supposed to be non-smoking and upon exiting the elevator on the 6th floor all you could smell was stale cigarette smoke. Clearly this floor had, at some point of other, been a smoking floor. The furniture in the room I stayed in also smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The glass shelf in the vanity/sink area was unusable as it had not been hung on the wall straight. I attempted to place a bottle o... Read more

All four wheels were stolen from vehicle while parked in the Hotel parking lot and vehicle was left on blocks and a single jack under rear axle. This was on a Sunday the day we had planned to check out and leave. The Hotel only offered to not charge us to stay again Sunday night but did nothing else only stating it was a public parking lot and park at own risk. At one week they would not let my friend check in due to her name not being on the reservation, even though she had been placed on the reservation by me weeks prior. The room we stayed in was in need of some maintenance. There was a patch of ceiling plaster over the bed that was beginning to peel. Additionally the smoke alarm on the wall was coming away from the wall and there was also some mildew at the top of the walls in the bathroom. I did book at a discounted rate through a third party, so perhaps I was given a lesser room. I find it hard to believe that all of their rooms are in this condition. The breakfast was pretty good, but we didn't check out the executive lounge as we were there just to catch a early flight the next day.
