The hotel is amazing but what really sealed the deal was the man at the front desk. Bernie was able to guide us around the city of dallas within a reasonable distance from our hotel as well as send us to very good restaurants.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and booked a room at this gorgeous hotel. Not only is it small and personal, the decor is both lavish and comfortable. Our favorite was Bernie at the front desk. He personally invested in our celebration and made sure we had the ultimate best time celebrating!! From recommending a wonderful place for dinner to scoring us a table in our favorite piano bar, we owe Bernie and the Warwick Melrose for helping us truly celebrate our anniversary!!

Great Hotel with good old fashion service and friendliness. Burney checked us in and set up dinner reservations and told us about all the amenities the Hotel had to offer. The driver for the hotel was Garrett and this was a great option taking us where we needed to go within a 3 mile radius of the Hotel. The Library Bar was nice with great entertainment. Finally our room was perfect comfortable bed and the a/c kept us nice and cool.

I really want to give this hotel 5 stars. It hits almost all of the high points for a great hotel experience. But, they chose to spoil an otherwise exemplary experience by charging $10 a day for Wi-Fi access in the room. I travel A LOT and stay in both very nice hotels and economy hotels. It has been a long, long time since I was charged an access fee for Wi-Fi! If it is such a big deal, it should be built into the room rate. I hate the feeling of being nickel and dimed to death. This place was very nice and fancy. Everyone was very informative and helpful and very nice. The hotel was clean and our stay was excellent. The only problem I had was the fact that we had to pay $27 a day for valet parking, as there was no where else to park. I wasn't aware of this as it was not mentioned anywhere, and probably would've changed my mind of where to stay if I had known. Otherwise, everything was great.

I loved the ambiance of this moderately priced hotel offering Old Style class and charm. Built 90 years ago as luxury apartments, the lobby is beautiful. It has an adjacent piano bar. For a four diamond hotel, I thought it was just alright. I was a little disappointed at check in. There were 2 front desk agents and I overheard the first one check in a woman and he went the "extra mile" by asking her if she wanted a high floor or low floor, and even asked her about her plans for dinner. I grew up in Houston, Texas and the Warwick Hotel was the grand dame of hotels there. I visited but never stayed and always wanted to experience the grandeur. Because of a business meeting, I got the opportunity to stay two nights at the Warwick in Dallas which is also a grand historic hotel. The rooms are spacious and appealing. The staff are gracious and helpful. They have live music most nights and we were incredibly impressed by the performance.

You can hear elevator in rooms. Keeps you up so you can't sleep. Bring ear plugs. Bar is like an antique cigar room without the smells. Very old fashioned and stoggy feelings. Would not recommend this hotel for the price. Very outrageous.

Stayed for business. The common areas are impressive and immaculate. The hotel lobby bar is very nice and rather busy in the evenings. Did not try the restaurant. The room I had was very large. Had all needed amenities. No Fridge aside from minibar which you needed a separate key access to with separate deposit. The hotel is older and so the rooms themselves are a bit dated. For example bathroom is large but the lighting kind of misses the shower so it is a bit dark. Sound dampening betwe... Read more

We love classic hotels. This beauty was built in 1924. Huge kudos to Matt at the front desk who took excellent care of us during a crazy rush. We just rebooked for our return trip from vacation. Treat yourself like

We had a great visit at The Warwick. We arrived and were instantly upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful! This hotel is a classic, historic gem in a great location. Super convenient to most Uptown spots and within walking distance. I also chose this hotel because they allowed me to bring my small dog along. Their pet fee is much lower than many I have seen. We had cocktails in the Library bar before heading to dinner. It's a great atmosphere with a piano and singer. Overall, we really enjoyed ou... Read more

The front desk supervisor is Awful!!!! She literally is completely incompetent at her job. We waited an hour and a half to check in and still have yet to be accommodated. The room has to be cleaned and they are short staffed on housekeeping. The hotel is at full capacity and you at short staffed?!? Doesn't make sense.... save your money and stay elsewhere

This classic hotel never disappoints. It's in a great area, and the rooms are nicely appointed. Service is good. Rooms are clean and good size. Nice amenities. I've stayed here a number of times over the decades and keep going back.

Staying at the Warwick Melrose is all about location and classic Dallas style. The architecture and furnishing harkens back to the era in which it was built - spacious rooms, quality linens, traditional furniture, luxurious drapery - and a dressing table in the classically tiled bathroom. The hotel is within walking distance of Uptown, Turtle Creek, KATY Trail and the Arts District in the heart of Oak Lawn - and no one walks in Dallas, so the curb-side valets work non-stop to ensure your car i... And that's a good thing. Understated, classic, well-appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to points of interest. Walking distance to good, not great, eateries. Don't miss the Library bar in the lobby!

My husband and I stayed at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas for a one night getaway for my birthday. The hotel is very beautiful and our room (Upgraded King Room) was large and well appointed. Our room overlooked the Dallas skyline to the south which was beautiful at night. The location of the hotel is also very convenient to Dallas North Tollroad, restaurants (had the best seafood at Eddie V's), and Katy Trail. I also liked that they offered a car service to drop you to nearby destinations. ... Read more

This beautiful, centrally-located hotel is one of my favorites. I love to hang out in the Library bar. The rooms are nice, clean and big compared to others. In fact, we got lucky and booked a suite for $150 the night after Thanksgiving. It was huge! Staff are very friendly.

This property was close to where I needed to be and its reputation proceeded itself among friends who have stayed there before. The hip music is in contrast to the dark woods and leather that seem to transport you back in time to the days of speak easies and prohibition. Yet - somehow it all works. The paint in the guest room needed a bit of updating, but the bed was comfortable and the linens were crisp and fresh. A good choice in Dallas for an authentic old world hospitality experience.
