This is a good hotel for an airport stay. Rooms are bigger than average and have a lot of amenities. Although you cannot really go out on the balcony, I liked that it has doors/windows that open since most hotels don't. There is a little bit of airplane noise even when the door is closed. The hotel is walkable from Terminal C, although it is not the easiest walk ever. Adequate signage directs you, but it is up 5 stairs, then across the garage, then down some more steps, the up more steps, ... Read more

This was our second conference at this hotel, and once again it was a lovely stay. The conference rooms are clearly labeled and easy to find. The guest rooms are big and clean and quiet--our sliding door opened to the runways, and the noise didn't bother us at all. Be sure to request a refrigerator for your room if you want one, as they're not standard. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great stop over hotel - we stayed 3 nights and chose this hotel so we could visit both Dallas & Fort Worth. The DART to Dallas to visit the JFK museum & other attractions was efficient & cheap ( day pass for $5). The transport to Fort Wort to see the Stockyards was a little more involved but still easy - catch a shuttle from the hotel to airport, then a another shuttle/bus to the Remote South Gate, then a bus to to Centreport Rail Station & train into Fort Worth. We stayed at the Hyatt because our flight was cancelled and we had to stay overnight. After the stress of trying to get a fight out all day our stay at the Hyatt Regency DFW was so refreshing it was one of the best we have experienced with Hyatt. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing. We had dinner at Mr. G's and really enjoyed the whole experience especially Darrell the Matre De, he was amazing.

This wasn't the hotel's first rodeo when it came to stranded passengers. Storms cause me to miss my connecting flight and then after several hours of waiting to get on my next flight it was cancelled. I saw Hyatt while riding the skylink to get to my next flight. So while I was waiting in line to get a flight next morning, I called the Hyatt and booked a room for the night. After a long day of delayed and cancelled flights, I was looking forward to having a few hours of rest before I had to go back to the airport. Asides from being extremely close to Terminal C at DFW Airport, I don't have many good things to say about this hotel. My husband and I spent four nights in this hotel while attending Texas Frightmare Weekend which also happened at the hotel. Other than two rude encounters with a valet employee everything was great just as it had been on past stays. This is probably going to be a long review, but overall we love the hotel. Even with the encounters we had with "rude valet guy", I can't knock off a star because everyone and everything else was exceptional. Expect 4* hotel prices for food and such and you won... Read more

King sized room with princess balcony was very clean and spacious. The balcony and updated bathrooms made for a fun and enjoyable experience. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, though check in was slow due to few front desk staff. Convenience makes this hotel even better. Pool wasn't spectacular but having a dip less than 30 mins after a long flight is worth it. Hotel provides shuttle drop off and pick up so take advantage, even if you're in the closest terminal (C).

Grand Hyatt was sold out so I ended up at the Hyatt Regency. You do have to take a shuttle from the Regency, whereas the Grand is directly connected. With a 5:30am departing flight I would have much rather taken an escalator than a shuttle. Room was clean enough, but definitely dated. If you have a choice choose the Grand Hyatt.

We booked this hotel for one night due an early morning flight out of DFW. We returned our rental car that night, took the shuttle to Terminal C and had a quick walk to the Hyatt Regency. I would not recommend the walk if you have a large suitcase, but it was fine with our carry-ons. There are staircases that you won't be able to roll your bag up and down.
