We had a great time over Memorial Day Weekend. We enjoyed walking out of the hotel to the beach and Lexington. We ate fresh seafood at nearby restaurants. We enjoyed the Saturday all you can eat breakfast buffet. I like parking the car for the entire visit!

Took family for short summer trip. Chose the Radisdon for its proximity to our destinations. Swimming pool and hot tub were inoperable during our stay. Plenty fresh towels on daily basis and excellent desk service.

I'll start by saying that Corpus Christi is the beach town you go to when you're desperate to be at the ocean without having to drive far. There are no 5-star hotels here and only one 4-star, and this one isn't it. There are good and bad things to report, so you just have to weigh it all out to see if it's a fit for you. So here goes: Location: This hotel sits across the bridge from downtown on North Beach. It's probably the nicest hotel in this section (I've stayed at one other), but that's no... Read more

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and aquarium. You can see the Lincoln ship from the beach. Great pool amenities, staff overall was very kind. Bar tender was a little rude, but otherwise good experience. Wish the trash cans in the room were a little bigger.

Building needs remodeling, had two maintenance issues shortly after checking in and though they were taken care of immediately I just find it unacceptable for what it costs to stay there. Great staff.

Great place. I love staying here. The ocean view with all the port activity is lovely. The only problem I had is that the air conditioner was very loud. But I didn't complain or report it. I stay here frequently and always enjoy the stay.

The description of this place is grander than the reality. To be fair, it was a crisp, clean room with thick, soft towels. Another plus: the USS Lexington is right next door and a good museum. The hotel is right on the beach, but North Beach is not what it looked to be. The wind whipped so hard that the sand blasted our skin and eyes. We did not spend a minute on the beach. The volleyball nets were cheap & weak, chairs and umbrellas were supposed to be available for rent, but no one was around. ... Read more

Very busy place. It is obvious why though. We can't wait to stay again this winter when it is not so busy. It was impossible to get in the hot tub(one reason we chose this hotel) due to the 20 or so people that were in it for hours. The pool was awesome though. Rooms were spacious and exactly as described. A/c was perfect.

It was awesome we were close to the Corpus Christi beach. I booked the wrong date of stay and they accommodated us but with a higher fee. I paid because we were already there. Room wasn't to be ready until 4 and about an hour later they called it was ready. The room was also an upgrade we were facing the beach. Pool was nice there was down sand in it from people coming in from the beach to the pool. The only thing I had an issue with was the water in the shower it was hot. Almost unbearable. At ... Very beautiful hotel. Large lobby was nicely decorated. Large rooms made it very nice for my family of 5. The only thing about the rooms was that I felt for as nice as everything else was, the bathroom could have used an update. Was on the small side and fixtures were out of date. They do not offer continental breakfast but do have a breakfast buffet available. Just check the price before helping yourself.....you may not want to pay $46 for breakfast!! When planning our Corpus vacation, I chose the Radisson due to its location. It is on the beach as well as within walking distance of local restaurants and attractions. We stayed two nights/three days. Checking in was quick and easy. We were up to our room before the kids could get restless. The room was a delight. There were a lot of LARGE families at this property during our summer stay, and they can be overwhelming. The hotel staff, and the hotel itself make up for this! I did join the Carlson Group when I booked this room, but it was my first stay so I didn't expect any special treatment. I was given an opportunity to pre-check in, a small bag with water and snacks, and my request for a view of the Lexington was honored - very attentive staff (thank you, Tracie!). First and foremost if you are traveling to Corpus hotel is a last preference over weather, location and things to do. Radisson is very strategically located for a 3 year old kid family visiting corpus. My hotel room had a very good view and was upgraded to higher floor due to lean season. Hotel staff was very courteous and breakfast was awesome and reasonably priced. Best point is location as it has a good beach access along with main kids attraction within walking distances.

First off I stayed at this hotel on a busy 4th of July weekend. Check in was great and the front desk staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. This was a much needed getaway for my fiancé and I. The room was very clean and nicely updated. On our first night there we went out on our balcony. Over all a good location for visiting the Lexington, the aquarium and sitting on the beach. Like the location to the restaurants available and touristy shopping. Not a good location for small and young children. Lots of restaurants, but all are bars and not the most family friendly for meals after 7pm.

The location is good but breakfast of some sort should be included for the cost of the room. $9-14 for breakfast ($2 for coffee) is not acceptable when area hotels that cost 2/3 to 3/4 as much offer a free continental breakfast. I was there for work (which started at 7:30 am on the Lexington and the Bali Restaurant, in the hotel, doesn't open till 7:00) and driving to a fast food restaurant was an inconvenience. We stayed at the Radisson while on business in Corpus Christi. The view was wonderful and the staff was great. The appear to be updating the hotel and I thought the price for the room was a little high during remodeling. The bathrooms were small, but the idea of Corpus Christi is to be on the beach, not in the bathroom. It was a pleasant stay. Blackbeard's is across the street, so no worrying about driving back to the hotel after a few drinks.
