I run beach to bay each year. I booked this hotel because the omni was overbooked. The room was a decent size and comfortable. I had issue with the smell in the hall ways, a little damp and odd smell. In the morning there was no coffee available, which was a bummer. I ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was good but I ended up taking my food to go because the service was bad.

Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, nice and comfortable rooms, high speed internet and the hot tub was a cherry on the top. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Portland or even in Corpus Christi. Thank you very much.

Spent a night at the hotel. he restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner & closes a bit too early at lunch time. 1300 hrs. The room was good but the location is around a rundown area. Acceptable for an overnight stay in transit.

A lobby that looks like Embassy Suites, rooms like a low budget motel, and service that almost redeemed this stay. Only a $7-10 breakfast, a lounge, and around the clock coffee are available. We chose this location for THSWPA State Power Lifting Competition, mostly for the indoor pool and hot tub. These need to be cleaned and scrubbed. Sometimes pool towels were available. Of the amenities, the staff had to bring up fridges and microwaves, explaining that the rooms had recently undergon... Read more

This hotel is wonderful, the front desk clerk (Jazmin) was very kind and nice. After traveling for several days this hotel had the best service. I highly recommend any one to stay in this hotel. The room are spacious, comfortable and smelled great. Even though my stay was short, due to bad weather, I am definitely returning and staying here. Make sure and have breakfast the omelet was delicious and the service is excellent, they are very attentive to your needs, it is all worth it. Also th... Read more

This was our first visit here. We were in room 106 on the first floor. Overall, our stay was good. I think the rooms were recently renovated and they seemed nice. But it still had some cosmetic issues, and an area behind the door that was not vacuumed (see photos). Our carpet was also wet in the entryway on the left. Not sure what that was from. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable. The mattress is covered in plastic, so every time I moved, I risked waking my baby up. So I didn't sleep well... Read more

Average airport hotel, where you get what you pay for, and nothing more. A ok bed near the airport. If that's what you need, this is the hotel you should choose. Didn't try the dinner or lunch restaurant, but the breakfast was served as a buffet, but really small and nothing to choose, compared to the price. If you need breakfast, it's better to by it at the airport restaurant. Properly not the place I go for next time, but you never know.

There are good and bad points about this place. The good: very convenient to airport, comfortable bedding and room amenities, large and interesting lobby with available coffee. The price was also good. BUT I was annoyed because I could not get WiFi to work with my devices. Check in was a little slow. No coffee cups in room for in-room brewing machine. You know, the minor kinds of stuff that annoys but does does not really matter in the big picture. Plus, when I have to stay in a Holiday I... Read more

This hotel is far past due for updating. The corner cutting is obvious in every facet of the property. At 8 am the pool was trashed. Wet, dirty towels everywhere. Trash all over the pool deck. Watched at least five employees walk by and simply ignore it. Gym was completely trashed and unusable. Trash was stacked in the corners. It's actually quite amazing how dirty the place was for 8 am. Check in was pleasant and easy. Room was outdated and musty. There are better Holiday Inns in... Read more

I booked a 1 King bedroom with a package deal that came with complimentary breakfast for a family of four and four texas state aquarium tickets. Upon check in, Christine the front desk agent was clueless on where to retrieve my tickets for the aquarium. Christine stated that she will have somebody open up the box and she will come to my room and give me the tickets, well...she didn't follow through. Around 10pm the same day, I confronted the front office manager about the incident and after wait... Read more

Older hotel that was worth the under 100 dollar price a night. Indoor pool and hot tub decent but aged. Restaraunt blah. Bar decent. Front desk staff so so. Tubs kinda stained. View horrible over a cement factory. For a night before a flight. Or a place in bad weather to take kids. Greatness. But to stay more than a night or two. For more than a hundred a night. I'd be really upset. Cute fountain area and small aquarium in the front lobby. Watching an Indian group get ready for a huge celebratio... Read more

Stayed here one night and had a great rest. The staff were very responsive and the room clean and comfortable. Had supper at the restaurant where Tony and Tory were spot on with re-filling tea glass. I've stayed here a few times and I have to say the property has improved a great deal. Tv channel choices abundant, shower water pressure excellent, towels nice an fluffy, and hot water very hot. Thank you to the staff for putting up with me. A property I will gladly return to again.

The hotel itself is quite impressive, very new and modern looking. The lobby is quite impressive, as well as the entrance to the hotel, with great curb appeal from the road. The rooms are adequate, but some of the immedities were missing. There was no fridge in the room, however there was a spot for a fridge. The ice machine just outside of the room on the 4th floor was as loud as a generator running 24 hours a day. Room service came knocking on the door around 8:30am or so. I purchased a ... Read more

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was an ok stay. The rooms were kind of outdated yet clean. The pool and spa area was absolutely disgusting! The water was tinted green and yellow and the Jacuzzi was filthy as well with dirt collected in the bubbles. Other than that the staff was pretty nice. Would I stay here again? Probably not but it was doable for the amount time we were in Corpus Christi. The price was reasonable considering it was the Fourth of July weekend. Would I recommend? I guess it would d... Believe it or not there is a classy bar out on Leopard St. at the Holiday Inn Airport. Go there Tuesday through Friday and Jenny will likely be your bartender. And what a lovely one she is! You can call ahead and inquire about who is tending the bar. The place is quiet and peaceful with sports on the widescreen. Jenny will make you one of the very best top shelf Margaritas you will ever taste. Food is amazing. Steaks are hand cut on premise and hamburgers are to die for. A perfect place to while... Read more

So I took a trip down to Corpus for some much needed time off. I arrived in Corpus early Friday morning and it was kind of a rough morning nothing going my way. When I called the Holiday Inn to ask what time I could check in at (after having requested an early check in) they gave me a sense of relief for once when I was able to check in sooner then I had anticipated. So when I walked through the double doors my mind was blown at how big the lobby was. Check in was a breeze all the hotel staff me... Read more

Overall a decent hotel. Food at the restaurant is pretty good and prices in line with what other hotels typically charge. The room I had was nice. The area the hotel is in isn't the best. Very industrial and drug addicts abound. Car stays safe though in the well lit parking lot. If you need to do any work that involves the internet, either bring a hot spot or book elsewhere. No paid high speed tier, and the free wifi is worse than dial-up. Not exaggerating. Retail prices for this hotel are... Read more

Terri Thomson was incredible. She was so accomidating and informative. We had a baby shower Saturday August 27,2016. We had 120 people and they fit perfectly in the hall we had it in. If we ever have another event in corpus again this location will be on the top of my list.

in line with the recent post/review from rflores22, i also had trouble with the staff after booking on Priceline. . We called the Front Desk after making the booking. Since I was traveling with others, we needed separate beds, not a single queen. We received a considerable about of push-back from the front desk staff before being switched to an appropriate room. We took the actions by the staff as ridiculing us by booking through the third-party retailer. We were less than pleased. On a bright s... Read more

I usually can count on the holiday for fast check in and clean rooms. The first room I was scheduled to be in was getting worked on. I arrived at 9:25pm it was a mess. So back down from the sixth floor to the counter she did give me a suite and it was nice. By 10:30 I was finally in bed. The bar was closing because they were not busy. And the restaurant was closed at 10:00 I picked this one of the many holiday Inns because they had two pools. Well that may be the case but the size matters! I'm a... Read more

While the surrounding location left much to be desired, I absolutely loved the Executive Suite. It was huge, Kitchenette, living area and bedroom, bath. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Only drawback was that we only stayed for one night, arrived late and had to leave early in the morning for our scheduled appointments!

This hotel needs a major upgrade pertaining to the rooms. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms. The a/c is very noisy and the air coming out of the a/c vent smells like mildew. Tv entertainment is basic. One positive note is there is plenty of parking.

Outside of hotel and the lobby are excellent and VERY deceiving! When you get to the room you will be absolutely shocked! The first room we arrived in was disgustingly dirty so we had to call the front desk to get another room. When we got to our second room it was just as bad, if not worse!
