Comfortable and space rooms. We arrived on a friday evening and were greeted with a warm smile by the staff at the front desk. We had reserved three rooms and since i am a Hilton Honors Gold Member we received a welcome goodie bag for each room. This made the kids day :) There are lots of things to do in College Station, we took the kids to hang out at the Grand Statiion Entertainment center (food, video games, laser tag, and bowling. I travel a lot for work, so Hilton is always my first choice. However, this was a personal trip and we were looking for a pet-friendly hotel. The staff put us in a room that was close to one of the exterior exits so that we could easily take the dogs out. I was also allowed a late check-out which lessened the stress of trying to pack up before leaving to go to the graduation ceremony.

After a bad experience in NewYork and a so-so experience in LasVegas this one surpassed my expectations. Modern, small and very good hotel. Rooms are like apartments, and well decorated ones. Swimming-pool and basketball court! Ok breakfast. Located close to lots of restaurants. Really, really good experience!

6/17-18/16 We were in College Station to participate at Texas A&M swim meet.Room was great, we always stay at Homewood suites, we travel for sporting events for our kids around the southern US. The College Station Homewood is older but still very clean and in good shape. We rely on breakfast buffet to feed kids before sporting events and the food is usually excellent. We were in town for 5 nights and found everything to be excellent. The pool is a little small but was clean and that is the only issue I have with the entire stay. They provide a great hot and cold breakfast as well as appetizers each night if you are interested. The location to everything is perfect and there were many great places within walking distance. Our interaction with all the staff was fantastic and all our requests and needs were met immediately.

I wish there were a way to give this hotel a half star, but I feel its more deserving of 3 than 4. There are few things that make this hotel a great stay for the time I was visiting College Station: the location, the bed (super comfy) and the water pressure. There were several things that seemed run down, the ac was extremely loud every single night and didn't keep the room cool, the sliding closet doors in my room didn't want to budge so I couldn't use the closet space, the rooms are so close y... I just spend the weekend at the Homewood Suites with my family. We stayed in a room with one king and two queen beds. I must say that I was disappointed that the furniture and room style was dated. The rooms are huge, spacious, clean and really nice. They are also up to date to accommodate everyone's smart phones, mobile devices and plenty of charging stations and USB ports. My one issue, is the price. 270 a night! Companies use the excuse of supply and demand, but that is incorrect. Hotel companies jack the prices up, just for game weekends because they know people will need a place to stay and hotels use it as an opportunity to price gouge.

I stayed two nights in September 2016. I've stayed at a lot of Homewood Suites and I generally like them. This one was OK, but perhaps not as great as others I've stayed in. The AC in the room was REALLY loud - like a freight train coming through your room. When my upstairs neighbor used the shower, it was also very loud. I didn't hear any road noise.
