Stayed overnight for daughter's college graduation. Building is old. Room was so humid so I had to use AC all the time in order to keep room dry. Bathroom was dirty. I found chunk of hair from previous guest in a bathtub so I doubt if housekeeping did cleaned my room before I checked in. Internet was very slow and almost useless. Breakfast was OK.

This modest hotel is clean, functional and served me well during my 3-day business trip. The staff is nice and welcoming. Its location is not ideal. There are very few restaurants around. Breakfast is fine and the free water bottles is much appreciated.

I'll just give the highlights: - Bed was hard, springs too worn. - So humid in the room that sheets and towels felt wet. Air conditioner just spit out more humid air. - General smell of mold, and black mold on the shower wall. - Water so soft you could reconstitute the soap off your skin. - The toilet was probably sized for a toddler. - Breakfast was plastic eggs and rubber sausage. - And to finish the experience, I found a used enema kit in the closet. Just goes to show what the Hampton name me... Read more

The stay here was what one might expect coming to a college town like this: everything just average. But still better than some of the other choices here. Two issues need to be addressed: breakfast is extremely limited in choices (not even jelly/jam packets are available), and the floors of the common areas, including the elevators, need a scrubbing. The shuttle van service is good.

We stopped to see the college campus and found it very convenient. We were able to book the hotel on our phone without trouble and the location was clean and friendly. Easy internet access and basic breakfast.

clean and simple; near the north end of A&M--very convenient; the wood in the bathroom and desk area was a little worn; breakfast was typical fare--scrambled eggs (hot, but that didn't taste fresh), sl stale bagles, cereal, juices; good cookies in front lobby when we arrived, though; very quick check in and check out! very nice personnel; the hair drier didn't work; expect a low hum of AC (but overall quiet stay)

Stayed here with a soccer team for a week. All rooms do not have refrigerators/ microwaves in them. There is no hotel laundry room for people who are staying a week to use. The rooms had mold in them (on the ceiling). We had sick players and parents. The sofa beds in a king room would not accommodate 2 kids. They are single beds, but the room booked for 4. The staff worked very hard to accommodate our requests for room changes, refrigerators, etc, but the hotel was not equipped.

We were in town for a swim meet and we were completely satisfied with our stay at this Hampton Inn. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The front desk girl, Nikki was great! My girls LOVED the complimentary snacks (chips, cookies and candy bars) given at check in. Our room was very clean and beds were fairly comfortable. I would definitely stay at this Hampton Inn should we find ourselves in Aggieland again.

We just wanted a simple, clean stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't very clean with hairs that clearly had just been mopped around on the floor and the hair dryer also had hair stuck to the intake screen. The hotel appears new and fresh in photos but in reality it is tired. The hotel has tried to dress things up a bit, but you can't cover up several worn-down marks on the bathtub. was just very tired. The staff was very nice though.

A middle of the road Hampton that hopefully will receive an update fairly soon, as it's showing its age somewhat. Great location that you can walk to most places on Texas A&M campus. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms were small and took forever to cool. Housekeeping didn't clean our room until well after 5 pm. After a long day on the ball field, coming back to clean towels and a freshly made bed would have been nice. The channels on the guide sheet did not match what was on the tv and the channels were very limited. The overhead ambience light was a nice feature, though. Vents in the bathroom would have been nice.

The location is excellent for visiting Texas A&M. The staff was also excellent, especially Taylor, the shuttle driver. The rooms are much smaller than most Hamptons with no bathtubs, only a shower. The breakfast was good with real oatmeal, not instant.

Sticky floor in entry way. Could hear each sticky step. Hairs in tub. Luckily hair from head, but still gross! Mold in tub. After cleaning the room, they left 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper on the spindle and no extra rolls (3 ppl in the room) Air conditioner pumps out overly humid air, even when set at 60 degees! Could not sleep. First morning, There was no hot food or OJ for breakfast. Breakfast runs from 6:30-10, but ran out of food before 7:30. Ran out of eggs and not sure what was suppos... Read more

We are a retired couple that like to stay at Hampton Inns as they are fairly consistent. This one did not disappoint, it was clean, staff was friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. Buffett was standard fare but they had actual hard boiled eggs.

Friendly staff, Clean facilities, however the hallways were warm and humid, but AC worked great in the room. Double Room and BR tight as was the fitness center. Rate higher due to summer activity in College Station, so the Value proposition was skewed.

We were in the area for the Texas Harvest Wine Trail. The hotel was conveniently located near the seven wineries that we visited for the 2 day event. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. Everything in the room worked. We were only there for 1 night, however it was great. The hotel is also down the street from A&M, so if you're ever in the area and need a place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm normally very satisfied with Hampton Inns but the carpet in my room had very clearly not been cleaned at all in a very long time. I had to lay down towels to walk on or my feet would be covered in other people's hair and dirt.

The TV had a bad HDMI cable connection that would either loose the connection entirely or provide a bad signal on some of the channels. The room remained humid as well. Staff was very nice and did their best to help and ultimately didn't charge me for the night. Breakfast worked fine for me. I jogged to the Tx A&M engineering bldgs in the morning - very close. Had dinner at the World of Beer at the corner. Good restaurant.

Hilton hotels are already known for their good quality and cleanliness and this hotel meets all of the requirements. Very friendly and professional staff, very clean rooms, and a meticulous breakfast offering of fresh foods. Business area is only a stand in the main lobby, but everything else is great. This is your basic low end, easy in/easy out business hotel. It has a free breakfast and none of the hassles of an upper end business hotel. It is about 1 mile from TAMU. Not close enough to walk. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance (some as close as a 2 minute walk). The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. It seems like most rooms have 2 double beds. Maybe this is to cater to families that come to visit TAMU on college tours. I would have liked a... Read more

Wonderful experience staying at the Hampton Inn. We have stayed here before and will stay again. The room is a decent size with frig and microwave. The king size bed was comfortable with both soft and medium pillows. The free breakfast had a variety of items that were fresh and plentiful like bacon and eggs, waffles, assorted cereals, etc. You can't beat the proximity to Texas A&M but the best part of our entire stay was the professional and friendly staff!

Moved in daughter to her apartment. Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Her friend parked at the hotel parking lot after we moved out for a few hours due to the chaos at the apartment complex (not overnight). Car was towed and no shuttle service to impound lot until the next day. Front desk staff and manager never bothered to call us back when we tried to explain the situation. Will never stay at this hotel again even though it is closest to my daughter's apartment.

Long story short. We came to town to visit some old college friends. Check in was smooth till we were given the wrong type of room.
