My son booked this hotel room for me when I went to visit him in April. I was very pleased with the room. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The hotel was located amid restaurants and coffee shops and shopping. Nice bar area close to the pool. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

On arrival, it was a quick check in, reception was helpful. The room was great, clean and great artwork. The location is awesome within walking distance 3 minutes to many bars , restaurants, music and even the mall. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Overall great stay, great hotel and great value for money with great location. EXCELLENT....

I stayed here for business. I like the location because it is right next to the office and there is plenty of food options. Shopping is right next door as well. Staff was very friendly and room was good. Looks just like the pictures. Good grab & go options for food and drink when you are in a hurry or don't want to go out. I'll stay here again.

This hotel is trying way too hard to be trendy. My room was not it great shape, the walls had obvious patches, there was tape on the wall over the tv and the carpet seemed very worn. The air conditioning was either freezing cold or doing nothing, there was not much of an in between. It took the staff almost 2 hours to get me connected to the Internet. In the end all they had to do was restart their router. (Should have started there) The parking garage that provided the parking had elevators t... Read more

Extremely informed staff and very friendly. I wouldn't stay on the second floor above the bar next door it was noisy until about 1pm, but everything else was nice, clean and in a perfect location. The welcome kit contained water and snacks. I'm not sure if I received it because I was a member or if it was standard. The bed was very comfortable. We also received $10 each morning per person for the snack/hot sandwich area. We used them for gum, water and fruit to go each day. Great air conditioni... Read more

The domain n Austin is really nice area and aloft is a nice hotel in the perfect location There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the walking distance, which was critical for me as for the person who doesn't drive so pluses: location free wi-fi room was ok helpful stuff minuses: breakfast, however you will have a lot of choices around a bit noisy, because there is a parking lot just across the street

Not unlike other Aloft properties, Aloft at the Domain was inviting, comfortable, and affordable. Located in The Domain area of Austin, the Aloft is located steps from a number of good restaurants, bars, and high-end retail. Parking is a bit odd, as you need to use public parking garages that are located around the property. From the greeting received at check-in, to the friendly service received at the XYZ bar, I enjoyed my short stay there and would return.

Loved this place! The staff were very accommodating, beds were extremely comfy, rooms were nicely decorated, and the hotel itself is in a perfect location. Bar in lobby has great drinks, fabulous selection of different liquors and beers, and a very good bartender! Will definitely return to this location when visiting Austin again!

Booked this hotel for my oversea business trip. The rooms was clean and neat, which helped a lot to avoid the jet lag problem. The room layout was not conventional but I found quite comfortable and smart. The neighborhood is surrounded by boutique shops and nice restaurants: there's also wholefood market within walking distance.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel, and there was a pretty strong change from last time. Overall though, it's a good location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance, but I did miss not having valet parking like before. Now, you have to find a place in the huge garage behind the hotel and then hike back to the hotel. It's very inconvenient. But it is nice to have covered parking in the Austin heat. I also with there was a chair in the room other than the desk chair. Ot... Read more

I could copy/paste almost every Aloft hotel review, which is a good thing. Unlike many older brands, all Alofts are modern and very consistent in their experience. The rooms are always modern and as expected. A good value in a good, business- friendly location. The Domain is a cool spot to be at, too.

This is a 6-story Aloft in the midst of a planned retail community in northwest Austin. That's a great location except for the annoyance of always being stuck in the traffic of a large shopping mall. We loved being able to walk to Whole Foods (less than half a mile) or Starbucks for food and drink but they have to provide an easier way to get to and from the hotel when driving. We have stayed at a dozen different Alofts and really love the concept and consistency, but this one disappointed ... Read more

Well maintained, clean, but did not find it to be a very comfortable stay. The loft design with open areas meant limited privacy especially in the bathroom area. The staff was great and for a quick night it suffices but for any extended stay I would not recommend. The area of town seems remote, desolate even though upscale shopping is nearby.

I normally stay in the aloft Dallas and was Pleasently suprised to find the Austin aloft pretty similar. Rooms are almost identical. The gym is great for early morning workout. The lobby perfect for getting out the laptop and catching up on mails. Nice bar there's a fantastic barman mike who is a guru on all the drinks and a master cocktail maker. Had the best gin martini ever. Only downside for me is breakfast. Alofts don't have a full kitchen so you can't even get and omelette.

We stayed one night at the Aloft Austin at the Domain. The room is small however it is such an efficient use of space. All the staff were very pleasant to interact with. Will at the check in desk was very helpful in explaining the Aloft brand and property features. The Domain is such a happening area just like we like and will definitely stay here whenever we are in Austin

Enjoyed the hotel, location and staff. Would have given 5 stars if not for minimal worn/raveled carpeting, slight odor possibly from the individual a/c units and cleanliness. The a/c units were covered in dust along with base trim and the bathrooms needed a really good cleaning ALL the way into corners of shower and dressing area. if cleanliness improves, excellent hotel!

Had an amazing experience at the Aloft. Business brought me to Austin for my first time. 10 days total, the comfortable beds made my stay enjoyable. Only complaint is the 2.5 foot pool, though I spent every evening in it to cool off. The XYZ Bar was great after long work days, Mike the Bartender had my IPA flowing before I even sat down! Cozy, quiet and comfortable, walking distance from incredible restaurants in The Domain and Rock Rose District.

Fabulous service here! Ang at the front desk was sweet and accommodating after a horrible experience at the La Quinta across the way. We were in a rush trying to make a movie, and Ang went out of her way to get us settled in our room, make sure everything was satisfactory, and even called a shuttle to get us to the theater on time. My only small complaint was housekeeping knocked at 10am on a Saturday morning, so make sure you put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door if you want to sleep in.

Yes the interior is hip and cool. But it is not for me. It is more like a budget hotel. The beds are hard. I could hear through the walls. Shampoo in wall dispenser like a camp ground. Also be aware if you share a room with friends, you can see in the shower from the bed. There is no closet, only a cubby with hooks and no door. Lastly, there are no curtains. Only plastic pull down shades that do not block all light, so no napping or sleeping in. Again, it has a cool vibe, but I would not stay ag... Read more
