Spacious room, very clean, with the usual 'perks' like Internet, ice box, microwave, and hair dryer with one addition...an actual three burner cook top. The bed was comfortable and even the couch made out into a bed for that 'third' person. Overall the hotel was in good shape although we did see ONE cockroach roaming the hallway.

My wife & I stayed here for a quick winter get away. We have stayed her before. The room had a kitchenette, a queen bed, & four great pillows. The room was quite. The breakfast was simple but good. It included scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and apples were available. No yogurt though. They had cold cereal, too. Not many guest for mid-January.

Arrived late but staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Very helpful with dining recommendations, and shopping. Room was already comfortable for three, and staff was able to get a folding bed for our fourth person. Not many hotels with two queen beds are set up with a cushioned window sill big enough to be a twin size bed. Great location close to fast food and restaurants, as well as a grocery and liquor store.

Room was nice and clean, a little small, but not too bad, hotel was clean, breakfast was on time and hot and good. They let us check in early on our day of arrival...which was VERY helpful. The WiFi was slow, but they were working on it and we were on vacation, so wasn't really concerned. Special kudos to George the maintenance guy who was not only helping with keeping the place clean and maintained, but also was taking care of the guest, bringing pool towels and suggesting fun local events t... The staff was great, room clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub was close to our room and a lot of fun, they had shade so you could enjoy being by the pool and not get cooked by the sun. The morning breakfast was very good.

Was in room 103 june 10-13. Really loved the hotel. Room was very clean. Good selection on the tv. Good water pressure. The only bad thing is my card was charged $103.00 extra and nobody is returning my calls. Very disappointing because we come from dfw 5 or 6 times a year and would come back in a heartbeat. But now i have to leave work early to go have my bank take care of these charges nobody wants to fix.

This was my second time staying here due to the fact that my first stay went so well. The rates are so much better than Port Aransas and the trip to the ferry is about 6 miles. The rooms are Clean and the staff friendly. They have a small pool and spa.

Clean, good servce, decent breakfast. My only complaint is that Aransas Pass isn't a great beach location during a mid-June Weekend due to ferry delays (45 minutes to beach at 7 PM Friday; 50 minutes returning at 12:15 AM Saturday evening)

Good location not far from anything. Single queen room is very small even for 2 people. Tub would not drain the first day, but was promptly fixed. The rooms are getting dated since my first stay there ie shower curtain rods drooping, linens and mattress showing it's age nail holes in walls and cabling hanging here and there. The property was clean and the staff friendly. Came in one late night and the desk clerk was playing cards with friends at the tables, but did acknowledge us and asked if we... Read more

Bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean and near HEB and a Stripes convenience store. Fishing and swimming nearby. Room was a little too tight and had no fridge or microwave. The volume on the TV would not increase so that was disappointing. Due to the issues mentioned, this hotel will be my second choice next time.

Our room smelled like a wet towel had been left in a gym bag work a couple of weeks. When we asked the for an air freshener they said they would take care of it, which meant give us your key and we will wait till you come back from fishing and escort us to our room to spray what I can only assume was lysol from the overwhelming odor and headache that followed. The pool was tiny and had trash all around it and no towels. The only good thing about the stay was the breakfast. It was pretty goo... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because we got to our vacation one day early and our condo wasnt available yet. This was the SMALLEST room I have ever stayed in! MICROtel is a perfect name. Aside from needing to find a new paint guy (big chunks of paint were off a lot of the walls) it was clean. The breakfast was small but adequate. In the end, it would be fine if we had to stay here again, but it wouldn't be our first choice.

My first microtel! Just what you need! Clean and affordable. Good hot breakfast. Only strange part was they only change your sheets on the third day of your stay. If you request they will give you another set of sheets. FYI Big full wall mirror as the headboard.

The stay while there was fairly good besides my 8 yr old finding a pack of cigarettes under the bay window mat. Other that it was very clean and the staff was freindly. I rated a 2 bc they are continuing to charge us daily after we checked out as if we are still there. We spoke with several employees and two managers who seem to be oblivious on how to fix the problem. One manager told us he would have it fixed by the end of the day. Room was as expected for a motel. Not enough tables for the breakfast area. Once something ran out if it was close to time to end you are out of luck. Killed roach in restroom - advised front desk was told they spray twice a month. Minor repairs needed in the room due to corner sheet rock cover being loose due to having to squeeze into the bed. Said queen size beds but closer to a double beds.

The hotel room was clean, it smelled great, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk was very nice, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. She was also very helpful to me and my travel companion. Breakfast was awesome! Hot and ready at 7 am when I stepped out there. The pool was nice, and busy. The only concern I had was that neither the sink or the shower drained out after use in my room. I informed the clerk the morning as I checked out. Hope it will be fixed before I return. :)

Everything about our stay was great, except for the fact that they tested the fire alarms twice without fair warning, which scared us to death because we were sleeping due to the fact that we fished overnight and slept in. Perhaps a note on the doors the day or evening prior to inform guests can be done, so guests like myself don't come rushing out of my room half dressed, screaming at my kids to get out. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, and will stay again, if we are in the area.

My son and I had a great stay. When I arrived at the hotel I was given a room that wasn't quite ready. I didn't mind because it showed that they actually were cleaning the room from top to bottom. The staff was very rude! Not very social at all and you wouldn't get any response. They told my daughter she was disturbing the hotel by going up the escalator to get aloe Vera from my mother in law. When I asked my daughter she said she was very quiet. In my opinion I think the girl at the front desk was trying to get her in trouble because we complained about the outsiders being allowed into the pool area.
