Drivers have to look out for the Super 8 sign and pole when approaching hotel as it is partially hidden behind other hotels and restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable, reception staff helpful and friendly. It was the only time I have stayed in a hotel where my room was serviced when I was at Breakfast.

We had a very good stay here with very few problems. Our room was clean and was a nice size. The location is quiet and the room access is inside the building. The free breakfast was nice but the only thing missing from the lineup was decaf coffee (I can't handle caffeine anymore). The front desk clerk on check-in was a little hard to understand due to her foreign accent, but she was nice. I would stay here again in the future.

Wife and I stayed one night and had no problems. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Very nice staff, room was clean and tidy. Property appears to be short on funds and so things like faucets don't match and one of the towels was very thread bare. Our TV wouldn't change channels and the person immediately tried to fix it (and couldn't). She offered another room, but we were fine. I would stay here again because of the pleasantness of the staff.

I have stayed at Super 8 motels in Fort Stockton, South Carolina, north Texas and recommended the Super 8 chain to friends but this trip (motel stays May 11 through May 16) has really been a downer. Except for Fort Stockton, breakfasts consisted of waffles, total. We stopped at McDonald's for sausage biscuit. At Willcox, AZ the coke machine took my money. It took my first dollar; I inserted another dollar and gave me a soda. I inserted another dollar and had to insert another dollar for the... Read more

We had lots of room, but our bathroom was not clean. There was hair on the floor and the tub looked dingy.

Booked a room for 1 night based on a recommendation from a coworker (based solely on price). When I arrived, first thing I noticed was the stale smell throughout the motel. Got even worse inside my alleged non-smoking room. Room appeared clean but for some reason, the sheets had me scratching all night. Checked out in morning but then 2 days later, I got upset when I noticed they placed a second day's charge on my card. Tried to get it resolved and the clerks, although they were courteous an... Don't get me wrong, it's old, but clean and Ricky the manager is really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great. If you want a good deal for a nice place to overnight, I'd recommend.

We tried to let the manager know that there was spiders in our room and he blamed it on us, the fact we had a service dog, he said it was the service dog bringing the spiders in. Don't bother using the so call laundry room its a waste of time and money our clothes never got clean in the washer and we used $10 to try to dry 1 small load of clothes and still ended up having to hang them to dry toll we maded it to the laundry mat the next day

Excellent value, friendly staff very helpful. Rooms nicely decorated and very clean. Very impressed by this hotel. Great travel stop. Palo Duro Canyon nearby. A must see not far from this hotel. Highly recommended

Bath tub drain didn't work. Outside door wouldn't close. Rate quoted on phone wasn't honored. Breakfast was disappointing.

The only reason we stayed at the super 8 was because we had a last minute car emergency and could not find a room. This was the only place that had room available. For a super 8 it was okay. We usually stay at an Embassy Suites or a Hilton. We got in around 12am and checked in. Then went back to the car to get our things. Once we came back in the check in lady had walked to our room. When we walked in she was there standing by the bed with the door open. I guess she was in there to check on the ... Read more

I luv this place. David and his family are great. They treat us like family. Great rooms, comfortable beds, nice suites, and great service if anything is needed. I have stayed here about 4 to 5 times from May to Now (June)and going back this last week of June.

we had a comfortable, clean room without worrying about my pet allergies as this motel does not take pets. I wish more places would at least set aside some pet free rooms for people like me. we got up for Breakfast and found very limited choices, even less than most. no bagels two kinds of cold cereal, some muffins, waffles. the standard offerings. the bread was in the bread wrapper. I ended up with a muffin, my husband a bowl of cereal and we stopped a little later for a real breakfast.

While I am a bit adventurous, there was no need for any level of concern at this motel. While there are some areas that could be updated, it was clean, comfortable, and affordable- exactly what I needed after a long day's drive. I will stay again next time I am in the Panhandle!

We stopped here on our way to New Mexico and were very pleased. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and we felt safe. We didn't eat breakfast because it was all carbs, but we didn't expect anything different.

It is a smoking hotel. The hallway to our room smelled HORRIBLE from cigarette smoke. Plus, no air conditioning in the hallway (makes smoke much worse). The room looked nice from a distance. Beds were clean and great. The refrigerator had sticky stuff spilled all over the top of the door. Not clean throughout the room. Spills on the alarm clock and hair in the bathroom. We were desperate for a room. It is very deceiving because it looks clean and nice from afar.

1st problem: room was filthy! 2nd problem: turned back the sheets and someone had previously peed in the bed...big dried pee spot! Pee spot went through the sheet and mattress pad....so not just a stained sheet. Problem 3: when I called to let them know I was told I could go to the desk and pick up a new set of sheets and change it myself!

The hotel was fairly comfortable and clean. We were pleased to be upgraded to a suite at no extra harge. However, there was just one shampoo, no conditioner, too few towels, breakfast items were not refilled although there were several guests waiting to eat. When we asked for extra towels and shampoo, we did not get them.

There was no "hot" breakfast. We went down at 7:30AM for the "free" breakfast. There were only dry cereals and 3 muddings in plastic wrap and coffee. Not what we are used to.

When I stay at a Super 8, I expect a no frills cheap clean room. In Amarillo today, such rooms are going for $43-$70 on Hotels.com. This room was $124. No elevator and upstairs. The room was too hot to sleep in (A/C was off). The fan didn't work in the bathroom. The fluorescent light fixture in the bathroom had no bulbs, so it was dim. There was no room to sit in the breakfast nook at the included breakfast the next morning, no fruit, so I just grabbed a cup and split. There was a nice j... Read more

Generally not clean, internet in lobby did not work & desk clerk made no effort to find out why. Woman desk clerk belched in my face and made no apology. Perhaps it is a cultural thing with immigrants from Pakistan or India.

The room was dirty & in horrible condition. The sink let off a horrible sewer smell each time the water was turned on. The floor in the shower looked like it had never been cleaned. The hotel was hot & the a/c in the room barely cooled it off. The breakfast area was disgusting, would not eat anything out of there. On the plus side the staff was very friendly. Not sure if I will ever be able to stay at another Super 8.

When you ask the staff the question they didn't know, the pool was supposed to be heated ask about it they didn't know, at breakfast had to keep asking before they brought it out
