Traveling thru on the way back to my home in Wyoming. The staff was excellent and very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The rates were great and the location was great, with easy access to the interstate and local restuarants.

It was a Red Roof Inn in Amarillo Texas. It got the job done. The free breakfast was fine, the room was fine, the pool was there, the wifi was more or less fine. Check in took a little longer than I was expecting, but I had nowhere else to be, so I didn't really mind.

This was a wonderful astound late around evening time. We experienced difficulty finding an inn at a better than average cost and continued driving. The woman at the front work area was well disposed and got us a room rapidly. The room was recently revamped and clean...just lovely. We rested soundly and got up to a magnificent mainland breakfast. At the cost, this was exactly what we required. The outside pool looked decent too. I will stay here once more. I am stunned to peruse negative audits ... Read more

We found everything okay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a average good breakfast. It's an average motel and a good option to stay for one or two nights. We found everything okay and nothing bad...a good stay for a good price

Hotel backs up to an old trailer park. Not the safest of environments. Check in and desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room and furniture need updating. Very old scratched and abuses furniture inside. Bathroom and tub needs replacement. Too many temp fixes. Breakfast was included but minimal at best. In the end you get what you pay for and this payment was borderline not worth it.

What you will get - Efficient staff, good working shower, comfortable bed, very little traffic noise. Also not bad location with several restaurants in walking distance. Beyond that, not much. Property badly in need of major upgrade, looks pretty shabby. Breakfast area small, easily overwhelmed by morning mob. Fortunately a Denny's almost next door.

Everything was good--clean room, fresh sheets, good breakfast! Good area to stay in--close to any place you would want to go. Easy to get to from the interstate and easy to get back on the interstate! Friendly and very helpful staff!

It's not the Ritz but on this trip, I spent 2X as much at a Microtel that had NO mini fridge or microwave. I liked that the carpet is gone and now have laminate floors. Better for pets, plus my cat stayed free. Must note though that WIFI was bad. Could not stream Netflix. Kept disconnecting from Internet. One more thing--Front desk people were great. Friendly & helpful. They even gave a courtesy call to my room to check that everything was okay with the room. Not even the places charging $100+ f... Read more

This is my first time staying at a Red Roof Inn. Not bad for the price. There was no extra charge for our cats. Front staff was friendly. The rooms were outdated, however they did have laminate flooring which I prefer over carpet which traps odors. There's a mini fridge in the room and free wi-fi although I did have trouble connecting. There was a continental breakfast (muffins, cereal, mini-waffles, juice, coffee, apples, biscuits and gravy).

This hotel was ok. Our room faced highway, but a/c drowned the traffic noise. Bed was soft, but I slept like log. Room clean. Laminate floors, microwave, refrigerator, dryer, ironing board, and laundry room. My hubby enjoyed the outdoor pool. Front desk staff was very kind and matched TripAdvisor price. Breakfast was neatly kept but lacked some. Little crowded. Waffle machine, cereals, biscuit gravy, toast, muffin, apples, juice. Would return.

We stayed here one night in June 2016 and had a pleasant stay. The room was on the smaller side, but was clean which is the most important thing to us. It is in a good location with plenty of shopping and dining options close by. The staff was friendly and made checking in and out very easy. We had a room in the front close to the interstate which did not bother us as we were tired when we returned to the room later at night, but if that sort of thing does bother you ask for a room in the bac... It was so bad I am not sure where to start. The employee at the front desk needed glasses because she kept getting about two inches from the computer to read it. The room was disgusting, there was two full beds and one was broken one one side because it slanted to one side and if you rolled over it sounded as if it was going to break. The air conditioner was so loud that NO ONE slept at all. When the air conditioner was turned on it smelled like the stockyard that was located across town.The... Read more

the first room we got smelled like pee. Then they were very nice and gave us a different room and you could tell it was masked with fabreeze. we stayed the night for it was late and we were beat. Around 2am I awoke to a nasty smell and could not wait to get back on the road. They need to replace all the bedding and burn the old stuff. The assistant manager was really nice and professional .

Great front desk staff, was the first thing that made me even consider writing a review. Andrea& Janeth took there time to make me fell as I was around family and friends. Very pleasant and great knowledge of local stores and general directions. Room was clean and neat . A/C worked to perfection and free WIFI was a plus.... Will be my place of stay anytime I'm in area.

My little girl, grandson, and I stayed here while we went to the hot air inflatable celebration. Strolling a few doors down to our room, there was a new, clean smell. The room itself was super perfect, the beds agreeable, and the pads were stunning. A little eating region first floor served a hot breakfast alongside grains. My little girl got an exceptionally sensible online rate. Would stay here once more!

We were trying to have a night away so we decided on Amarillo. Called two days ahead and reserved two rooms for my family. Specified bottom floor and rooms beside each other. I was a little concerned that my reservations would be correct when the girl on the phone was having serious problems understanding and speaking the English language. Upon arriving the girl at the front counter informed me that there were no reservations but she would be glad to put me in rooms on the second floor, opposite... Read more

Roomy, friendly, poor WiFi in back, clean rooms, nice amenities, continental bkfst with waffles, reasonsbly priced, mitary discounts. Many hotels off i-40 in Amarillo are a gamble. I prefer this hotel because it's within our price range and I can trust it's not a run-down spot. We've been coming here for years. Never disappointed. We travel a lot and I can't say how many times we think we are going to a reasonably priced hotel and find them in disrepair, bugs, poor hot water or pressure, no fri... Read more

This is another place where it is not well maintained. Pictures sometimes can not do justice. There was a smell that I can not pinpoint. Maybe it was our room that smells. I think one night of that place is enough.

.Good place to stay; pets are welcomed...Staff is great; Friendly, Courteous, and very helpful. Our room had a funny smell, could not determine if it was mildew or maybe they used too much chlorine bleach while cleaning it, but the ladies at the front desk gave us something to spray the room with, and it helped some. Breakfast is just okay; not bad, not great, not healthy. (most motels do not offer healthy food) The only hot item was waffles. ***Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would recom... Read more

This was my first time using a Red Roof Inn It had a feel of a motel and it looked like a motel but the room was clean. And the desk workers were very nice. By the looks of the place I expected the room to be dirty. They had free breakfast, but I did not try it. I eas not comfortable with the look of the dinning area.

A if you are needing a bed and not much more that is what this place is good for. It is old but efforts to keep it except able can be seen. Not many creature features but for the price except able. They do have a free breakfast but it is minimal. Beds are small and not high quality.

Clean and restful. Breakfast not appealing but food. Good staff, fairly comfortable, not the best but definitely not the worst. Pet friendly is a great perk. Wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been.

We were passing through and only needed to sleep for a few hours. The smell of the room was bad. And I guess there was a room close to us with smokers in it because we could smell it in our room. The bathroom floor and tub were dirty.

We've stayed here before but this will be our last visit. The hotel is getting shabby and dreary---definitely overpriced for the quality. Furniture in our room was scratched and toilet wobbled badly (room 105) when we sat down. This hotel is probably ok if you just need a place to sleep. Plenty of fast food nearby.

While traveling through Amarillo we stopped at this hotel. I had made a reservation that morning for a stay that night. After a long drive we pulled in to the hotel. Janeth greeted me at the front door and was very nice and quick with the check in. She even made sure we were on the bottom floor to make it easier on us and our dogs. The room was a good size and had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. There were plenty of towels and the beds were pretty comfortable. Even though it is right of... Read more

Average red roof inn... Room was clean and a good size but internet barely worked. If you are just looking for a cheap bed and shower for a night this place will work fine. But if you are looking for an extended stay if look else where, didn't try the breakfast but looked pretty basic.

This is not one of the better Red Roofs, it's not especially secure, or clean. The parking lot was dark, the latch on the door was falling off, things are generally run down and could use some attention. The breakfast was simple, toast, little muffins, coffee, but they don't allow you to take it back to the room, and there's not much room there in the nook to eat. Only 1 packet of coffee was in my room, so I snuck a cup of coffee back to my room. That really shouldn't be necessary. All in all, I... Read more

This has been my choice hotel for a very long time. Tried another hotel 1 night but check out and moved back the very next day. I will only be going here from now on. This motel is quite friendly and has fast food and sit down restaurant within walking distance. With truck parking lot on back street behind.
