We needed a place to crash for the evening. Made the reservation 30 minutes before arriving and was welcomed with a smile. The room was wonderful! Everything was new and updated. The most amazing night's sleep with the pillow top bed and pillows to match the comfort.. Ask for the back side of the property to avoid being woke up at 8a by Discount Tire.

In my youth, it was the Great Welcoming Personalities, which drew and sold the Motel/hotel, to us. We would gravitate there, on the strength and, likeability, of their character, and , their Family or how they appreciated Our Family, and, our Business and, of course, then, most were Family Owned. We, then, emotionally, and, warmly, embraced them, and, considered, them, extensions, of our Family. Repeat, repeat business and livelihoods, each, of us, received, and, were blessed and happy, in it. I... Read more

Rooms look amazing to what they were years ago. New beds, furniture, and flat screen TVS. All rooms are non smoking and they don't allows dogs unless they are a service animal with documentation. Hot breakfast in the lobby which consisted of eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Three kinds of juices and cereals, little muffins and bread for toast. Also have waffles in the shape of TEXAS!!

We stayed overnight on our way home. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I recommend this Quality Inn to anyone traveling to or through Amarillo. We had a pleasant stay.

Newly redone lobby ,carpet, bedspread, looks like marble sink vanity so pretty, microwave, widescreen tv is great , but no refrigerator. Old toilet seat and stained bottom of tub, we got a coupon at restaurant at home for discounted rooms in Texas , ark, etc. $45.00 plus tax. Great price. A/c only cycles when it wants too. I am hot and awake at 4am

Ok, let me say first, we'd stay here again if we're passing through, though we wouldn't love it. We're just that cheap. Hard to beat $60. Here are the pros/cons: PROS - Price - Cleanish rooms, comfy beds, recently renovated interiors - Near the highway - Decent breakfast CONS - Dirty and almost a little "scary" on the outside - Bathrooms were pretty dingy (and maybe even a bit dirty) - Checked in around 9pm, A/C didn't really ever cool the room off

After booking this dump at hotel-rates.com on my phone, we were not happy with what we found when we got there. The neighborhood was scary - we were concerned that our car would be broken into overnight. The room was dingy and smelled musty. There was used soap in the shower and a nasty stain on the wall that looked like it could have been blood! There were stink bugs flying around the room and the towels were thin and scratchy. The only good thing about the room was the beds - they were qu... Read more

Despite a recent remodel to their front desk area this hotel is an absolute dump. I operate a large tour group which was booking over ten rooms with the property and had to apologize to my customers for their stay. Sadly we were forced to stay here due to being the only property left that met our budget on this night. The rooms were dirty and not well maintained, several guests even had to switch rooms multiple times due to AC or cleanliness issues with their rooms. The front desk staff was noth... Read more

Despite what previous reviewers say, I found the front desk staff efficient and friendly. Although the exterior is dated, threatening rooms are newly renovated, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Do NOT waste your money, time, health or safety! First was issued room #137. Blood splatter everywhere! In the bathroom, on the floors, walls, comforter, sheets and pillows. Makeup on sheets and pillows. Went to call the front desk.... surprise, the phone did not work. Called using my cell phone, was koved to room #132 which was easily as bad except there was cockroaches and morepubes, hair, makeup in the bed. So completely disgusted and grossed out.

We always try to avoid staying at anything less than a 4 rating but because it was a holiday weekend every thing was sold out. We had to get a little sleep and this hotel was the only one around with availability. In retrospect I almost wished we would have slept in the car with our dogs. This hotel does not take dogs and is supposed to be non-smoking. I can tell you my dogs smell cleaner than our smoky smelled room. I think they got a better nights sleep in the car then I did. The air condition... Read more

This is a motel, not a hotel. Stayed in room 121 (in the back)...did not feel completely safe. Hair dryer was missing. No microwave or fridge. Property is old and lots of trash in the parking lot. The room itself was recently refreshed with paint and new carpet. The sink area was fine, but the tub/toilet room looked like it was under construction. Both sides of the front door were gross. There was a blood stain on the comforter. The TV volume even at max was not loud enough. Very small ... Read more

This has been the worst hotel/motel I've stayed on a 5 day trip. Super nice front office folks but really terrible room and outdated. Someone spilled a soda on the wall behind the bed which was just icing on the crusted cake. I would not recommend staying here, breakfast was a little lacking. I thought I just couldn't fall asleep but as I heard other guests at breakfast complain about their beds I knew it wasn't just me.

Last room available paid too much, got a room on the second floor, parking was dark and scary, the room was hot, beds were comfortable, pillows good and tv adequate. Was told not to use the back stairs they were out of order, that was an understatement, they were half gone, have to admit the gate keep me from walking off..Ill admit arriving at 1030 pm is late but sometimes when you travel you ride the road as long as you can. Breakfast was alright if you like pastries from wally world... anyhow ... Read more
