The outside of this hotel is very plain and tucked behind other hotels. However, it is wonderful inside! The ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was absolutely wonderful. It had a full size walk in shower. We had a second shade that darkens the room. We will stay there again without a doubt. Plus, there are several good places to eat within walking distance.

This facility is new and very unique in design. The suite is roomy, comfortable and has a great kitchen area with dishwasher and tall refrigerator. The large walk-in shower is great. That being said, if I were staying here long term for work I would enjoy a nice tub for soaking away stress. This facility is very modern in design and decor, very attractive. The one drawback is the noise level. There is nothing to absorb sound in the lobby/breakfast area hence the noise level is painful durin... Read more

This is a nice touch by Hilton. We are an older couple who love Homewood Suites and decided to try Home2. It is not for us, but is perfect for the up and coming business Millennials who need many ports, places to hang (nice pool and outside area and trendy common areas) and keep the cost down by offering a full size fridge and cooking arrangements in the room. The breakfast was geared to that age group (healthy wheat pancakes etc) and there is a free drink or snack too. I imagine every fridge ... Read more

My wife spent 3 nights in Amarillo for a reunion and fortunately spent the last night at Home Suites 2. While the previous hotel could generously called acceptable (especially since it's in one of the largest, recognizable and usually very good), Home Suites 2 was excellent in every way; clean, comfortable and an outstanding hotel staff from manager to all of the service personnel. While she was traveling alone and only one night, this is the perfect place for families spending several days bec... Read more

My husband and I stayed here while passing through Amarillo on a 16 day road trip. This is a really new and beautiful hotel. However, if you plan on staying here for any length of time, just make sure they put you on the top floor. This new hotel has no sound proofing at all. We could hear the people above us just walking across the floor. Luckily, we were only there for one night and could tolerate it. I would never stay at another Home 2 Suites by Hilton unless I was on the top floor. The hote... Read more

We enjoy this chain because we like have more room to relax. Having a couch instead of a chair is much better for 2 people. This our 3rd time at a Home2. Bed was extremely comfortable, in fact I sent an email request to Hilton about what kind of sheets were on the bed so I could order some for myself. But I haven't heard back on that yet. Very nice hotel in a good part of town. Large, quiet rooms with very comfortable beds, a great A/C. Lots of nice shelves and cubbies for your stuff. My favorite part: power outlets everywhere you look (so rare in hotel rooms). Breakfast was good... I just wish they didn't cram the breakfast serving area into such a small corner in the lobby. My only complaint is about the water pressure in the shower, which was pretty weak Otherwise very, very highly recommended!

The hotel is brand new and in great shape. Hopefully it stands the test of time, but so far nice spacious rooms. Location is fine for Amarillo - you are most likely passing through and not expecting a "view". Every possible chain restaurant and the "touristy" stuff is less than five minutes away. I am regular business traveller to amarillo usually once per month. Hilton garden inn was my hotel of choice due to the quality cook to order breakfast. However home 2 suites is a newer property and very near in location plus the cost difference compelled me to try it out. The rooms were clean and modern and large. I liked the seprate couch tv living area. I dont use the kitchen appliances but for longer stays i could see the utility. I was curious most about the breakfast since it is not ... Read more

Online check-in was useless. My room was given away before I arrived. When asked why, the clerk basically ignored me and checked me into a different room. Also, the wifi was difficult to connect to but seemed to work ok once connected. Overall, very nice staff, very clean rooms, good location.

Check in was quick. Suite was perfect and very well equipped. Lovely layout, great decor. Shower could have been more powerful. Bed was heaven with superb soft silky sheets. Great black out blind, lots of power sockets. Breakfast was better than average and more interesting than in many motels. One of the best hotels on our Route 66 trip.

Stopped on the way back home on a whim. The location is great and the service is better. I would certainly stay here again when in Amarillo. The front desk people were very nice. I wish there was a restaurant or bar in the lobby, the the holiday inn next door has a pretty good bar.

I had read all the reviews on Trip Advisor and this hotel did not disappoint. First, I thought it was neat that they sent me an email so I could choose my exact room in the hotel. I read that the corner rooms were large so I chose one on the top floor (4th floor). It was even bigger than I expected. The layout felt dorm room-ish but that didn't matter and was better than being in a cramped room. The bathroom size was normal to small but maybe that's cause the room itself felt so big. N... They had microwaveable breakfast sandwiches that were delicious and many other cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread options. Staff was very nice and informative. The room itself was huge and so nice! Wow! I travel a lot and this is the first Home2 Suites I have visited. The hotel is very trendy and would be super popular with young hipsters, but families are equally as comfortable here. Of course its brand new so that is always nice. However the amenities offered really contribute to an overall exceptional experience. There is a great work out room, outdoor grills, walking trail around the property, outdoor patio area with gas fire pit, and free breakfast. The room was huge and offered... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a wedding. The rooms are huge and have all the amenities of home. Our only complaint was that our room wasn't cleaned prior to our second night, even though we were out and about all day. The front desk staff were apologetic and brought us fresh towels. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Amarillo.

I loved staying at Home2! Very sleek and modern furnishings, large room with a super kitchen. The bed and sheets were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I even looked online for the brand of mattress and sheets when I got home because I want to buy them for my own home! The breakfast was yummy and not the usual fare at a hotel. Altogether a wonderful place to stay!

The modern room was spacious, clean, and there were high-quality sheets. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast. Further, if you were a Hilton Honors member you received one free drink and one snack. I??ve stayed in other Hilton brands and have never been offered either, which made me like this specific brand/Hilton chain better. Overall, my favorite part of the hotel was the water fountain pool and large hot tub as it was very relaxing!

I hadn't heard of Home2 until recently. But after a very nice overnight stay for business at the Home2 in Amarillo, I'll aim to stay with them again. The hotel was new, clean, environmentally friendly, and had simple but stylish décor. I didn't use them, but the pool and workout room looked nice, though small. Very nice staff. Answered questions about the local area and so forth.

This is a hotel I stayed multiple times. However, apparently the leadership and maintenance has fallen. This is a hotel maybe a year olde. My room coffe maker and microwave did not work. The elevator was out and the side door card reader was broken. In addition, the room at did not work properly. I spoke with regional director and all I seemed to get was excuses or defending responses. I will not stay there again and encourage everyone to consider staying some where else.

It is walking distance from a movie theater (right next door) so if you feel like not driving anywhere but want to go out I recommend going to the movies. I would like to commend the staff, they were amazing especially housekeeping and the staff manning breakfast. This hotel is a great stay especially for longer stays. I stayed for 2 1/2 months on business and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very engaged with their guests. My room seemed like it was thrown together construction wise; gaps in the rubber trim, peeled off at one point and had to ask three times to get it repaired.
