This hotel was kept nice and clean. It had the fancy adjustable beds. I only have 2 things I didn't like: no vent fan in the restroom, and a climate controller on the wall, but the climate was actually controlled at the unit. A bit confusing at first.

We arrived for a friend's wedding. Much to our surprise, we were told that NO BREAKFAST would be included in the price of the room, unlike at other Hilton Hotels. My friend told me her breakfast that she had to pay $9.95 for, her eggs were burnt and she didn't eat them. My friend's room was quite warm, and she told me it was difficult to control the temperature. Our room was 61 degrees upon entering, and I turned the controls up, but it didn't seem to help. We had driven all day and we were looking forward to a welcoming smile and great customer service like we usually get. Upon check in the young man checking me in was cold and unwelcoming. I asked him a few questions regarding the breakfast and he acted very annoyed that I was asking questions. At one point in the check in process he picked up a small box and threw it on the floor because he was irritated it was in his way. He was very rude and impatient. Started out bad and did not get better. Showed up early and told no room available. Come back in an hour. OK DID THAT. Then came back and still no room. Sat and watched others check in. Great way to treat a DIAMOND member. Then got a room where A/C was not controlled by wall thermostat (one there but did not work). Carpet was torn and frayed leading into bathroom which presented a tripping hazard. Room itself average. Pol area was a mess with both outside doors blocked open which raised security... Read more

This was our first stop on our journey from Alabama to the west. After 15 hours (mainly on I-40) we were graciously greeted by two clerks. After a speedy check in, we took our daughter to the pool and had a blast. There are ample places eat, gas was nearby (Love's Truck stop), and there is a Wal-Mart nearby. However we had pre booked so we basically just needed our key. The hallways and rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms were small. Worst thing was bed was old and uncomfortable and the adjustment knobs didn't work so woke up with back hurting and stiff every morning. Other than that this is an attractive hotel and pleasant enough. High priced for a small town, I ended up rebooking with a sale price which made it more worth it.

But the pool room was disgusting. It had mold on the sides of the pool and rust blemishes all over the place. the hot tub also did n... Read more

Decent hotel, but found the firmness adjustment knobs on both beds in our room broken, and ended up sleeping in a "hole" all night. Had a terrible night sleeping (no sleeping). Staff was very nice, and accommodating, and breakfast was excellent, though a little pricey on the high side - could have eaten at a nearby Waffle House for a LOT less.

Love staying at the Hilton Garden Inn when traveling. This place did not dis-appoint. Great location to Route 66# Cadillac Ranch and other bucket list must see in this area. Great breakfast. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Room requested wasn't available upon checking. Phone message light blinked the entire stay and expired food on buffet. Dirty carpet, no housekeeping after first night. No water in cooler in workout room, just terrible management oversight of property.

Stayed for four nights. The room was clean and well equipped, but "tired". The bath (shower) was fine. The public areas were fine and bright. The fitness center was poor. I tried both treadmills - one needed maintenance and the other did not work. The "on treadmill video system" did not work. The hotel has free Wifi, but the network is not secure - no thanks. The property is on a one way access road, so you have to thread your way out the back to go east.

Travelers, a good place to stay.... bad Wi-Fi speed. This is a 'Newish' Hilton Garden Inn, in great shape....having said that the AC unit in my room did not work well at all. The bed was one of the adjustable models that mean you wind up sleeping in a valley. Again, the Wi Fi Speed SUCKS!

I have now stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Amarillo twice. Every stay I have been met with great service and friendly staff. First, I highly recommend people download the Hilton app. From the app you can not only pick a room, change rooms, check in, and adjust your pillows before you even show up. Secondly, every time I check in, the front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful, They are quick and knowledgeable and ensure to make your stay comfortable. Because I was able to pick my ... Many of the Amarillo hotels are adjacent to the East and West Interstate access roads. The exits from the interstate take some getting used to, but when you make your way to this Hilton, you'll be glad you passed by the others. The reception-restaurant building is between the rooms and the access road, dampening the noise of the all-night truckers. Our room was about as quiet as any we've ever had. Oh, and a shout-out for the desk clerks who are very helpful.

The room is great and fairly priced. The breakfast staff was not at all prepared; they opened late, the tables were not set and the food was not good. Reported that the elevator was broken and received an acknowledgement from the manager along the lines of: that's what I heard. In the end, the room was good, eat elsewhere and beware the elevator.

The only issue I have is the road access, it's on a one way road, you have to go all the way to the next interstate exit to get turned around, there is no other access road to the hotel and there is road construction out front.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Didn't realize they have in house restaurant and the rooms were exceptionally quiet and large enough that the heating and air conditioning unit wasn't blowing directly on us. Bedding was comfortable and everything was fresh and clean.

Will not be staying here again! Shower/tub took forever to drain, kitchen staff were rude, bed was extremely uncomfortable, cable didn't work in our room. As expensive as the rooms are, we expected a better experience. Next time, we will stay somewhere else.

Breakfast staff was rude. Bed was old and sloped to the middle. Hotel rooms were not updated and we were not greeted as reward members. We were very disappointed with the room and do not feel we received the appropriate bang for the buck.

One of the reasons that we pick your Hotel was because of the in door pool and spa.But when we went to use the spa the jets did not work , the water was luke warm and had a lot of sand and bobby pins at the bottom of the spa and one of the fans over one of the tables had one blade broken and it was wobbling back and forth like it was going to come off the ceiling. We called the front desk to let them know because of the fan hazard and the fact that we only picked you hotel because of the spa. We... Read more

We stayed there twice & were given the same room both times. I told them the 1st time one light did not work in the bathroom. They said they could not get the replacement on a weekend (Saturday). When we got back a little over a week later, it still did not work. The AC worked from the actual unit at the window, not from the thermostat on the wall that had a sign about not using the actual unit. The restaurant was very slow for dinner. HOWEVER, I was having some car problems & the front de... Read more

Great place to stay. Access is essentially down the exit ramp from the Interstate then about a 1/2 mile on the feeder road. Great Welcoming staff. Clean & Peaceful just 6 minutes away from Cadillac Ranch and other off property locations. Located on the West side of Amarillo, Texas.

Overall stay was lacking compared to previous similar Hilton experiences. Overall value was poor. Preventive maintenance was lacking. Toilet flush valve needed replaced and ran all night long. Air-conditioning unit was noisy with fan running constantly. Our room didn't even get cleaned on second day. After arriving back at the hotel late that evening, we discovered that bathing items (towels, soap, etc.) were removed, but were not replaced. The room had not been cleaned. Curtains were left... In the plains of west Texas, a great place to get off the road and relax. Convenient access to the freeway. Quick, efficient check in, even without reservations. Restaurant- great cheeseburgers! The downside, king bedroom but the bath is very small, such that to open the shower door required closing the bath main door then wedging yourself against vanity... not sure what happened during design. Oh well,,,,, By the way - no military discounts? Every other chain offers one.

We stopped here for one night driving cross country. We selected it because of its location and it was a Hilton. Beware - this is not up to the perceived standards of a Hilton. Behind this hotel is what appears to be an abandoned lot, with an old, falling apart barn on it as well as old machinery here and there. When the wind blows, which is often, something in the barn bangs against something else - metal, very loudly. This goes on for hours and hours, all night. This can't be the first time t... Read more

The hot tub did not work. The indoor pool was cold. Limited water pressure in room. Cleaning service was mediocre at best. Wall unit controls for heat / AC did not work. On unit controls sort of worked. Internet was down for most of the 3 night stay. This was meant to just be a sleeping space for us because the primary reason for visit was family living in Amarillo.
