Pics and reviews make this property seem a lot nicer than it is. That being said it was clean, nice and tidy. Not alot of noise. Decent place to crash with wifi and a big breakfast in the morning. Nothing spectacular but better than she hole in the wall red roof next door.

We stayed here while visiting our oldest son. We chose the Baymont because we figured with the Wyndham name behind it, it would be at least decent. It wasn't! In fact, I ended up having to call the Wyndham customer service number from the hotel while we were there. This place has 160 rooms and they had ONLY ONE person working there - a poor young woman who was sweet as she could be on the front desk. This whole place was shabby, dirty and very poorly maintained. First problem was lamps didn'... Read more

I have stayed here before with few problems. This time I was not able to get accommodation for a first floor room since I was recovering from a broken leg and I found that this 2-story hotel did not have an elevator. The clerk said he would take my bag to my room but was always busy so I had to get it there myself. The tub had quite a bathtub ring. The bed was so high I could barely get into it without a stool and the clock was missing the power cord. I was expecting more from the staff and that... Read more

Rooms not too bad, very humid and it felt like I was walking on a soggy carpet most of the time. Couldn'the get the room to a cool temperature it felt like a muggy 75 deg. WIFI WAS A HIT AND MISS IN THE ROOM. Kept losing connection. If you are a business person or student I don'the reccommend this hotel for you. Rooms were still being cleaned at 330pm and I could not check in. Unsatisfactory!

The hotel was nice and clean. Everyone was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I would change was breakfast. The brews and pastries were a little stale. But otherwise, it was nice and I'd come back.

The Baymont Hotel in Amarillo,Texas was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome. The room was spotless, lots of hot water and fluffy towels. I will stay there again!

This was not our first option for our overnight visit in Amarillo, but since all our prefered hotels were full we decided to try the Baymont Inn. The location was nice, near several restaurants. But the standard of the hotel itself was not very good, and our room was not very clean, found both popcorn and bugs on the floor. Wouldn't stay here unless I absolutely had to, if you can find another hotel in Amarillo.

This hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff you could ask for. Easy check in. Snacks (popcorn, cookies and lemonade) available in the evenings for guests. Room/beds were very comfortable so we felt very rested. Ref and micro in room although site we booked on didn't list them. Hot breakfast served, but no meat. We will return again when visiting Amarillo.

The value was good. It is clean and safe (located between two other similar hotels) Our room had a bad microwave oven. The entrances are old style(you walk up a stairwell). This is good when you want a clean room and little else. Practically no landscaping (pets use what is there) the pool area is so, so hot just walls, concrete, and parking lot. I would stay there again with no concern.

The staff were very nice, but the bathroom in our room was filthy. Long hair all over the walls of the shower and obvious pieces of dirt behind the bathroom door.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. Placed the reservation through TripAdvisor based on other reviews. Not disappointed. Arrived after midnight. Overnight staff was great to help us settle in. Left early for breakfast with family so can't comment on the food. FYI no elevator & handicap rooms only have one bed.

The price was very competitive but everything else was just average. The accommodations were not as good as other Payment properties. The breakfast was fair at best. If you were to rate all Beaumonts based on this one you might go elsewhere.

Where to start....I setup my stay almost 2 weeks in advance & had to change the weekend last minute. I had been on the road for 12 hours & expected everything to go good checking in. The night staff lady was not nice or accommodating. I had booked a double queen room and they reserved me a king room instead. I need both beds because I had 4 kids with me. I had to spend $50 on an air bed because they didn't have anymore rooms and didn't even try to help me. The only help the lady offered was chec... Read more

Our family has stayed in this Inn three times in the last year. We've driven from the west coast to the east coast that many times. We picked this Baymont because Priceline had a special there one night. The first time we stayed the front desk employee was very hospitable and accommodating. Upon seeing that my husband had a handicap he quickly checked if a handicap room was available, even though we didn't request it. He gave us that room and it really helped us have a more pleasant stay. The ro... Read more

Room was clean, and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is typical, with few choices for us with gluten-sensitivities -- Scrambled eggs and yogurt. Close to restaurants, so not much of an issue. Priced reasonable. Would stay here again.

Upon first entering the suite I was impressed, however we very quickly discovered that the A/C in one side of the first suite was not working. We contacted the front desk and reported it. The beds were comfortable except that the pull out couch in same side of the suite was broken at the bottom and could not hold the mattress in place. We had children so we purchased an air mattress for them to sleep on. Thre was 1 wash cloth between the 2 bathrooms on the first floor.Breakfast the next morn... Read more

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast (including a waffle maker!) far exceeded our expectations for such a moderately priced hotel. We didn't interact too much with the staff, but when we did they were pleasant. The only issue we had was that there was no information posted in the room about things like the breakfast hours and the checkout time. We had to call the front desk for that information, which was a bit inconvenient.

Our stay was good. The only complaint is when returning from dinner, we couldn't find a good parking spot. Trucks with trailers were taking up to three spots. Guests with trailers also took several spots. Aside from that, we had a restful night. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Thank you.

I had requested a bottom floor if no elevator because of bad knees. Upon checking in I was told all of the rooms like I had requested on the bottom floor were taken. It was fairly early so I asked if all of them on the bottom floor had checked in as maybe we could swap. Was told that they had all checked in. Parking lot was less than half full so I do not believe them. They, manager included, showed noe concern for my request.

Quick visit, but nothing but positive comments! Clean & pleasant throughout the building; nice room with everything we needed: fridge, microwave, wi-fi (as in most hotels, faster in a.m. than evening), tv, very comfy bed!, thick towels, ample breakfast spread, polite, pleasant staff...We're baffled by the negative comments in some reviews. Our experience was positive in all respects; we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends & family. Great value, as well.

Wish hotels could come up with better breakfast items. You never know how long the eggs (usually fake ones) have sat in the pans. The rest is usually some sort of bread type item. This one had fresh fruit that was in pretty good shape. So at least it was a banana and a cup of tea!

I highly recommend this clean and friendly Amarillo TX motel. Being an annual cross country traveler, I am always leery about selecting a new hotel in a new place. A convenient place, with friendly staff, clean room and feeling very safe made this a first choice for future travels. The nightly chocolate chip cookies could influence me as well.

This is a great place for the price of $60. Most of the other hotels around here are in the $140 range. Right off of HWY 40 it's perfect for the traveling folks who are just making a pit stop. Close to a lot of restaurants and gas stations. Comfortable bed with a pull out couch. No complaints here.

This was just the right balance - it was just an overnight stay, so we didn't need anything fancy, but we were not interested in the bargain-priced places with reviews saying "dirty floors." This hotel was clean, the king-size bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was hot. One drawback: We were on the second floor, and there's no elevator. Still, a good night's rest, and we were on our way!

Mirrors and sink were dirty. I was disgusted. I notified the individual at the front desk at checkout and he didn't seem to care. Just an FYI, not everyone likes biscuits and gravy.
