Very nice warm welcoming when you enter the front door. I love the manager happy hour at this Hampton Inn. I wish additional Hampton Inn's would follow this practice. The rooms are very spacious and nice couch in the room. Bathroom was very clean and lots of fluffy towels for me to use. I always return to this Hampton Inn when I go to Alpine.

Great hotel in the middle of nowhere. Stay on the top floor if possible as the floors are thin and you hear every step of the person above you. My experience on the 3rd floor was great while my experience on the second floor was constantly disrupted by a heavy walker above me.

This Hampton Inn is a prime example of the excellent quality of the Hilton brand. The rooms and entire faciltiy were very pleasant in a part of Texas where there are not many choices for nice lodging. Very quiet and convenient to everything interesting in the Big Bend area.

Really nice hotel in little Alpine, Texas. Front desk staff very friendly and efficient - they had our card keys & paperwork ready when we arrived. Was given 2 free bottles of water since I'm a Hilton Honors member. Nice touch! Room was clean & had a nice view, furniture was good, beds were very comfortable. Loved the chair at the desk - ergonomic good comfort. Good breakfast, very good coffee. I would have given this a 5 except the A/C had a limiter or something that prevented it from getting a... We stayed on the top floor (3rd floor) and I would recommend this. I'm sure it sounded like a herd of elephants to the person below us - the floor left much to be desired. It felt pretty flimsy. Check in was no problem and the staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was perhaps the best I've had at a Hampton Inn. There was a bug crawling across my bed but I was afraid to investigate further. The room smelled like perhaps they go a bit deodorizer crazy instead of actually cleaning.... Read more

What a great spot in Alpine. Non smoking and clean. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. The best part about a Hampton Inn in general is that they replace ALL bedding, including the blanket/bedspread. Great place to get some sleep and relax. Free wifi too.

On our cross country trip we found this Diamond in the dessert. So friendly the minute you walk in. Room was great. Bed was great. Large shower. Excellent hot breakfast. Cleanliness is superb. This one stands out from the crowd. There were no drawbacks at all. We are Hampton inn travelers and this one should be the model for them all.

Although a bit outdated, they are very clean and have a nice odor. The air conditioning works perfect which can come in handy during the hot summer months. Very nice hotel. Looks recently built. Our room was spacious, huge and bed was comfy. Bathroom was large as well. Clean room. Pleasant staff. Quick check-in. Conditioner was working well (outside temp was +40 C), but it is noisy one. And you can hear how your neighbors on the floor above are walking?. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. I recently stayed at this hotel and paid approximately $150 per night. When compared to the other Hampton Inns in which I've stayed, I was sorely disappointed. The light from the hallway bled into our room and I could see everything clearly, even in the dead of night. Every night we were there, a distracting noise was heard. First, staff rolled a dumpster around the parking lot; next, guests who had no consideration added to the noise level; and finally, the 500 pound guest in the room direc... Read more

The Hampton staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can find information and maps on all of these local attractions and so many more. The indoor pool offers a chance to get out of the heat. We will definitely be back to visit again.

No complaints here-- huge room (larger than expected) with a whirlpool tub (with jets!!). Room was clean upon arrival, all essential toiletries (and then some) were provided. Check In and Check Out process was smooth. Complimentary Breakfast was huge, basically like we were at a self-serve restaurant. Overall no complaints, only wish we could've stayed longer.

Not the typical Hampton experience. Our first day was a disaster. The hotel elevator was out of order ( a busy rodeo weekend!) so we were given a suite on the ground floor & told it was an accessible suite. Typically this is not a problem because we have stayed in similar suites not only in the Hampton chain but in other chains as well & not just in the US. This suite, however, was awful. The bathroom was badly designed & it flooded when we had showers. I mopped it up after each of us showered! ... Read more
