Hilton standard hotel. Outside hot tub was getting a heater installed, so it was down during my stay. I did have a jetted tub, but, I like jacuzzi type better. Room was perfectly nice and comfortable. Plenty of towels and tv channels. I slept very well. Breakfast was well done. The usual. Lot of fresh fruit, but bananas were green. Whey set them out? Oatmeal was thick and yummy. Staff was terrific, and elevators and Ice machines worked fast and well. I could hear a loud talker next door.... Read more

This is our favorite place to stay in Abilene. Sometime we had to make other choices but always come back here. The staff and accommodations are great, breakfast good and they treat us special since we are "seniors".

This is by far the best hotel in Abilene Texas. It fills up quickly so book it early. The rooms are quite, comfortable and I have always found them to be extremely clean. I stay in this hotel at least 12 to 15 times per year and reccomend to all of my employees for stay as well.

I booked this room for my daughter for her birthday/anniversary so it was a specific request-a King suite (or not) with a whirlpool bath. The room was #400, absoutely awesome, two and a half rooms and a large two person, 3 foot deep whirlpool bath that greets you when you enter the room. The staff is also wonderful at this hotel and quite willing to please. A full breakfast is served each morning. So, if you want a special night or just passing through this is a great place to stay.

I would recommend to anyone, it was clean and comfortable! I stayed here with my family and extended family. We came into town for a rodeo. The staff was helpful and kind. Our stay was 2 nights breakfast was especially good on Saturday and there was a good variety both mornings of our stay. There are a few good restaurant's and a Walmart very close by, as well as close to the coliseum (Taylor County Expo Center)

Excellent staff - all went without a hitch.. front desk help was very pleasant to be around, breakfast was very good, rooms clean and fresh, pool was clean - could use a bit more shade. Lobby was not only elegant, but clean and roomy - comfortable to be in -

This hotel was clean with great staff. The perfect location off the interstate. The breakfast was well done with plenty of items to select from and enough room to sit. I was impressed by the décor of the lobby and breakfast area. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had selected a room on line and the front desk suggested that we change because it had been a smoking room before they converted to a smoke free hotel, good catch.

We had a power outage during a storm. The hotel staff helped everyone with information and gave them extra bottles of water. The staff is very courteous and professional. They've always taken care of us! Breakfast is standard fare for Hampton Inn (a step up from Holiday Inn Express), but always fresh and restocked often.

We can always count on Hampton Inn to provide a clean and comfortable room. This hotel location offers very nice king rooms with a wet bar, sofa, desk, large bathroom/vanity area, and comfortable bed. The décor was lovely and service was excellent. The only issues we found were: Shower curtain rod was loose, beverage station in the lobby was quite a distance from the breakfast food buffet, and the stools at the community bar height table are for a standard counter height table so if you sit ... Clean, helpful staff, hot breakfast, what else can you say? Staff is extremely helpful and willing to assist with any concerns. The air worked, tv worked, not noisy, good room and I have stayed in dumps and private exclusive floors. This is as solid a stay as any.

We have stayed here before, but I always like to update. This hotel is very clean and the rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfy. They def need to upgrade the pillows, but other than that, it is very comfortable. They were under-going some minor construction at the front of the hotel this stay, which made it a little noisy, but that happens sometimes. The staff were very nice and helpful during our stay. They have a nice outdoor pool and indoor fitness center. I found it more pleasan... Read more

The staff was very friendly while we were there. The room was nice and cold when we walked in which is a must for us. I wish I wasn't so tired last night so I could have tried out the whirlpool tub. The room was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and hot. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area again.

I really had no expectations of this hotel when we booked. We had a family reunion there, and I was really impressed with our experience. The room was outstanding and clean. The breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff seem rather new, but what they lacked in experience, they made up for in friendliness. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the Abilene area.

We stayed for 6 days and everything was wonderful! the staff were amazing and friendly. The free hot breakfast was wonderful. The swimming pool and hot tub was great. We were in a handicap accessible room and had no problems whatsoever. Thank you all very much for the great vacation

This is a nice hotel except for the breakfast. When we were there the scrambled eggs were cold, and the gravy to put on biscuits was in a cold glass pitcher. Who wants cold eggs and cold gravy? Not me. I recommend going somewhere else for breakfast.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and are always made to feel at home. They have king rooms that have walk in showers which we really love and they always have one for us. One of our visits included a college graduation party and they were very helpful.

We looked at the breakfast bar around 9:30 am. No eggs, no bacon. Rotten bananas. There was some funky bagel concoction with toppings in the hot food bin. Lots of people, not lots of decent food. We saw cooks out front smoking at the entrance. Where was the manager?? Ended up eating at Denny's across the street.

We were in Abilene for our daughter's college registration. The room was clean, the beds & bathroom immaculate. Breakfast was perfect, complete with the make-your-own waffles. Staff was friendly & helpful; hurrying out the door, I left a shirt hanging in the closet after checkout. When I called, the manager said she had my shirt at the front desk & was just getting ready to call me. We'll stay there again.

If you are in Abilene, stay here. Everything is AWESOME especially the staff. When we got there, it was busy phone wise and I was offered water for my wait which was nice. Check in and check out were both smooth. We were on the 4th floor and encountered some great people especially the housekeeper. We got back to the room and she said she had only made the beds but had not cleaned and offered to clean if we needed it. That was after our first night so it was not necessary but she did come tak... Read more

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Abilene, TX near I 20 was a decent place to stay for a few days. The bed was not comfortable and the shower head did not work well at all and the commode kept running until you jiggled the flusher but overall the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. These issues probably only applied to our specific room so we would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Disappointed in management. Employee called me 7/09/16 and told me they overbooked my room type but they could put me in a Jr Suite for $40 more for the night. I asked for them to upgrade me for free because I had a confirmed reservation and their overbooking was not my fault. Asked for a manager. Employee told me he "was the only one there so he was pretty much the manager that day". This was going to be our first opportunity to stay at a Hampton Inn and Suites. I stay at many hotels and generally at a Hampton. Of all the hotels I visit I rate the Hampton Inn & Suites the best hotel. Of course I stay there on a regular basis so they know my name and make sure I am well taken care of each time I visit Abilene. If you are looking for excellence this is a can't miss

Welcoming from the moment I walked into the hotel. On a hot day I was immediately offered two bottles of cold water. Room was especially nice, breakfast buffet has a generous selection, all of staff was friendly. In a good location off the highway and to several restaurants and some shopping. Coming to Abilene I would definitely stay here again.

There was a line of folks when we arrived but the staff worked fast to get everyone serviced. Friendly staff and knowledgable of the surrounding area. Clean rooms, quiet evening, pleasant evening in the pool/hot tub area. Breakfast consisted of traditional warm food or if you preferred fruit and yogurt with hearty toppings. Will stay again.

This hotel has always been a good place to stay and is close to the nearby colleges. It has great beds and pillows and usually a decent breakfast. This room we had smelled of stale cigarettes work which are probably in the duct work. We could not change rooms because the hotel was booked full.
