Minus wanting heavier blankets for rooms, it is a comfort thing for me, family and I had a great time. We couldn't make use of the pool, it was still chilly outside. Wished they had an indoor pool for year-around use, or at least an indoor hot tub, or even a steam room. The long trip was hard on aching muscles.

Excellent hotel, very close to highway so it's very convenient for getting anywhere in Nashville. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast food was good. It's a little farther south then we wanted to stay but because of a Science Teacher convention the availability was limited.

Every year we stay at La Quinta on our way to Florida and for sure we ill be staying here again. We liked it so much we stayed there on our way home also. The staff was courteous, food was great and the mattress just right.

Stayed here a few years back but this time it was for one night. Hotel is around other Hotels, which means ongoing traffic. Walking distance to a Big Mall and hand full of restaurants. Near major high so it may be a bit noisy. Room was nice clean. Spacious and fast free WIFI. The breakfast area is huge and good food to eat. Easy access to highway for a quick drive into Nashville and surrounding cities.

My husband has stayed here on business trips twice. So it seemed like a safe bet for an overnight stay on our way home from a cruise. This is a newer hotel and looks nice in general. However there are some problems that need addressing. On the bathroom counter I found a used hair band from the previous occupants. If the cleaning staff had wiped the counter they would have found it instead of me. The hotel was not very full yet when my son called down to the front desk and asked for an extra pill... Read more

Stopped in while moving across country with our dog. One of the nicest La Quinta Inn's we've stayed in! Clean, professional staff, and a nice breakfast spread/clean dining area. They have a nice open area to let your pet stretch their legs. Located just off the highway near several restaurants. Wonderful place for us to stop in our cross country travels and would recommend if you are staying in the Nashville area.

Conveniently located near the highway, this is a nice pet friendly hotel. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast was not that great-- they have a full breakfast spread but it's pretty typical hotel breakfast food and we opted for Starbucks (about a half mile away) instead. My only complaint is that there were no luggage carts available for moving luggage.

We always book LaQuinta in Smyrna, TN because the rooms are always clean and they accept our small dog. The location is perfect for our annual trip from Florida to Illinois. We also like the close proximity to O'Charlie's restaurant.

Our family stayed here while we waited to close on our house because we had points for free nights. I'm very, very picky about hotels especially when it comes to cleanliness and smells. This hotel has a pleasant smell throughout. We stayed in 2 different rooms over 3 days. The first room was great. The 2nd room was pretty good. Overall the hotel is pretty clean, but it could definitely use some maintenance and a good thorough cleaning. The age of this facility is starting to show. The carpet in ... Read more

Arrived on Thursday and had reservations for 3 rooms/4 people total. Rooms are nice but could hear lots of hallway noise. Hotel booked full over the weekend with little kid baseball teams. Hotel missed cleaning our rooms on Saturday. Breakfast area was awful with sooo many people here, not enough food served, not enough seating, not enough workers. The workout facility needs some maintenance on the machines. I hate to complain to much but I would not stay here on the weekend again. Especially no... Read more

I give this hotel the greatest compliments. The staff rescued us from a terrible experience with another hotel chain. Jason Blythe was on the front desk as we were scrambling too find accommodations at the last minute. His calmness and professional demeanor contributed too me being able too become calmer. He got us booked right in when we arrived and gave us sunshine to what had started as a horrible experience with another hotel chain. Thank you John Bungard for your well trained staff. ... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights and arrived earlier than check in time. We were welcomed and told that would not be a problem, so unpacked car, put stuff in our room and sat by the pool in blistering sunshine thanks to Ian. The hotel has a pool at the side of the property which seems to get the sun all day which was great. Rooms were lovely with 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave. Hotel offered free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast. Breakfast was really nice with a great choice of hot & cold food. Nothi... Read more

We have come to expect excellence from La Quinta and this property was no disappointment. The rooms and grounds were spotless, and, the staff was outstanding. The only possible negative thing worth mentioning was the shortage of eateries in the immediate area (reasonable walking distance). The motel was sold out due to a local teenage softball tournament, yet the entire place was still clean and quiet. I believe the night staff was responsible for keeping things under control!

We were included in a group reservation for a basketball tournament. Since I was not given the opportunity to pick our own hotel I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this La Quinta was. The front desk staff is super friendly, hotel is clean, breakfast has a variety of food. Approx 25 minutes from downtown, very easy drive. The only downfall this weekend was the pool condition. There was a table knocked over, tree debris scattered around, pool always had flo... Read more

We booked a room for our family at the La Quinta Inn & Suites a week ahead of time. The reservation was for 2 adults & 3 kids. When we arrived at our hotel at 5PM after driving for 9+ hours they only had 1 room for 4 people available & no roll away beds. At this point we couldn't find any other hotel in the area with any openings, so we had to stay. Got maybe 2-3 hours of sleep with 3 older kids crammed into 1 bed.. My husband and I were gifted with La Quinta hotel points for our honeymoon road trip to Nashville and we chose to stay just outside the city center instead of in the heart of it all. What a fantastic choice we made! This is, by far, the nicest La Quinta we have ever stayed at, with updated furnishings, extreme cleanliness and plush, comfortable beds. They even let our pup stay too, free of charge! Great experience and absolutely worth the 20 minute drive into the city limits. If we're ever back ... Read more

We were road weary and had checked at 4 motels which were all full...LaQuinta had available rooms so we reluctantly took one (Any port in a storm, right!) The total cost of the room was $162.99 which was high for the accommodations, but we needed a room. Chris, at the desk, was very helpful, pleasant and informative. The room itself was clean but the freeway is close by so the 'road noise' from traffic kept us awake for most of the night. The breakfast that was available was quite standard..... Read more

Make sure your GPS is working, because the front desk clerk cannot give directions. Our room had a strong disinfectant odor and there was no assistance to resolve or to provide benedryl from the front desk. Friends at the hotel did not report the same problem. This is a dog friendly hotel, which is nice. I am not allergic to dogs, but I was allergic to some other odor. Fresh fruit on breakfast bar. There was a hair on the commode when we arrived at the room.

Horrible experience, checked in late at night, read great reviews on this place so had no reason to expect anything other than a great stay. Went to sleep immediately after check in. Woke up the next morning and noticed the room was covered in mold. It was in the shower, the closet, the walls that are directly next to the bed. Told the employee at check out and his response was that he would let housekeeping know.

Big parking lot that can accommodate car/truck & trailers without a problem. Good selection for breakfast. Pool a little small and located outside. Lots of restaurant options nearby. The room we stayed in appeared as if either it had not be properly cleaned or was vacant for a while. There was dust in the bathroom, and the floor was dirty. The shower had pink mildew in the corners and the wall had soap scum. The countertop was dusty. This appears to be a very nice looking hotel and I was not expecting that. The room overall was ok and did not smell bad. The large Flat screen and cable TV made up for part of the frustration.

We ended up walking in to get a room for the night, and it worked out perfectly! Jason helped us book the room and he was very friendly. The room was very nice compared to other La Quintas Inn I've stayed in the past. Our room had lots of room and it had a pull out couch. All the doors slam shut and they are very thin so you can hear everyone else as well that moves late at night and early in the morning in the hallway. The hotel is too close to the highway. The noise from the highway was excruciating..... we awakened every time a car or truck passed on the highway. We never complained because we were just too tired to go through moving to another room. We appreciate the other parts of our stay which were good. The breakfast was good, and the check out was quick and simple. We would stay again only if we were in an area of the hotel where we could not hear the noise from the freeway.

We've stayed at a number of LaQuintas over the years, and have never been disappointed - and this one continues the trend. Room was comfortable, access to/from I-24 was simple (once we figured out how to get to the hotel); if road noise bothers you, ask for a room on the west side of the hotel.
