a very nice condo! we booked this room at the last minute at a great rate. the room is very clean, I couldn't find anything that was dirty. the rooms offer pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. the fact that you have to have a code to get in the elevator adds another sense of security to the property

This was our first trip to Sevierville in nearly 8 years, and our first stay at Great Smokies Lodge. As with many other Wyndham properties we have visited, this one did not disappoint. The location is off of the hectic main drag that runs from Sevierville to Gatlinburg, but also very close to anything you want to go and see. Staff was very attentive to our needs, and always courteous. We traveled as a group off 11. 6 adults and 5 children, and reserved a 3 bedroom unit, as well as a 2 bedro... Read more

We stayed as a family for 2 days and the resort had everything we could imagine. The room was very well appointed with 3 bedrooms and rivalled the luxury of most resorts that I've stayed before. Well maintained, the workers were always happy to say hello and when we asked for information, happy to provide it to us. We visited the waterpark and the kids said this was the highlight of their vacation. We didn't eat at the restaurant however we did get ice cream which was well priced and didn't cost... Read more

We stayed here last June with our grandsons and will be returning this June for 4 days. I wish we had a room with a mountain view and closer to the pools. The the 2 bedroom condo was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our stay but hope for a room with a view this year on the same side as the welcome area and that will make it perfect. I highly recommend this as a place to stay with children.

The resort itself is very nice, if you have kids they will have an incredible time as there is an indoor and outdoor waterpark as well as an indoor arcade. There is not too much around the resort for adults to do, there is a golf course on site but it is very costly. Upside is that the resort is not far from the activities further into Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are right down the road as well. The check-in time was a little slow. The experience was great as the suite is hi... Read more

What great place. Excellent customer service everywhere we went. The kids stayed busy the entire time we were at the resort. If you feel the need to leave, just drive 10 minutes and you're in the middle of just about anything a family would want to do. I noticed a beautiful golf course on site but I didn't get a chance to play because we stayed busy at the resort or hiking. The room was fantastic, clean and plenty of room for our family of 5. If you want to buy groceries and have food in your ... Read more

We had a 2 bedroom pool view room. As usual with Wyndham the room is very large and clean. The kitchen has most of what you may need for doing your own meals. I needed a colander and large non slotted spoon which wasn't provided. Washing machine and dryer as always with kids came in handy. Waterpark took its toll on our son and he got sick on his bed. Called desk and they had more pillows and sheets but hubby had to go get them as during night they have only one working and can't leave desk... Read more

This was our second visit to this resort because the kids love it. The built in water park can be a bit crowded but is a lot of fun and so convenient. The staff is very attentive and the room was up to date and very clean. The only thing we were not impressed with was room service. Ordered two pizzas on the night we arrived and it took thirty minutes longer than they told us to get them, a total of an hour and fifteen minutes. Overall a great place to stay, though. They even had a parrot in buil... Read more

Pools and water slides to the left, golf courses to the the right. Plenty of dining options on site. Can't beat that. Be prepared to pay for drinks at the pool - coolers not allowed. The River Golf Course was in great condition - haven't played the other course.

We stayed here for two nights. We had a condo. I thought the rate was reasonable and the condo was very nice and was great for what we needed. Very comfortable beds. Whirlpool was nice. The splash pad and mini golf was close to us, which our kids enjoyed. My only complaint was I booked online and didn't know i would get pressed to attend a timeshare thing. I repeatedly said no, I was tired and wanted to get to my room, it took awhile to get the girl to take no for an answer.

I have stayed at the hotel part and it is decent but the Wyndham is awesome. Friendly staff, clean rooms, full kitchen with all appliances and everything you may need to cook or eat off of. Washer and dryer came in handy even though we only stayed for two nights. Best part was we still were able to enjoy the hotel waterpark

Even if you don't have a timeshare at the Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge, you can enjoy the Wilderness water park by staying at Wyndham's hotel attached right to it. The resort/hotel has three water parks available to all folks staying at either the resort or hotel -- two outdoor and one indoor. Along with the water park, there is also an amusement center, a general store, and a candy store to help fulfill your fun fantasies.

Room is very nice. What I didn't know was that Wyndham didn't own the water park and was connected to another hotel Therefore we weren't able to charge things to our room and had to always have $ with us. Lots of reports of stolen property at the pool which was disappointing to hear so you had to either have someone stay with your belongings, lock them in a locker, keep them in your room or take the risk. I guess times are changing :(. They sell waterproof pouches for your phone which is... Read more

Great location in the center of activity - not far to any attraction in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Convenience store that serves Starbucks on site. Great arcade ($) and indoor and outdoor water parks, plenty to keep teens occupied. Clean and modern suites. We have Bernese. Three or the last four years. Great place to vacation.

From the moment we checked in, until the second we had to tear ourselves away, we could not have been happier. Staff was outrageously helpful and friendly. The water park(s) were clean and fun. The rooms were better than we expected. Located close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Lots to do without leaving the resort if you wanted. We did a day trip to the area and had a lot of fun.

We had the 2 bedroom presidential suite(timeshare). The rooms were great and just like the ones at Bonnet Creek in Orlando and Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells, with different décor. We were on the main side, so I can't comment on the side across the highway. As a matter of fact, I would have cancelled our stay if we were sent over there. It has a tiny water area and you have to cross a highway to get to the good stuff. The waterparks were okay, but the set-up is much smaller than Glacie... Read more

Three families in a three bedroom condo and had a wonderful time. The waterpark was included and the shuttle was running continuously from the condo lobby to the park entrance. We were on the 5th floor and had plenty of room in the condo. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was seating for all 10 of us. We will definitely be returning.

Easy check in. Room was in great shape, clean, and we had a view of the outside pool. There is another building farther away by the golf course. Make sure you know what building you are staying in before you book. Pools were fun and entertaining for my teens.

The condo itself was lovely. 2 bedroom/2 bath, full living area and kitchen, nice little balcony. The water park(s) onsite were insane and the kids had a blast. Sadly, the outside pools closed at 8, in the middle of summer, which is disappointing since it stays light out so late. The inside arcade was insanely overpriced for the games, but we did go laser tagging. I do not recommend doing the timeshare presentation. Unless you really really want a timeshare. The location was good, away from t... Read more

This is by far the best Wyndham property we have stayed in between Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee, or Virginia. The room was perfect, except for some odd smell in the dryer. We had a slight problem with the toilet when we first checked in, but the maintenance guy on call came in from his house to fix it late at night pronto. All the staff members were super nice. We had planned to go to Dollywood and visit other attractions in the area, but there was so much to do at the resort that we just deci... Read more

Spent a week at this resort in July and had an awesome visit. As Wyndham resorts go, this location has everything. We had a 2 bedroom presidential suite and it was immaculate! It offered spacious rooms, (3) wide screen TVs, great scenery looking out the spacious unit Windows... Also offered a tablet which was loaded with many details of the events, attractions, and dining offerings in the Smoky Mountains locale The resort also offered both an indoor and an outdoor water park with a gigantic arc... We stayed at a 2 bedroom presidential unit. It was very nice and clean. It has everything you want for cooking. The TV was a bit tricky to get to source and switch to watch dvds but we finally figured it out. We had a great view of the golf course. The watetparks were fun but wish not so spread out. My biggest concern is that anyone can walk into the buildings until 7 then you have to use a key to get in. Just doesn't feel that safe. But the area and people are friendly as we're the staff.

We were with my two boys and their family and we had two 2 bedroom unit that accomadated all of us with huge master bedroom with bath and bedroom with two queen beds plus bath large kitchen and large living room with a deck that overlooked the beautiful mountain , plus pools and entertainment. Definitely stay there again very accomadating and nice.

Well I must say as a family the room was was very accomadating. Close to everything, Walmart, drugstore, restaurants. Even the breakfast places (which they are known for) are extremely crowded and close at 12 or 1pm. So you hace to wake up 6 am to eat. Food and local activities are tourist expensive. Over priced and overrated everything. Not enough amenities for the price at the resort. We did not go on a time share nor was we offered one. We paid full price of 690 for 2 days. Was called the n w... Read more
