This resort is conveniently located to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood and the great smoky national park. The facility is new and is very well cared for. They several pools, hot tubs and resort amenities on both sides of the resort. I would certainly make a point to stay here again while in the area.

We stayed here with friends for about four nights two weeks ago. We had a deluxe two-bedroom lockout that was absolutely awesome. The View was great as we watched wild turkeys every morning and evening in the pasture down the Valley from our balcony. We love to visit the smokies and this is one of our favorite places to stay. The staff here is awesome. The rooms were very clean and well-kept It looked like it it just been opened.

We stayed here on collier drive for a long weekend. Unit 2122. Beautiful resort. Road noise was very loud in our unit. Then the real noise started. It sounded like a herd of elephants running in the unit above and outside our unit A couple was fighting and yelling. I called the front office at 1am, again at 3 am and again at 7am. No relief, no sleep, miserable night. I requested a room change, but none available. The next night was the same scenario. I called the front office again. Left the nex... Read more

I researched places to stay for months before choosing, and I made a bad choice. When we checked in, I asked if they accommodated requests, hoping to get a newer building or remodeled room (as indicated by tips for this place), but was told that had to be done within days of making the reservation. We got stuck with EVERYTHING I was hoping to avoid. We got stuck with a room by the noisy road, on the first floor, clearly very dated and not well cleaned, and located near the sewer smell mention... Read more

The setting is lovely but our view was of the backs and roofs of businesses [an outlet mall] but also with some hills the Smoky Mountains area is known for on the horizon. The coffee table and living room furniture were looking old and worn but everything seemed super clean with only a tinge of "rental unit" odor. Our unit (#23) was at the top of a very steep hill, glad it wasn't necessary to walk places here as we old folks [73 and 77] would have been tuckered! Very near to an activity c... Read more

We had a great time at Wyndham Smoky Mountains. We requested a unit near the playground because of previous reviews about walking. The playground has rubber pellets, so it is great for small kids that fall alot. The splash pad is also nice. I have two complaints: 1) minor- the showers have not been updated like the rest of the room. small shower head and floor peeling 2) you have to get your parking passes from the sales/update schedulers. my husband and i tried to be nice but finally had to sa... Overall the place is nice and the staff we encountered were friendly. The master tub is on the small side of tubs. The tub in the other bathroom had issues. Looks like they tried to resurface the tub and it is peeling. Shower water pressure sucked! This seems to be an issue we encounter over and over with Wyndham. Carpet in the room had a good bit of wear and tear and what appeared to be gum stuck in the carpet. We had a 2 bedroom and yet only 1 pool towel. When we asked for additional poo... Read more

We just got back from our Smoky Mountain vacation! We absolutely loved the Wyndham Smoky Mountains resort! Everyone was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. The resort had lots of great activities that kept our children (and the adults) entertained the whole week! My boys loved mini golf, the splash pad, and the game room! Most of the reviews I'd previously read mentioned to request a room on the Elkmont side because it had more to do. However, we booked a 2 bedroom lock-out and the ... Read more

We stayed at the Wyndam Smoky Mountains for a week. We requested a refurbished unit and was very pleased with our condo. It was clean, stylish and very comfortable. The front desk was always very helpful and friendly. The "sales pitch" was a lot longer than we were told but we did receive water park passes for the family and our kids were thrilled. The condo is located very close to all the action but still nice and quiet.

Despite having a bad experience with Wyndham Vacation rentals a few years ago while vacationing in the mountains, we decided to give this resort a chance. First of all, I assure everyone that we were very pleased with our accommodations. We had a 2 bedroom condo that was very spacious, clean & comfortable. We were on the fourth floor so noise around and over us was at a very minimum. The kitchen was very well supplied with pots, pans, etc. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well-supplied with bath amenities. The one negative aspect of our stay was the timeshare representative who lied through her teeth over & over. We have been tim... Read more

My wife and I made another weekend getaway to the mountains this last weekend. Stayed at Wyndham Smoky Mountain as we are vacation owners here. The checkin staff was extremely nice and cooperative. We were assigned a mountain view condo and the condo was recently updated however two things concerned us: 1) water pressure was very low and 2) the amount of dead bugs on the balcony after treatment had not been cleaned. After our stay we met with Melissa at the sales office and as usual she was ex... Read more

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo, parking lot level here from 6-4 to 6-10-16 and it left a lot to be desired. Walls , floors and ceilings are paper thin so you hear all the houses from units above, next to and below you. The water pressure is terrible and the mattresses on the two king beds need replaced. When you sit at the dining room tables you feel like you are sitting in a hammock, the chairs really sag. The condo is very spacious but needs lots of upgrading. The parking is terrible and when ... They are helpful, professional and interested in making your stay a pleasant one. If you are here for the activities in the area, the location can't be beat. I visited this location in June 2016 with a group of seven family members. We stayed in a two bedroom deluxe walk-in unit. The room itself was great. It had a full kitchen, two bathrooms, three beds, a pull-out sofa, and plenty of seating for a large group. The room was also very clean. We had mini golf directly outside the room to keep us constantly entertained. There is also enough parking that you don't have to walk too far to your room. This resort has four pools & hot tubs, two putt putt golf courses, a beautiful patio off the main building with a fire pit, bbq grill and charcoal grills thoughout the property. An arcade, pool tables, ping pong & chess/checker tables. A sauna & a childrens splash park. We'll be back in a couple of months, can't wait to explore the resort more!

Room was clean but walls are very thin you can hear everything going on around you and above you. You have to see the "guest services" AKA time share sales to get a parking pass and they don't take no for an answer. They can't just let you relax, they have to hassle you and hassle you to buy more more more. On check out day, maid service starts at 7 AM, and they're not so quiet so don't plan on sleeping in. Wyndham Smoky Mountains is an attractive, clean and comfortable resort in an extremely good location. There is plenty of water to splash in and tons to do locally. All the restaurants one could count are available representing all types of food. There are shows, rides, nature and more. I was comfortable with all aspects of my stay.

We used my father's timeshare points to get a 3BR condo for a week long stay in Pigeon Forge, TN. This resort is very hilly and by hilly I mean it's on a big mountain! Stayed here 4 nights using Wydham points. Beautiful resort, close to all activities in the area. However, the resort is so big, we were too far from the pool and activity room to walk. Facility consists of multiple buildings on both slides of a busy road. Each building has 4 levels, with elevators. The units are attractive and well maintained.

We stayed here last week with our 2 teens through our vacation club. The rooms and property are nice, and the location is great for getting to all of the local attractions. The downside is that amenities are not sufficient for the size of the resort. The pool and hot tubs were always overcrowded, there was not much to the game rooms, and their video rental machines were down. My biggest complaint is that we were asked to go to get "updated on recent changes" to our timeshare. It was not an upd... Read more

First off, the location of the resort is perfect. It is just off the strip yet close to many things to do. We rented a condo through airbnb. Check in was easy and the timeshare workers were still kind to us, even after our rejection of their presentation. The unit was very clean. The resort is sprawling, too. We just came back from a week at The Wyndham Smoky Mountains. Our two bedroom unit was very nice and clean. No complaints at all about cleanliness or room accommodations. As other reviewers have stated pool areas are much to small for the size of the resort. There is one small outdoor pool off of the main check in building and another larger pool in a different area. That one is larger but still small in comparison to number of units. There were two indoor pools as well, though we did not... Read more
