We needed a place to sleep before taking the I-75 detour (due to a rock slide) early the next morning to avoid traffic. Given the tripadvisor ratings, it seemed like a decent place, so I made a reservation. (Because I was looking quickly as we drove, I didn't check out the comments as thoroughly as I normally do--big mistake!) I have no idea what people who rate this place highly are thinking! When I need a place simply to lay my head, I'm not terribly picky, but I would never stay at this m... Read more

Nice people but not a nice place. It was in need of many repairs, not very clean and could use a lot of loving care. I would probably not go back. The price was cheap but it was definitely not well taken care of.

Decent stop for the money and thru accepted the dog! Near all the mountain sites! We stayed one night, breakfast was decent and the room was a bit worn but still a value. The tv was the new flat screen so that was a treat that most econo lodges don't have

If you're looking for a decent, clean Economy hotel, this is a good choice. We spent the night while traveling through the area. The rooms were clean and had been renovated recently, although the furniture was a little dated. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. As an added bonus if you like BBQ, try Coal Creek BBQ about a mile down the road, very good mom & pop type smoke house.

This is another Econo Logde proving that they are sometimes better than their "bigger" brothers. For the money it was well worth it. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable of the area. The room was a little small but with micro and fridge this room was better than some hotels that I have stayed at costing 3 times the price. All in all I was very satisfied, will most definitely be back. Thank you.

We arrived very late after an exhausting 12-hour travel day. We'd just driven three hours without a pitstop, and both Hubby and I needed to use the restroom facilities. That wasn't happening. The lobby is locked after a certain hour - the first time I've ever encountered this in more than a hundred hotel stays worldwide. Despite having our ID and credit card, the woman behind the desk wouldn't allow us in to use the restroom. I doubt we looked like criminals. We waited and waited while she took ... Read more

Room was nice. Can't complain. No internet service. Storm apparently hit close by. Wasn't their fault. But wasn't fixed til next day, long after we left. Breakfast was OK. Affordable stay for travelers going thru area.

My husband and I booked a smoking room with 2 queen bed but they gave us s noon smoking room with a king size bed! The desk clerk was very rude and told us he didn't have a smoking room. The place is a run down dump and full of bugs! Never stay here again!

Travelling with my parents I had requested two rooms with one being accessible for them. When we first arrived (around 5pm) the lobby door was locked. I wondered where have I booked that has to lock it's door at 5pm?? We checked in fine and went to our rooms. The rooms were adjoined but there wasn't door knob on my door so I had to jerry-rig a coat hanger to open it. My mom called my into her bathroom where there were dead bugs in the shower stall. When I mentioned this to the clerk the next day... Read more

What do you expect, this place is a roadside hotel. July holiday weekend, with tax somewhere in the $80 range. Staff was friendly. Place was clean, but could have been cleaner, though it was not dirty by any stretch. I would certainly stay here again with out any reservations. If you are looking for a place to get off the road you have found it.

We arrived late. About midnight. Clerk was locked in the lobby, did our transaction through a window. Safe neighborhood? With tax and extra for a pet ($15), we spent almost $92! The room was somewhat clean-ish. The bed comfort was awful (lumpy beds and flat pillows) and the sheets felt and smelled like some kind of Lysol product has been sprayed on them to "freshen" them up. Gross. There is lots of road construction--that happens at night--so the noise resulted in NO SLEEP. We literally... Read more

We found our room to be clean and quiet. The furniture seemed dated but with quaint designs. Loved the unique feel. Lots of eateries within walking distance -- Cracker Barrel, KFC, etc. Another nice thing was that rooms on both floors were ground floors as the buildings are built on a slope. Had many problems with the WiFi, and although the clerk was very nice trying to help, it was never quite right. Very frustrating. I still think we should have stayed at the cute Blue Haven Motel down the roa... Read more

Booked this as our overnight stop between Mi and Ga. Found the rooms to be what we expected...good place to catch some sleep. Rooms looked well kept, no mold, no funny smells, clean beds and towels. Econo lodge is not a high-end hotel, don't expect it to be so and you'll be fine. My only advice for the hotel would be to beef up the breakfast a little.

Stayed one night on our way to Florida. Was a basic hotel room. Cheap rate and easy to get to. Clean room and front desk staff was nice. Did not stay for breakfast. We left early and didn't want to wait for the staff to set everything up. Would recommend.

This was a nice place and it had many eat places close. If you are on a budget and want the small town feel rather then big city chose this town. People are friendly. It is a place you can feel safe and do a walk.

We stayed there for four days. The staff was always polite and helpful. The owner Mr. Patel told me he has been the owner for over 30 years. During our stay the door to the room broke and when he could not fix it in 20 minutes or so, he promptly moved me to another room. He was so nice. His wife came by later and checked to see if everything is OK. The rooms in the 300 range were very roomy and had a nice view of the mountains around the area. Overall I would go back just to enjoy the hos... Read more
