We stayed this past weekend for the first time at Vacation Lodge. We stayed in the Queen Suite, with the jacuzzi and fireplace. Pros- Room clean, location convenient, could not hear "much" through the walls, microwave and small refrig in the room, nice lady at check in and check out. Loved the jacuzzi and fireplace. Cons- most of the lights in the room did not work, did not have a balcony, room overlooking a gas station and car wash, breakfast was ok, but walking to the breakfast the employees... Read more

Our 2nd stay here. Very clean and very nice staff. We even got in our room a little early. Love being on the main road. You can walk to the Old Mill. The office told us about the specials that some restaurants had going on this month. Great staff.

In July, my husband and one of my brothers decided to go to Pigeon Forge. I love staying in cabins, but we wanted something more affordable. We booked for 1 night. We decided on a whim to leave a night earlier and that put as booking at another motel on the strip that we won't name. It was outdated, smelled funny, and only had a shower. The next day at 12 pm we checked into our two bed jacuzzi mini suite at Vacation Lodge and it was a breath of fresh air. Smelled clean, was clean. The beds had c... Read more

My family and I stayed at the Vacation Lodge during October. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel! It was a very pleasant experience. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, and the staff was very nice and hospitable. It's in a great location too, almost right in the middle of the Pigeon Forge area. We will definitely be back at the Vacation Lodge!

Pros: close to shopping and some local attractions, comfy beds, ample tv channels, hot breakfast, close and free parking to room, free wifi (hit and miss at times though), coffee maker, mini fridge, room was dated and clean enough, decent motel for the price but in a great location. Breakfast: Sausage and gravy biscuits, sausage links one day and eggs (which my husband LOVED) the next, frosted flakes, cheerios, bugles w/ cream cheese, fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts, milk (which was great!), orang... Reserved a room here on a whim, on the way home from Nashville and headed to the Raleigh Durham area. I was loathe to spend my Hilton or Marriott points, as this stop-over was simply a place to lay our heads for <12 hours. My 18 year old daughter has always wanted to visit Pigeon Forge, as Dolly Parton is her IDOL. What a pleasant surprise. This motel is very centrally located. Lots within walking distance. Check-in was efficient; and also just a lovely, friendly southern exchange. Our first flo... Read more

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Great for the price we paid. It's in a great location that's close to everything. The room was clean. The only downside was the pillows. They were completely flat. They definitely needed to be replaced. So bring your own. I would stay here again.

My observation for vacation lodge was the following. - staff nice, informed of us free breakfast upon check in, etc. - rooms are older , but it seems that they have attempted to modernize the rooms the best they can. - rooms were clean - the pool looked a little gross , it was not covered , just green and black , BUT .. the fires and storms had just come through a few weeks before that so I thought maybe that was the aftermath. We were not going swimming of course ( December), so I wasn't re... Read more

This place is AWESOME, especially for the price!!! Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and CLEAN!!! The fireplace was a cozy touch, and the lady at the front desk was very sweet and kind! Added to this was a hot, delicious breakfast at NO extra charge!! Fresh, hot biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs fresh orange juice and GREAT coffee the first day, and again (sausage links instead of eggs) the second day - the lady that runs the breakfast uses only the best ingredients, and she const...
