We have stayed here a number of times while visiting Pigeon Forge. The suite is just what we want for a multi-night stay. Plenty of room for all our computer activities. The hotel has been maintanted. The beding is up to date, some of the carpet looks new, the furnishings all work and don't look worn and the front desk was friendly. The location is quite convenient for visiting Dollywood and avoiding the traffic on the Parkway. The breakfast is adequate and we haven't ever needed the outdoor ... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay! It was nice to have the sink and counter space outside of the bathroom, as we traveled with our nine-month-old and had to wash bottles. The mini-fridge and microwave were also nice for storing and heating her food. Breakfast was sufficient. The hotel is a little outside of the main attraction area, which was nice and quiet. Still convenient to everything! Overall, we would stay again!

Arrived at hotel and was greeted by Ashley. Very nice, sweet and inviting after a long trip from NC. She had my reservations handy and rooms ready. I requested to change one of my rooms and Keith, who was at the desk, was also extremely understanding as well as accommodating. The rooms were both large, visibly clean and smelled pleasant. The breakfast selection was also surprisingly good by hotel standards. Keith made sure that there was no lack of anything and they did not run out of anything. ... Read more

The other side of the room had a pullout sofa and coffee table. Micro fridge in room. Very comfortable bed and clean room and bathroom. Quiet stay. Did not hear much and we were right by the elevator and ice machine. Breakfast was ok. Typical hotel food. Scrambled eggs, biscuits&gravy, sausage links, wheat and white bread, bage... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and my mom for a fun weekend getaway. We booked Microtel through booking.com (beware - check your room selection, as there was miscommunication between the two parties). I did not care for the front desk woman telling us that a lot of guests complain to solely get a free room. The other front desk person, a man, was a bit friendlier. Was a nice place had a few areas that needed attention the ice machines were very dirty. I went to both machines to check out. Told manger and they did clean. Was afraid to use the ice. Throw on sofa to cover up lots of snags. Staff needs to be aware of the small areas that needs to be cleaned. Breakfast was good wish had more selection of fresh fruit. Over all a nice place. Would stay again. Pool was very small always had a lot of children not much room for just wanting to relax by the pool.

Overall the Microtel in Pigeon Forge isn't the worst place you can stay, but I will definitely be choosing another hotel the next time I visit. First off, the entrance can only be accessed from the north side of the road, so you have to go to the next light and do a U turn to get to it. The room was very average, including the cleanliness. There was a dead bug in the windowsill along with other dirt. Obviously the cleaning staff doesn't bother to clean the windows. The bathroom was clean, and so... Read more

My past experiences with Wyndham have been good, so I booked bc the Wyndham name. Apparently not all wyndhams are created equal. The exterior is attractive. The interior is dated. Not an issue if it is clean; it wasn't. Bedding was fresh but old with cigarette burns. See through bath towels and "stuff" stuck to the wall in bathroom. We stayed here because we have had great experience with Microtel in the past. Our room was nice and clean. I was concerned when we first arrived and took the elevator to our room as the elevator smelled strongly of "wet dog", but the room was great. The only negative was that a couple of the towels were obviously old. They were clean but thinner than the other two. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel will fool you from the outside. It sits on a main street providing access to every direction you'd like to travel. There's a serious foundation issue with the room(s) being unbalanced. The housekeepers have envelopes in the room for A Reminder to leave a tip. Electrical issued exist which is obvious by the light switch being almost in the bed literally. The hotel has a odor to it.

Room was ok, a little out dated, had a funny smell inside but stronger in the hallway. We bought some febreze for the room that helped out. Breakfast was crowded since they have it on the 3rd floor and have limited seating available. The pool is very small and the water was a little green when we stayed. The atmosphere is good. From the outside look beautiful and welcoming. But some of the beds have very old torn and worn sheets, can be seen in the picture. Also our room was not very clean. If you are costco club member book your room by the phone. You can pay much less :)

Room was clean and a suite at no extra cost. Stayed on the fourth floor which had the ice machine, washer and dryer, vending machines. Hot breakfeast with eggs with sausage and sausage gravy with waffles ect... was on the 3rd. Everything I needed as a traveled around Pigeon Forge. Right in the middle of everything.

Got a room late for a Labor Day. Added nearly 50 percent premium and required two night stay at higher rate. My wife and I travel a lot spur of the moment. Have stayed at Microtel on a few occasions but never again or any other Wyndahm properties. Cost us nearly 70 dollars extra per night. Room had slight odor but was clean and had a very good breakfast. Even though a holiday bad business in my opinion.

The room we stayed in was very stinky it smelled like pee and there was mold on the ceiling. Also stained sheets and pillow cases. Very uncomfortable bed I wish I would've known before we got this hotel. The front office was very clean and nice but that's about it.

This hotel allows pets. That is why I chose it. The pet rooms are on the first floor near the side entrance which is convenient for walking dogs. The designated pet rooms have wood laminate floors instead of carpet, which is good. I did not have breakfast there because it was all carbohydrates.

We love microtels, confident they are clean and safe. However this stay was a 13 hr stay and our bill was over $100 more than when we stay in Lexington. I realize it's a big vac spot. But that much difference was terrible. We will keep our trips more local.

It was ok, the room was pretty cool, even though you could tell it was pretty old, glass window was cracked, quiet and friendly, and a hot breakfast in the morning. We didn't use the pool. It was very tiny, don't think our family of 4 could even fit in it at once.

Recently installed vinyl-wood flooring in the room was very dirty. The room had a funny smell. I had trouble getting a military discount after booking through a third-party website. The checkin clerk left zero notes of the rate change after it was approved, which caused frustration and delays during checkout. My credit card has a pending charge for the first night. My wife's debit card has a pending charge for both nights. Very frustrating situation

Although this hotel was equipped with a handicapped accessible room, the bathroom layout was odd. The towel bar for the bath towels was located at the far end of the bathroom and the hand towel bar (too small for bath towels) was across from the tub. There was no vanity to the sink and if a person in a wheelchair pulled up to it, they were in danger of knocking out the sink supports ( wooden dowels about 1/2 inch in diameter). The mirror at the sink was too high for a person in a wheelchair t... Read more

Upon arrival - we were super early - we were checked in and given the key to our room. While we had a couple of issues, they were resolved to our complete satisfaction. The only complaint with the room was the TV - why do they put these up so high and in this case, it was aimed at the sleeping area instead of the sofa area and of course, it couldn't be moved, so it was a bit of a pain to watch. We managed though. The breakfast was awesome - hot dishes - eggs, sausage and waffles. The hotel i... Read more

We chose this Microtel location because it was pet friendly and because it was a great deal. Now that we've stayed there, though, we would definitely recommend it to anyone and stay there again ourselves. There were a couple little things that could have been better (no reading lights in the room--only overheads, missing "Do not disturb sign" and told they were completely out), but the location is amazing, the place is in great shape overall, and the staff is awesome.
