My family and I stayed here for a week for my birthday and it was amazing! Fridge and microwave were convenient for the length of our stay. Room was very clean and housekeeping always kept toiletries replenished. Not to mention we were so excited to have breakfast every morning! The location is perfect for restaurants, activities, and a perfect view of the mountains. Definitely stay here if you're in the area!

This hotel is in a great location in pigeon forge near dollywood and the tanger outlets. The breakfast was good. We really enjoyed the indoor pool. The pool appeared to be clean but once in the water noticed the tiles along the edge needed cleaning. The grass in the front of the hotel needed to be cut. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. I thought the cost, $100 per room during spring break, was reasonable.

The location is fine for the area. There are many closely restaurants and attractions. This is probably the most worn out Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed. Needs to be updated. Air Conditioning did not work that well.

This hotel is in a great location very close to a lot of attractions, including the LeConte Center and Dollywood. It is very well worn though and is in much need of updates. Our room was small and had double beds. The carpet in the room and throughout the hotel was worn and stained. The air unit was very loud and there were very few outlets in the room. The closet door was pretty much unusable. The bathroom was clean and decent but had no fan. The staff was nice enough and accommodated an early ... Read more

Second time staying here. Won't be back. Location was about the only good thing. Room was decent, well worn, but not real clean. Dual charging outlets directly under TV turned out to not even be connected to electricity. My phone and IPad did not get charged at all. Left me with no phone service. I am. IGH member, but will try some other hotel on my next trip to Pigeon Forge. And the "breakfast" was lousy. Not much selection of mostly COLD food. Good riddance!

Can't anyone control their loud children and be respectful of the room next door. Holiday had no respect for me as a guest that I worked all day and drove for hours and tried to get some R&R just to be awaken extremely early by children next door. You better believe (if I EVER stay at another Holiday inn) I'll be asking for a room without guests on either side.

We usually stay at a different hotel when in Pigeon Forge, but they were booked during our 2 night stay there. Always have nice experience with Holiday Inn Express and decided to give it a try. Beds were very nice and room clean. Had a great view of the King Kong on top of the wax museum from our window! The morning breakfast was awesome. It was very busy, but they kept everything full and hot- complete with eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy and lots of other items. Nice friendly check-in and... Read more

Signed up for a Time-Share presentation at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club in Gatlinburg in exchange for a free stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You could tell the hotel hadn't been updated in awhile, but nothing horrible, just not new and fresh; but it was kept clean. It seemed like we could hear more noise through the door in our room than usual, didn't have a great seal. Breakfast was good. Cool view of King Kong climbing the wax museum building from ou... The lobby is very nice, smells fantastic and very clean, elevator also nice and I had a good impression from it., but our room was very old, the carpet was stained and the tolet and bathtub ran all night. When we turned down our sheets they were very knotted and it felt like you were sleeping in sand.

This hotel is very clean. It has large rooms for a great price. It was just my husband and I so we reserved the king bed jacuzzi room. It has a separate living room, a huge bathroom, which included a walk in shower with two sinks. Two televisions, as well. Breakfast is delicious. Very friendly staff. It's close to attractions and the location is great. Very quiet. I would recommend to anyone visiting this part of the state.

Stayed here as part of a time share presentation deal. While the hotel was reasonably clean, the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast, the accommodations are pretty basic and dated. Bathroom has terrible lighting and zero ventilation. Doors are thin and have a huge gap underneath to let light in. The pool is a normal indoor pool but many of the other pools at hotels in the area had a waterslide - which my toddler threw a tantrum about because he wanted to go... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. After reading the reviews from others I was a little skeptical. When we arrived the lady and gentlemen at the front desk were so nice. The room was clean and breakfast was great. Pillows and bed was comfortable. I recommend this hotel. We bought this hotel using a Priceline express deal. Beware if you consider this!! We stayed here before about 4 years ago and liked it, so we didn't bother reading reviews. Bad decision on our part! We were given a room on the 3rd floor. The hallway walls on our way up were scuffed and the carpets dirty. The room was worse. Huge, awful stains on the carpet and stool. Hair on the bed. It was so bad I went and asked for a different room, knowing we couldn't ask for a refund. We were given a "reno... Read more

We are rewards members and had booked what we thought was two stays. When we got there, they said they only showed one night. After spending 30mins on the phone for rewards points to be released, Josh Thompson took matters into his own hands and insisted they call and speak with him and he would let them know they had a room for us to stay. Since it took so long, Josh's shift was over and he handed things off to Janette who was just as awesome and took care of all our needs. Yes, the hotel needs... Read more

We detoured to Pigeon Forge to see Dollywood, but the traffic was so heavy there was no way that was going to happen. We are partial to the Holiday Inn Express chain for several reasons (good service, breakfast, value for money) but did not expect to find such small, soft, sagging and uncomfortable beds. We traveled with grandkids and both beds were equally bad. Looks like they are overdue for replacement. The hotel itself is a little hard to find amid all the attractions - it's a little off... The hotel was decent but I will not stay at this hotel ever again. I will stay at the regular Holiday Inn in Pigeon Forge as the price difference was not worth it. While the breakfast was OK and the rooms were clean the air-conditioning was not good. IT was either too hot or too cold and the thermometer did not work very well.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The location was great and the rooms were very nice. On our trip home my youngest daughter realized she had left her beloved blankie behind so as she cried I frantically called the hotel and asked if they could look for it. I admit I'm a clean freak. The carpet was filthy. We had a 19 mo with us and were too afraid to let him touch the floor. The room was dated with old wall paper, the bathroom was the worst (for dated), the shower curtain was too small for the rod...thus the breeze while taking a shower. Would have been nice to have some variety with the morning breakfast...the only difference really was either scrambled eggs (good) or the "omelet like" (only cheese in them) eggs that in my opinion were bad. ... Usual comfortable bed and pillows at a Holiday Inn Express. We had a reservation, ended up with a travel delay, cancellation policy was that we would be charged for the room. We contacted the hotel and the manager agreed to waive the cancellation fee. I booked the hotel for the next night instead. Stayed there one night in early September, 2016 (it was a Sunday night) and it cost me a ton. I stayed four nights in Gatlinburg for about twice as much as that one night cost me in Pigeon Forge. I have stayed at other places in Pigeon Forge that were AS NICE for lots less. My advice, don't waste your time here, move along.

Very disappointed in my stay here. This hotel is very old and needs an update bad. The smell of smoke and just old hits you in the face when you walk into lobby to check in. The rooms and bathrooms were also unacceptable in my book. I am shocked that holiday inn would let a property get this bad. Staff was very friendly . Wont be back.

The hotel is old and needs to be updated. The pillows were to flat, coffee maker did not work. Room and hallway had a old smell to it. As for the bathroom the toilet leak and they had to come fix it. The shower pipes sounded like a tea kettle boiling if you turned the hot water up to high. The people who worked there where all nice.

This hotel is an older property and could really use some sprucing up, but the staff was as sweet as can be and we had the entire pool to ourselves two nights in a row! As an IHG Platinum Member, I've stayed at some great Holiday Inns...this wasn't one of them. With that said, it wasn't a bad stay, just not up to the standard of most Holiday Inns. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was professional and the hotel was close to several eateries and attractions. However, the normally good breakfast was bad, really bad. All and all, it was an average stay.

The front desk people were friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable with extra counter space in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with a nice variety and delicious cinnamon rolls. It was also close enough to walk to a few stores and restaurants.
