Check in was slow. Got in around 11 at night and they had 5 people working the front desk. I stood in line for 15 to 30 minutes. Bed and pillows were great. However, the walls and doors are thin and you can hear people talking in the halls and upstairs Place is so big you need a map or GPS to get around.

We just back from staying at The Inn at Opryland and had a great time. Free shuttle to Opry Mills was an added bonus. Restaurant was great!! Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Great experience and everything you would expect from a Marriott hotel. Front desk clerks were very helpful..

We landed late afternoon and had tickets to the Opry that evening. So we wanted to stay somewhere close. The pictures looked good and the price was right. But after we arrived, we noticed the place is very old, smells a little funky, and has a lot of deferred maintenance.

We asked our travel agent to move us from the Millenium Maxwell. The Inn at Opreyland is only a shuttle ride away from downtown but it opens new options in music food and shopping that you would not have explored. And the staff are incredible: Shelley at reception is the one with the big hair and a big heart to match. I've never seen anyone work so hard to make the guest happy- she even arranged a complimentary shuttle pass because it was my birthday !

This was a nice hotel. They had an indoor pool, the staff was friendly and it was clean. We had tickets to the Opry and they provided a free shuttle. There was also the Backstage Grill which was nice with live music.

Yes, this is an older property that has been remodeled and it still has a motel look to it. Aside from that, I do not understand why so many negative reviews. We found the staff to be very helpful and polite. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Best of all with a "fee" you can get an unlimited shuttle pass that will take you to all the tourist spots (or real close to them) and some of them are at least a $25 cab fare each way. Take a cab from the airport and then take advantage of the shut... Read more

This hotel is wonderful. we arrived around 9;30 in the morning on check in day and they had our room all ready for us. That made my day. We stayed on the outside of the hotel with our door on the exterior and the traffic was alittle loud. But the hotel staff was very friendly and the property was very clean.

We stayed two nights while in Nashville and the room was clean and the bed comfortable but this has to be the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had requested an exterior room but was given an interior room. The pool is in the atrium area and was extremely noisy. They have a "quiet time" from 9:00 pm - 9:00 am but kids were running up and down the hallway screaming until 10:00 pm. I was just about to call the front desk when ithe noise miraculously stopped. We were talking with some guest... Read more

Stayed at this hotel this year, because of a price hike at the Opryland Hotel. This place has a lot few amenity, however, hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean, and there was free parking. Very close to a lot of good restaurants. There is even one in the hotel. Had a room on the bottom floor, the room was very close to where I parked my car.

On my Vacation to Nashville I stayed at the Gaylord Resort, my room was excellent along with the scenery or the garden outside my window, the room service was great and was the highlight of my vacation. I definitely recommend staying here, I loved it and hope you will too. Best Wishes!

The hotel was comfortable and convenient and I would stay there again if I did not have to hear music every night from the ballroom below. There is a 9pm quiet zone, but there was very loud music coming from a reunion on the first floor when my room was on the third floor. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel restaurant was spectacular. It was lovely being able to eat wonderful hotel food. My family and I had several different meals there on different occasions. Overall the hotel its... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for a conference that was across the street. When walking into the Inn you are greeted by the strong smell of chlorine from the indoor pool behind the lobby. The room I stayed in had water stains on the ceiling and the carpet was frayed. Other than that, the room was clean. I mentioned the Inn's shortcomings in a follow-up survey and was personally contacted by the manager.

The name is misleading if you think this is the Gaylord Opryland showplace. If you are thinking about staying here please try to get a room that opens to the indoor atrium/pool area. The motel rooms that face the parking lot are in need of renovation and maintenance. High levels of sirens, road noise, people shouting in the parking lot, etc. Would recommend Marriott fix or drop this one from their offering. Not impressed for the price.

This was the second time in 3 years I stayed in this hotel for work related activities. The check-in experience & lobby ambiance were fine, free shuttle to Opryland Convention Center and shopping mall was a plus. There was a plenty parking spaces outside and free wi-fi in the room. It sounds great on paper. The issue we ran into was small room, tiny closet for clothes and about 7' ceiling in the bathroom sink area. The TV was an old fashioned small screen first generation-like flat TV, no centra... Read more

My family & I were in Nashville last week for a fun-filled, family weekend. Being the frequent travelers we are, we generally have good eyes for finding quality hotels. Upon reviewing several hotels online, we felt confident that the Inn at Opryland, A Gaylord Hotel, would have to be a great place to stay (after all, if Opryland would place their infamous name on a venue, it should be pretty pleasant right??!-wrong). The initial appearance of the hotel as very gratifying; the exterior was nice a... Read more

Noisy and dated property. I am AMAZED, SHOCKED and APPALLED that this is a Marriott! There are many rules about children and then we could not sleep because the hotel was hosting an adult class reunion with blasting music. Furthermore, there is a nice restaurant and the staff was ok, location is great but the rooms were very small. The beds were doubles disguised as queens. Our bathroom was not as clean as any Marriott standard.

The configuraton here is unusual, with a ground floor pol, surrounded on the next few floors with the rooms. Almost like a centrium on a cruise ship. I wouldn't want to stay here if I had mobility issues. The trip from the few lifts to the rooms isn't that close. If you do have mobility issues, let them know when you book, as there are a few rooms on the ground floor close to the side entrance. The rooms were nice enough, and the pool & jaquzi were nice. Don't expect muxh food fromt he hotel, as... Read more

Stayed July 1st for the TSA convention not a bad hotel, little outdated, housekeeping not great at all, made the bed but didn't clean the bathroom at all towels still on floor from night before. Thought closing the pool at 9pm little silly. Front desk GREAT. The restaurant was good and the live music was GREAT.

Was so thrilled to stay right across the street from the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort! The Inn is a very nice hotel with lovely rooms and amenities. There is a free shuttle service from the Inn to the Gaylord as well as to the outlet stores â?? sure beats paying $24 to park at the Gaylord (rip-off). We took the shuttle to the Gaylord, had lunch at one of the few places open (Fuse - which was like a big sports bar with decent food) and then walked to the Grand Ole Opry (suggestion: do the... I must admit I was a little nervous after I read some reviews. There was no need to be. We were greeted by Tim who couldn't have been nicer and was able to get us an early check in. The room was lovely, very well equipped and had SUPER comfortable beds. The quiet hours are 9-9 and were obeyed. There is live music in the restaurant most nights, which does play beyond 9pm, but isn't that why we are visiting Nashville? To hear music? The pool is gorgeous, with ample comfortable seating. We were meeting friends that were staying at the Opryland Hotel(OH). The OH was sold out so we stayed at The Inn at Opryland and LOVED our accommodations!!!!!! The Inn was a MUCH better price and our room was bigger and nicer than our friends room at Opryland Hotel. We definitely spent most of our time at the OH but it was easy to go back and forth. It was my first time in Nashville. If I go back I will definitely stay at The Inn again!!!!

Looks ok from the outside, public areas seem ok but the room absolutely stinks. It smells like there is a damp towel somewhere and our room is not the only one, after speaking to other guests. Maybe the aircon should have it's filter changed more often. It's an outside room so it's very noisy too, all you can hear is engine noise. Touring holiday so no choice of inside room. Very disappointing.

The hotel is fairly average with small rooms. The first day our room did not get cleaned which was a little poor, on the third night there was a school reunion party which was under us. We expected the noise to stop at 9 as there were signs saying quite zone after this time. At 9:15 we complained and they said they would get them to turn the music down which of course never happened, I went to reception and joined the queue of guests complaining and got another room, but the staff really didn't ... I stayed at this motel in early July with my two girls. We were in town for the Dance Masters convention, which was held at the Opryland resort across the street. This motel was fine. It was clean, neat, and met our needs. I thought the beds were comfortable. The parking was free, and there was a shuttle that ran twice an hour over to the Opryland complex. The rooms were a little dated, but the price was good. There was an indoor pool but we didn't swim; lots of others were in there and seemed to be enjoying it. If you stay here, the shuttle is very overpriced. Take an Uber instead if you want to head downtown.

Stayed at the Inn at Opryland in July for a conference. The hotel has rooms that you enter from the interior atrium like area and rooms that can only be entered from the exterior of the building. First, i completely recommend getting interior entry rooms. You can tell it has undergone a major renovation to include placing a roof over the entire courtyard area of the building creating the atrium area which houses large spaces for a pool, meeting area, meals, banquets, etc. Some of the awesome ...
