I had a hard time finding hotels for a reasonable price for a one night stay. Jamiee at the frontdesk was very warming and patient accommodating me. She was able to give me a good rate and even called up to my room to make sure everything was ok and comfortable. I told her I would let management know that I really appreciate her. I was having a bad day but she brighten up my day you rarely find good people in the hotel business. I would definitely stay again. Jamiee you rock!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights and everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Gwen at the front desk. Everyday we came back to a clean room thanks to Vanessa. Great location, only drawback was slow wifi in room. Overall a great stay!

Rooms were clean and staff, particularly Alisa was friendly/helpful. The hotel is very well located at and is walking distance to Broadway. If you do not want to walk, a Taxi to Broadway is $5. If I travel back to Nashville, staying at the Capitol will be a priority of mine!

Great staff! Gwen, Alise and Alfred were wonderful. BilliJo was a great bartender and Jose was very friendly. Everybody made you feel at home! Convenient location. Room doors were outside but did not present a problem. Valet parking for a nominal fee. Oh...and the free breakfast was great. The breakfast staff friendly and attentive. Definitely would stay again!

Jaimee was great! Hotel was fun. Will stay again! I can't say how awesome Jaimee was! She went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. If you come to Tennessee, want an affordable hotel near the action, stay here.

Although the weather was very cold and the door to our room was outside, we still were snug in our room. The hotel apparently has been updated recently; the decor was top notch. It was only a few blocks to downtown sites and the free bus downhill to Ryman and Broadway. The free reakfast was amazing. Gwen and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to pay for valet parking on-site.

Most expensive of a number of hotels in a two week trip and not the best. Shop around in Nashville there are other options, perfectly serviceable but why breakfast on plastic plates! Yes for washing up sake but it's so tacky.

We were happy with the location of this hotel in relation to the bars and restaurants on Broadway Street and the Rymann Theater. Only a four block walk. The hotel is across the street from the Tennessee Capitol, so it is also a convenient location if your staying in town for government business. The room was clean (thanks to Ann Marie), comfortable, and nicely decorated. I slept great...the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was small and you can hear street noise from inside. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful trip to Nashville and The Capitol Hotel was one of the reasons. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the continental breakfast had many options. We were greeted at the front desk by Brittany who was very polite and extremely informative regarding the amenities of the hotel. The valet was also wonderful and Axel was quick and courteous when taking our vehicle and bringing it to us. We would definitely recommend The Capitol Hotel and will be staying again on ou...
