A group of us stayed here for a bachelorette party, and had a great time. The hotel was gorgeous, staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a great experience, and the price was reasonable! It was within walking distance to Broadway as well, which made it even better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Comfortable rooms, very nice staff. The amount of pillows was awesome, and the beds totally the best! The breakfast buffet was well stocked, but for a Sunday it closed really really really too soon. I went for what I thought would be brunch at 11:30AM and was refused service. I didn't want a sandwich in the bar, I wanted breakfast food. I was directed to a place nearby, and it was so crowded I couldn't even get in the door. So walked back to the Sheraton f... Read more

The Room was great!! It was large and very bright. We arrived earlier in the day and they had our room all ready for us. They were very friendly and helpful. We were going to use their free shuttle service, but didn't need it because what we were going to was closer then we realized.

This hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and very modern. The only negative during our stay was that it hosted several hen parties or graduation celebrations so maybe May is not the best month.

While I was only staying here for one night for a business trip, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was wonderful. The valet is fast and convenient. With their "text system" its very easy to have your car outside waiting on you for once. Everyone greats you with a smile and warm welcome as soon as you pull up. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and quiet. The king sized bed is so comfy and soft; its probably the best sleep I've ever had while staying at a hotel. The downstairs ba... Read more

The hotel is really nice. The bed slept so good. No fridge in the rooms was the only thing I missed. Pretty close to downtown. They offer a shuttle if the walk is too far. Staff was all very nice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

The hotel is located a short distance from Broadway. There is a complimentary shuttle available but its just as quick to walk. The bathroom is very small and did not have an exhaust fan. The safe is located on a top shelf in the closet which makes it a bit more challenging to use. The air conditioner would start up and shut off every couple of minutes which would disturb a light sleeper. The beds were comfortable and hotel itself quite clean and well appointed. The hotel was very nice but they do change a lot for parking, every time we left and came back it was a new charge. They also had a pretty high resort fee. The only other complaint was that their free shuttle serves only ran to certain places right around the hotel. So it would take you to Broadway Street but not much other than that. The hotel it's self was clean and comfortable. We most likely won't stay there again. We've stayed a little farther away from Broadway without all the fees and onl... Read more

We were attending a wedding at the War Museum Auditorium across the street and this hotel provided the perfect location, with the wedding venue being just 1/2 block from the entrance of the hotel. The staff was friendly, parking ample ($30 a day - be aware) and if we'd had more time to explore, we could have stopped down at the strip of bars, restaurants and entertainment on Broadway, just 3 or 4 blocks from the hotel. It was a VERY expensive 1 night stay ($408 with taxes and fees), but we reall... Read more

I travel two out of four weeks a month and I always stay at the Downtown Sheraton when I'm in Nashville because Jonelle and her front desk crew always make me feel like I'm coming back to a place like home. The Sheraton is convenient, sparkling clean and, most of all, welcoming. You can't go wrong here.

We spent 5 nights here and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is recently remodeled and it showed. Comfortable beds, new TVs, a great bar with food service until midnight. All of the employees we dealt with were friendly and well trained. The hotel is located a 5-6 block walk from the "action" but there are several good restaurants even closer than that. It's downhill into town but uphill coming back. We hit a 90+ temp day or two so the walk back wasn't easy. There are pedicabs and ... Read more

There was a problem with my reservation, but the guys on that night got it sorted for me. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Downtown, which was good for me as I was doing CMA Fest. The staff at the Sheraton were excellent, especially the room service woman who took my order and had housekeeping bring me some (free) bottled water after a truly sweltering day in Nashville. The bed was quite comfortable and my room was quiet, but there were some less than ideal points. The internet was slow and inconsistent and the bathroom wasn't in great shape- the makeup mirror was coming off the wall and the shower flow wasn't ideal. Great hotel if you want to be in the center of town. Like most Starwoods, we had excellent service, an easy check-in and pleasant customer service. Best of all, the heavenly beds.Super comfortable. Rooms were quiet for a city hotel. The hotel only has two restaurants. One just serves breakfast. The other is more of a bar, but you can order limited bar type food. Looking for a quick get away we headed to Nashville. We booked on an OTA at a great rate last minute. The Sheraton is newly remodeled in a beautiful, contemporary design. The rooms were spacious and well appointed; VERY clean! The rooms have unique design features representing country music. Ours had a quote from Dolly Parton! The only negatives were lack of refrigerator and the weak water pressure. The staff was courteous and very professional. I highly recommend staying here.

Building's lobby was beautiful, and all employees were wonderful. Might be great if your trip is being funded by a corporate expense account but otherwise rather expensive for limited amenities you receive (tiny bathroom, no hot tub or outdoor pool, no refrig/microwave to chill or reheat things). Loved the cucumber water in the lobby :) Although I wasn't crazy about the location, if you want to walk back to the hotel from downtown, be ready for hills. However, cabs are readily available. First class service, but at a steep price is found at the downtown Sheraton -- $60 breakfast for 1 1/2. Everything you would expect at a $300 plus hotel, but nothing special. The one exception, and the service that will probably bring me back to the Sheraton, is the 10 block downtown shuttle. Parking is at a premium and taxis are a rare sight. We booked a suite and it was very well appointed and a very good size. However, the bathroom was a real disappointment, very small with a step in tub type shower. For a suite we did expect something bigger. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. We had access to the lounge and again the breakfast service was very good. We did not go to the lounge for drinks in the evening, we were out on the town every night, but were informed we had to pay for drinks at a reduced rate which is q... Read more

Pros: Great location in downtown. Free Wifi. Black-out curtains. Lots of space in the rooms. Clean. New. Incredibly helpful concierge. Just so easy to do anything, I was so relaxed here. Cons: Laundry service is expensive, like most hotels.

This is the nicest and most comfortable hotel I have every stayed at! The text enabled assistance gives this establishment an edge over its competitors. From the staff at the front desk to the room and it's amenities. I give it all an A+!

The rooms are very artistically designed and have very cute and "Nashville" accessories. The design of the hotel is funky and very modern. We stayed for a week and had a great time. The hotel bar is superb and so was the location.

What started out as a bit negative turned into a major positive! Had a small problem, spoke to a few people and had a wonderful experience with several on the Sheraton staff. Matt and Matthew from front desk were very helpful. Alyssa in the Bistro was fabulous. She made us feel like we were appreciated guests. Rooms are great. Beds are so comfortable with their nice, nice linens. Love the fact you can go green and get rewarded for it. Love this location able to get a shuttle free of charge ... Read more

When we first decided on this hotel, we got an original price then all of a sudden the price escalated quickly! We were not sure why however we now realise it was because of the massive beach body conference which saw thousands coming to the city so that could explain it. We used the jarmon transportation airport shuttle to the hotel which was great. When we arrived. we were checked in promptly and we were offered to switch the room we had been assigned (2 queen beds) for a room with a king bed... Read more

We stayed for a couples weekend in Nashville, staying at the Sheraton Downtown. We were greeted at the front desk by Steve who was so welcoming and kind with so much patience with all our questions. Great way to start a weekend. The hotel location is awesome, you can walk to some great diners or downtown or you can make use of their shuttle service. The rooms are beautiful and very well kept. Housekeepers did a great job (and we are very particular). You can't go wrong with this hotel, it's... Read more

The front staff, specifically Janel the lady who worked on the far right from the customers view on 8-17-2016, was so rude and showed no compassion at all. The story begins when we booked the hotel online and it asked what time we were arriving. We entered 12:30pm. Normal check in is at 3:00pm. The option was there so we chose it to check in early and get ready for our event at the hotel. When we arrived the guys at the Valet were so nice! When we went inside, Janel, was who we encounter... This was a great weekend. My son lives in Huntsville, and my daughter was visiting from New York City. It was a little chilly. But, we really enjoyed our stay. I stayed in while my 30 year children went out one night and enjoyed the downtown. We went to a small restaurant the next morning that was fantastic, and then shopping. We also went to check out the HBCUs in the area. Very good stay. Best of all the hotel price was excellent.

We stayed in June. It was very hot out and the hotel couldn't properly cool our room. The room was over 75% and smelled like a locker room. We asked to change the air filter and that didn't help. They did move us for one of the 2 nights. It was a great gesture, but won't stay there again

Excellent service on check in. Everything exceeded my expectations. Club level very accommodating and convenient hours. Maid service very prompt and efficient. Restaurant and lounge seemed to be reasonably priced compared to other locations in Nashville.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had reserved three rooms and were arriving early in the day, so we had requested that at least one room be available for early check-in. The staff had two rooms ready for us when we arrived at 11:30 AM and all rooms were together. We had the breakfast every morning which was very good but they close down at exactly 10:30 so don't be late. We also had a drink most nights at the bar which had nice bartenders and a comfortable atmosphere. About a ... Read more

This hotel in my opinion was good but not really value for money. To me it looks like they are complacent as there is a room shortage at the top end in Nashville so they can charge high prices which doesn't match the quality . Also be careful on the parking as it is expensive and there is also a mandatory daily charge of $12 for things like the shuttle bus, gym, pool, etc even if you don't use them. Please make sure you tip the bell boys as they are on less than the minimum wage as the tips are ... Read more

The hotel is absolutely amazing! It is just about 15 minutes walk to the bicentennial park and the food and wine festival that we where going. The staff at the reception was friendly and we only got to the third floor- an amazing and large apartment. Will recommend it and will be coming again!

We were pleasantly surprised with our recent travel to downtown Nashville, as this hotel is exquisite, complete with a very nice indoor pool and one of the nicest chain hotel room bathrooms. Love the breakfast layout on 2nd floor as well as club lounge on 24th. The only glitch we could possibly note was upon check-in, our preferred room type-king (our reservation) was not available so we received our standard room with 2beds and as a gesture, complimentary breakfast buffet for 2. A group of 13 of us stayed at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown over labor day weekend. The hotel and rooms are recently renovated and very nice. The hotel was busy, but the staff were still very attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated, less than 10 minutes to walk to music row, and a short uber ride to wherever you need to go. I would suggest getting club floor access, as the lounge was a great place for breakfast, and afternoon snack! The only downside is that the rooms are a bit... Read more

What to do with an outdated hotel? Transform the interior with modern decor and fabulous lighting and special touches. That's what the folks at the Sheraton Downtown did. Everything has been tastefully redone. Most important to a good stay - a wonderfully comfortable bed to sleep in! The price for a weekend night is ridiculously high, but I think that is what you will find in most Nashville hotels right now. (Blame it on the bachelorette weekends). On the positive side - the hotel bar is ... Read more

My family and I stayed here in July for 4 nights. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. We had no problems with our room. The layout of the hotel can be problematic for those with a fear of heights (like me) or vertigo. It's basically a giant square with glass elevators in the middle. Be aware that there are no refrigerators in the room. We requested one ahead of time because we have an infant who drinks formula that needs to be refrigerated. Shortly before our trip, I discovered that the for... Read more

Everything was wonderful!!!!!!! They had there own bus to take you where you wanted to go. Restaurant was also good. The only problem we had was with housekeeping, they told me to put the paper on the door if I wanted my sheets changed...Wrong I never them changed and they never gave me credit......
